It was kinda half based on a pic I found in an fantacy art book that my mum owns. (Can't remeber what it was called..) But it was a pic of two (litral) blue sea lions.

As for your half, I can't think of anything at the moment so I'll comeback to you on that.

Wow that background is amazing! The work that went in to it is inspiring! Work and detail on the manticore is incredible as well. I can see why it's called seven.
