1. His human and dragon forms are /not/ the same person. They are separate, alternative versions of him that live in different worlds. The human one is more developed and I consider it the 'real' version of him.

2. He is widowed. His wife, Belle, died over twenty years ago in a mysterious accident. There were whispers that Pazzia had intentionally killed her, since she died in his house and there was no-one else around at the time... but there wasn't enough evidence to prove it, and anyone who really looked at him could tell the scientist was in shock over her death.

3. He has very poor eyeight, being legally blind in his left eye (he can see blurred colours and lights out of it, but nothing distinct).

4. He has a strange habit of carrying vials of highly dangerous - often explosive, acidic or toxic - substances in his coat pockets, and sometimes threatens to throw them at people who annoy him. Luckily, there have been no known cases of him actually doing this.

5. He's pretty much never happy; part of this is due to his grief over Belle's death, but he's always been a temperamental person, and has a great deal of difficulty connecting with others. Most of the time, he's content to stay at home, absorbed in his experiments and research, and not interact with the outside world at all.

6. His full name is Pazzia Leonardo Ashworth, and he hates both of his first two names. 'Leonardo' especially, since it's his father's first name, and Pazzia was never on very good terms with him. 'Ashworth' was his wife's maiden name; after they married, he adopted her surname rather than the other way around, in an effort to sever ties with his family.

7. Although he normally copes with emotions by drowning himself in work, there have been a handful of times when he's chosen to drink himself into a blackout instead. This isn't very hard to do, considering he's a scrawny frail old man with no alcohol tolerance.

8. He owns a car, that he only uses for driving into the nearest town for food and science supplies every now and again. It's a rusty green Opel Kadett that somehow still works. He's an atrocious driver, and has only narrowly missed killing people before.

I think her dad initially taught her when she was smaller. I have an old picture where they were doing that but it's pretty outdated.
I can imagine her practicing on her own though, but her dad was probably the one to get her into using a gun.

He didn't do the same for her younger sisters though, Piper and Quinn are a lot harder to handle and not always the most attentive when it comes to learning. :

the "scrawny frail old man" line was both funny and sad to me, it made me feel bad for him but something about it was funny too, prolly cause i can picture him with booze and just... rip XD
