Whoa, this already looks so real.. You sure you have a long way to go? I know art and real-life stuff is different entirely, but: anything "deformed" shouldn't be stressed on.. Realistically, many humans are deformed in a minor or noticiable way. ..It's more so a personal belief but "imperfections" are realistic.

@Cleric you are totally right, but I meant that it doesn't look exactly as the real Melanie, which kinda upsets me because I can't never get a human face done right... XD
However it's the second realistic painting I do so I can't ask too much I guess
But thank so much! Your comment really motivates me to try this or another realistic drawing again and maybe publish it on my main account ^-^

Making accurate portraits is the hardest thing in art. I literally spend half of my drawing time just trying to get the proportions right. Just keep making small tweaks and be patient. Also, using the mirror tool to flip the image helps you notice small mistakes much more clearly

Aag! I can't @ you M.Collins! Sorry! x-x
First, thank you so much, your comment really made me happy; proportions are a total pain and that's true, I know that the mirror tool is really helpful and I should have used it!
Again thank you so much for the advices :)

@xNereax RE: Also thanks for your suppot, I appreciate it a lot and it helps me to keep going and attempt realism again, thanks (that process video is terrifying though, it took me a while to figure out how her face works) ^-^
Part of that is due to the method you are using. I tend to use that method as well, which is the no-lines, paint in the flats, then start forming the shapes and relations. It is a very fun and intuitive method, but it does mean you are likely to get some placement issues wrong and have to redo some things. When it works it is fast and looks good. When you don't get it right initially it can be a long and painful process figuring out what went wrong and fixing it.
You don't have to do a full outline but if you are going to do realistic portrats it might help to put just a quick centerline, and correct spots for eyes, mouth and chin. It takes only a few seconds and saves you a lot of time on the other end.
Also, once you do it once, since human dimensions are rougly similar on most faces, you can copy those initial marks as a new painting each time and use them for your next portrait. Then you just add the characteristic head shape, feature shape, etc.
