Salt water are usually vibrant color have tassels that extend all the way up sometimes all the way to their chin. The tail is longer than the freshwater's and has tassels on the end.
Sharp horns/spines extend down their back, their tail fins also are more of a rounded shape.
*Side note- their "wings" aren't longer, I branched the sketch and thougt they looked better extended.

They are typically more agressive than the freshwater
