It still sparks P2 to be a hero, but he thinks now he shouldn't have friends because he'll get them hurt. So after carrying both Luna and Jack to the hospital, he leaves. He pushes himself in training hard, constantly reminding himself how bad he messed up. :'( He hones his dark powers, and becomes a pretty tough little guy. From that day on, he uses his powers to disguise himself whenever something goes down. People call him The Shadow because his face is always enveloped with them. ( cont. )

He left Jack some get-well cards with some treats while he was sleeping in the hospital.

Luke's story is that Malphesis, his dad, sent his underlings to go get him at an earlier age. But his mother helped him escape while she distracted him. Luke never saw her again since then. While wandering the streets, he hears a bunch of pained grunts and thuds.
He finds P2 taking care of some thugs who were robbing a mini-mart. ( cont. )

Luke had rumors of The Shadow, but he's never seen him up close. So being him, he's excited!
P2 notices him, and tells him it isn't safe out this late and that he should head home.
Luke tells him why he can't, and P2 feels pretty sorry for the little guy. ( He may be a bit rougher, but he still has a big heart. :') )

He decides to ask if he wants to come with him, to which Luke eagerly agrees to. :P ( The whole backpack thing is just mimicking the whole Sonic and Tails thing from the SATM show, lol. xD cont. )

So P2 shows him his hideout. Thanks to his little tinkering skills, it's pretty decent. While he does decide to let Luke stay, he says he wants him to help him clean around him, and he'll keep him fed.
Luke agrees, and eventually he asks if P2 can teach him how to fight too.
He's hesitant, but if anything should happen, Luke would need to defend himself. So he does. 'v')b

And you guys know the rest. :P The ultimate duo is born! *^* Starts off younger, but still! Also, Luke also looks for his mom to see if she's still alive. o/
