there was more to the dream but the only thing i remember clearly is the smash brothers part
id already played a few games with friends from one server on discord (i'll call it server a), and some friends from another server (server b) wanted to join
so with permission, i invited my friends from server b into server a, and i mostly just remember my friend gary from server b having a hard time joining the match hfhfjdh
eventually the match started tho, a six player match with three stocks each player and a time limit of five minutes aaaand some absolutely g l o r i o u s game lag and input delay
i still played kinda alright, and as certain players were knocked out the lag eased up, and eventually it was me vs two friends from server a (cant quite remember who)
that's when the match went Really Weird, and the camera was suddenly freely controllable, and my friends had characters that werent in the game (dont remember who) n everyone suddenly had a giant powerup except for me

it didn't take long for the game to start freaking out even more
i remember someone (i think most of us were vcing?) asking if my switch was on a frozen screen, and i said "no but my computer's lagging", implying i was playing smash on my computer?? and at this point i dont even know if i was, but if i was then my computer woulda bluescreened cuz it's garbage lmao
either way, i suddenly found MYSELF in the match, moving around via balancing on a ball, and then i summoned this yellow bird guy as a stand because i was outmatched???? and after that it gets rlly vague before i then wake up

so yea, guess i have a stand now
