so last night i woke up a few times, and had several dreams that all seemed to be continuations of eachother and it got freaky fast
the first dream was pretty chill and intriguing actually, it was some sorta swap au for the sonic series, with sonic swapped with chAOS??? and chaos was now this kinda watery shapeshifting chao thing, the dream was very short/hard to remember but obviously i am i n t r i g u e d
i was expectin that to be just it, and i went back to sleep,, and had another dream
there's a rlly cool swap au for the sonic series on tumblr known as darkswap, where shadow and rouge are swapped with eachother, leading to things like sonic n tails swapped, maria n robotnik swapped, etc. and its rlly cool and u should check it out when u have the time
anyway, theres a discord server for the au, and i dreamt that i went and told everyone in the server about my dream, starting it with "hey i had a dream about a swap au"

(THIS NEXT PART IS HORRIBLY UNCHARACTERISTIC OF THE PEOPLE THERE, EVERYONE IS NICE DONT WORRY) the people in the server ganged up on me and were like "oohhh so youre ripping off darkswap ey" and in the dream i just got so much sh.it thrown at me that the owner stepped in and told everyone to stop
after that i found myself in a venting channel (there is none in the darkswap server) and i noticed some old stuff from my friend dave/dany even tho he's not even remotely aware of darkswap
there was also this strange user who had been talking to him, no username and their icon couldnt be clicked, said icon was just.. brown
it seems dany had been arguing with the user about something, and then the user randomly started begging for dany to "give coin", in a kinda strange way
it seems dany ditched the conversation after that
when i finished reading, i just decided to get up and go into my house's kitchen to get a drink, musta been late because it was pretty dark

i then heard the back door open (ya gotta go through the kitchen to get to the back door), and assumed it was my dad lettin our dog out one last time for the night, and thus i said hi over to the door
i received no reply, looked over, and saw this... muddy, brown thing kinda like in the above drawing shambling through the door
as you would do with this thing, i s c r e a m e d and instantly ran out the kitchen door, but it suddenly was right there in our living room and i almost ran straight into it
the strangest part about it was that it kept asking "coin" in this low, raspy voice
it also seemed to be placing these large invisible blocks down that i could somehow see the outline of, so i jumped onto a stack, jumped over the thing and ran to my room and slammed the door shut
my door doesnt have a lock (broken doorknob, thanks to whoever lived in the house before we moved in), so i barricaded my door and hid somewhere

after that i "woke up"? i genuinely have no clue if i did wake up or not because it felt so real but im gonna assume i didnt because it just seems too strange what happened
i "woke up" in my bed, late at night/super duper early, like youd normally jus wake up from a Freaky Nightmare
i stared at the ceiling in stunned fear for a bit, before then, me being me, getting paranoid about the dream and hiding my face under my blankets, because i was expecting smth to jump out at me in the darkness
then, what felt like a minute later, i sUDDENLY FELT THIS WEIGHT ON MY BODY AND TWO ARMS AROUND ME, and i jumped and pulled the blanket off my face and it was,,, my dad, jus givin me a hug
he said smth i didnt really catch, i awkwardly hugged him back, and then he went out and i spent the next however long (it took a while) falling back to sleep, and then i /properly/ woke up.. assuming the last part was a dream because GOD?? IT FELT SO REAL AND I AM SO CONFUSED, IT PROBABLY WAS JUST A PART OF [CONT.

THE WEIRD DREAM STUFF BUT AAAAAAAA?????????
ok but im jus gonna stop rambling now and hope i dont dream about the coin monster later tonight

update: it was just a part of the dream and im an idiot for thinking it might not have been lmao
i told my dad about the coin monster and he told me he musta saved me from it in my dream pfffft
