Name: Dimitri Downer
Species: Vampire (Adopted as a human)
Age: Appears in Early 30s is about 13 years older than Althea in age.

Bio:
After having trouble conceiving a child the Downer family opted to adopt for their first child. Dimitri was adopted as a baby and raised by an Elf family. It wasn't until 13 years later until the Downer's actually conceived a child after going through countless miscarriages and mishaps in pregnancy.

So Dimitri and Althea are siblings though not by blood. Their relationship remains sour and twisted. Althea having a blood rite to the family heritage but showed no promise of being able to run the company.

The Downer's family company has been run by Elves for generations, and it was disappointing that their only heir was not only defiant but a delinquent as well.
Dimitri on the other hand was the exact opposite. He studied and worked closely with his foster father in the company for years. He was even able to enact several business decisions that saved it from going completely bankrupted. This earned him the utmost respect of his parents and he eventually inherited total control of family business.

The Downer's were known for having trade in salt/spices, oil, and an overall good chunk of energy comes from them.

Dimitri reign has started several expansions in their business. He struck a deal with the Malfia of Caelum, leading the Downer's family business down a more unethical path.
The Malfia is run by a family of vampires, with whom they offer protection in turn for money and power. They control the streets, deal illegal blood from sentient species, drugs. Generally protection is provided to the more richer folks of Caelum as the police are kind of useless.
Dimitri is in the class 4 blood business as well as bootlegging drugs and alcohol into Caelums walls.

He has also revolutionized some Vampire blood products, including blood made ketchup, chocolate, fragrances you name it. He's not the lead boss of the organization, but he is a very influential figure in the Vampire Malfia, even having some political influence over the City's system and streets.

Some believe that he only became a Vampire after joining, which is believed to be one of the family's ways of initiating important and higher class members.

Other things: He like white wine better than red, but after becoming a vampire they are more or lesd the same to him.

He has the class 4 blood enchanted, enriching it's effects on a Vampire's desire to have more of it.

He has two alternate forms but rarely uses them, unless it's for intimidation. The Rhino for larger areas, the boar for smaller enclosed locations.

His other vampire abilities like telepathy, he uses in his work in trade, especially in meetings that are meant to be more discrete.
