Okay, so after Tress, the Queen of Zurak, was sentenced to the "Goi" (the name of Zurak's infamous executed scythe) for treason, secret executions on activists that spoke against her, mistreatment of her children (the list goes on), someone needed to take the mantle and be the ruler for the kingdom.
Bolide was kicked out of Zurak under his mother's rule because she saw him as too emotional and weak (she really banished him b/c she couldn't manipulate him). So, though he's the oldest, he's banished so he can't take the throne.
Next in line is Molly. Molly is so freakin' manipulated and brainwashed by their mother that she fights to avenge her mother and refuses to take the throne (though Tress was a HORRIBLE person). So, she's out of the question.
Oh, forgot to mention, their father, the king has been dead, for decades and Tress was just using magic 24/7 to make it seem he's alive (this is why she appears to be exhausted.) She had executed him early after Bolide was exiled.

(I FORGOT TO MENTION MATHAR. Mathar is older than Molly)
Mathar. Mathar had dissappeared off the face of the planet. No one knows where she went. Her story arc will be told later ;)
So, that leaves the king's ward, Zana.
**Zana is from a DIFFERENT Kingdom that we will call XI (no official name yet)
Zana is so emotionally wrecked and miserable from the things Esse, her "step-mother," did to her (such as: poisoning her parents so all of XI's treasures go to her. THEN, Esse "taking her in" to "teach her how to be a Queen." When in reality, Esse took Zana in so all of XI's treasures and finances would be under her handle.)
So, Zana takes the offer, since she IS technically apart of the family since she's a ward and they claimed guardianship over her. (Though she's the oldest, but she was the last in line to be a potential ruler because she's not royalty by blood.)
Zana takes over, and ends up turning Zurak into a "living nightmare" (this ties in with #MacooGrey and #Mayuflower's story)
So, with Zana finally being able to make the planet that made her feel like an outcast her entire life, being from a different kingodm, let alone another planet, it seems that she would be done. But, there's a problem.
Zana was directly apart of the main royal family. A family usually has cousins. The only cousin (as of now) is Nano. You would think Nano would be asked to be leader, considering she the next in line who is royalty by blood but just the cousin of the family. Um, no. She's a bit of an outcast too, and Zana knows this. Nano is half human, half Zurakian, which equates to an abomination.
Zana, just from being from somewhere else, was put down. Nano was always there to help Zana, nor did she ever treat Zana badly. So, logically, Zana would just leave her alone or try to get her on her side, right? Nope, she sends out an intergalatic alert about being an an accomplice in Mathar's murder. Considering Mathar is apart of the royal family, this is a big deal, and Nano goes off fleeing her planet and everything she has ever known.
So that's why Nano has fled. A long explaination, I know, but it's just here incase anyone was curious about the whole story behind her being on the lam from, well, every gov't within the four planet's-- Zurak, Mars (futristic), Mech, U.N.A., and the nearby star, a civilization hiding in a sun nearby

Ah snap, she's wanted on 4 different planets!? Geez!! Also, yet another example why judging people/racism sucks...
