More lore! :D
I really, really needed to figure out some kind of basic currency system for my world, so here's some info on the currency used in Vallis, Aether and several other countries.

Bronze Raine (AKA copper raine or just raine) - The lowest form of currency you can get. Basically the equivalent of a 1-pence coin. They were called 'raindrops' at one point, but the name got changed in recent years.
Silver Haar (AKA haar) - Equivalent to ten raines, the second-lowest currency you can get.
Gold Squall (AKA a squall) - Equivalent to a hundred raines or ten haars. They're the only coin with rounded edges, and are also the thickest.
This world does have paper money as well, I just didn't draw any. There's paper money for five, ten, fifty, and a hundred squalls.

The front sides of the coins are always printed with images, either of magical creatures or well-known landmarks. Examples include the Heaven's Watchtower (tallest mountain in Vallis), the Northern Plains (again, from Vallis) and the castle in Central Caelum.
The back sides are printed with the date the coin was made, along with a number representing how many raines it's worth. (1 for a raine, obviously.)

And here's some silly money-related expressions/terms I thought people might use in my world.
"Whistle up a storm" - To get a large amount of money, usually quickly.
Example: 'We won't be able to pay that guy back unless we can whistle up a storm before next week.'
"Catching raindrops" - Having very little money; living in an unstable financial situation.
Example: 'It's hard enough planning for Christmas when you're not catching raindrops.'
(This one's old-fashioned, people don't use it anymore.)
"Storm" - Just a slang term for a large amount of money, typically more than a hundred squalls.
"Fogwalker" - Slang term for someone very rich, often used to refer to a rich person who takes money for granted.
Example: 'Those fogwalkers don't have a clue what it's like for people living in poverty.'
(Done, maybe I'll make another currency lore post sometime.)
