"Harry, that's a nice name."
Mickey commented.

"Well, should we be on our way then?"
He asked. >

They walk to Mickey's house.
"It's not much of a house..."
Mickey commented.
"I used to own a much nicer house, until I got fired..."

It is a one story house that is relativly small. >

"You're right."

They enter the house.
All of the windows have the curtains drawn.
Mickey seemed releived to be back home.
"Can I make you a cup of tea or coffee?"
he asks Harry. >

"Ok."

Mickey goes to get Harry a glass of water, he starts thinking about how thirsty he is, he decides to make a cup of tea for himself that usually numbs his thirst for a while.

While he is waiting for the water to boil he gives the cup of water to Harry. >

"So, how do you like the interior?"
Asked Mickey.
"I decorated the place myself."
Mickey turned to look at Harry. He had a look of hunger in his eyes. >

Mickey turned around and waited for the kettle to brew, when it was done he made a cup of tea.

He sat down at the dining table that was in the kitchen, waiting for the tea to cool.
He looked at Harry again. >

"Not at all."
replied Mickey.

The room had a classic vibe to it, but with more vivid colours. The walls were vertical wood planks painted dark blue and the flooring was cream tiles.
The dining table was a black marble like table with a checkered Black and blue table cloth.
The countertop were also checkered the same colour.
The chairs looked old fassioned and retained a natural colour.
The sink and oven and cooking equipment felt asthetically off and like they'd hardly been used. There were several plants in pots and vases around the room.
There was also a shrub in a large pot over in one of the corners.
The only window had a white curtain drawn over it, the only light came from the flourecent strip lighting overhead, there didn't seem to be a lot of utencils availible either.
Both of the doors to exit the room were painted green. >

Mickey sits at the table waiting for his tea to cool.
"So Harry, how are you liking it here?">

Mickey sipped his tea, but it was still way to hot.

He turns to Harry with a serious look on his face.
"Harry, I think there's somthing you should know about me."
He says. >

"I'm... a vampire."
Mickey stated.
"I thought you should know sooner rather than later." >

Mickey nodded. >

"yeah you won't have to worry about that."
Mickey said. >

"Frankly, I'm not to sure what'll happen if I'm exposed to sunlight."
Mickey said.

"And of course it would be unwise to find out..."

"I dio feel a lot weaker in the daytime though..."

"Now garlic, it kinda like a narcotic, it would drain my energy and slow my movement, and weaken my strength."
Mickey explained.

"I've had first hand expirence with the effects of garlic..."
Mickey stated. >

"How so?"
Mickey asked. >

"Interesting..."
Said Mickey.

He sipped his tea.

"So tell me, are you a different species than us?"

"Or is this some kind of curse?"
Mickey asked. >

"Oh, I'm sorry..."
Mickey said.

"I've been a vampire for over a year now, it was hard to adapt at first..."
Mickey explained. >

"I wonder what colour your hair was before... That happened..."
Mickey wondered. >

Mickey sipped his tea again.
He looked off into the distance. >

Mickey took a gulp of tea.

"Look Harry, I'm not trying to vent onto you or anything, but I feel terrible all the time..."
Mickey said. >

"it's just that, I feel like a freak..."
Said Mickey. >

Mickey sighs. >

"It's realy nothing to do with being a vampire to be honest."
Mickey said.
"Being a vampire just means there are a bunch of weird christians that want to kill you..."

He looked at the floor.>

"Maybe you're not the best person to talk to about this..."
Mickey said. >

"I see, well, where do I start...
I guess you could say I'm well, unusual... in some ways..."
Mickey was having a hard time explaining himself. >

"Well, a lot of people don't give me the time of day because I'm "unnatractive"..."
He said. >

Mickey nodded.
"I might be tall, but that's about it, I find it impossible to work out, my complection is always terrible so I have to use concealer all the time... Since I became a vampire I've found it difficult to change my weight so I'm super skinny... My eyes and nose are way to big..."
Mickey ranted.

"And once, I used to have a friend, but they stopped being my friend because they found somthing out about me they didn't like..."
Mickey said. >

"You'd be supprised how much looks have a play in, well, everything realy..."
Mickey said.
"I'm not realy insecure about most of my physical atributes It's just somthing I have to deal with I guess..."

"I suppose I'm not the most aproachible individual either..."

"I do have quite a short temper so I guess I come off as kind of agressive..."
"Most people just find me creepy though..." >

"Well, I guess there are some crazy people who are attracted to me..."
He stated.

Mickey hesitated.

"Leif."
Mickey started to look upset. >

"No, no it's just, he... Leif, hurt me a lot."
Mickey replied.
he rubbed his neck.

"I'm not sure if can say much about it..."
Mickey stated. >

"It's ok, I've been doing nothing but dwell on it for the last year now... "
Mickey admitted.

"I just can't seem to move on..."
Mickey lamented.
"The pain, humiliation and terror was too great for me to handle..."
Mickey leaned his head on the table. >

"It just goes to show how weak I am..."
Mickey said. >

Mickey looked up.
"You don't understand.
If I was stonger, or at least more cautious.
This would have never happened..."

"I would be so much happier..."
He covered his eyes with his hands. He didn't even feel like crying, he was just distraught at this point. >

"Sorry... I should just move on, I should try to forget about this. But I can't..."
Mickey said

"I just don't ever feel safe anymore." >

"I think having somebody know how I feel makes me feel a bit better..."
Mickey said. >

"I think, I've needed to talk to someone about this for a while..."
Mickey said.
"I... thank you..." >

Mickey was silent.
He looked down.
he broke the silence by saying,
"but, I'll never truely go back to how I was before... will I?"
He asked. >

Mickey sipped his tea.

"I'm not sure what to do now..."
Mickey said.
"I..." >

Mickey thought for a moment.

"I suppose that's not a bad idea..."
He said.

"I guess I just don't know where too look for those things..."

"I don't even have a GP at the minuite..."

Mickey realised something.
"I haven't had my blood tested in ages... I hope I'm ok..."

He hadn't thought about that before. >

Mickey said.
He drank his tea.
His tea was all gone. >

"ok."

Mickey got up and took the empty glass and filled it with water. >
