in the place of xyz summoning theyhave vortex summoning and the plot is there are five friend that all get strange dragon cards called ultimate dragons there are 50 in all ultimate dragons they came from another dimension along with the ultimate ruler cards to earth and the dragon card weilders have to stop the ruler card weilders from summoning vortex the consumer of darkness.
