Some nice obscure writing I wanted to add to this picture. I haven't done it in awhile. Though exhausting, I do enjoy writing long-winded and proper descriptions.
Actual description in the comments, some small lore in the process perhaps.
This almost looks like a Romanticized western painting. I haven't done a style like this in awhile.

The animals in the Sanctum will sort of go by virtue ethics, mixed in a little with some other constructs. :)
Aristotle has identified around 18 of them, the virtues each having an excess, a mean, and a deficiency.
I haven't quite decided on bugs for that but Musket probably represents the intellectual virtue Phronesis and has particular spheres of action in anger, indignation, and temperance. (This doesn't mean the character is stuck with these traits but more so the fall into them, I could also see some level of modesty for him.)
What is this exactly? Well, I honestly have no idea how it sparked into this painting. I was in a conversation with @FadingGlory and we ended up deciding that Musket is the most handsome horse who'd steal all of Hunter's ladies. ;)
Anyway, I had come down with the desire to draw her elf twins again for nostalgia. Fade suggested that I add Musket into the scenario because Hunter wants to regain his honor of being out bested by a horse.
The initial scene she suggested was more silly and innocent. Though I decided to depict something a bit more mature. I feel it tells more of a story.
Now, what would cause such a tempered stoic as Musket to act like this? And where the hell is Harper in the situation. I don't think she'd appreciate her horse being wrangled like this.

This is so cool!! I love the whole atmosphere and just ahhhh this piece is so beautiful!! This is just so gorgeous! I can't get over the fact of how gorgeous it is! Poor hunter having all his women stolen by a horse with a pierced ear, speaking of which, when did musket get his ear pierced?! Lol and log descriptions are the best! I tend to do many long descriptions lol
