1. I have "code names" I guess for the different stages of Terra's life, and the different versions of him out there, like here in this picture. From left to right, they are:
Smoll Bean Terra
Mean Green Teen Bean Terra
Old Terra
New Terra
Nightmare/Pain Train Terra
Secret/Cool Terra
Red Head Terra

2. Anyone who's read anything from the #SoledormirsKeysRP, will know Terra stutters when he speaks, especially if he's nervous. This is something he's always had since he was little, though it wasn't always this bad, it was better before his father died, and I imagine the stuttering is something Fable had a little bit of too.

3. Speaking of Fabledream, he was the principal for the local school in his time, he and Terra would walk to school every morning. Being the principal's kid had both its pros and cons with the other students, but it didn't do Terra much good if he got in trouble--as going to his father's office, knowing he's in trouble with his dad, was quite the scary thing in his kid mind.

4. Terradream has always had a love for solving puzzles and mysteries, whether it's jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, mystery TV shows, he loved that kind of stuff. He's also always had a love for learning and reading too, perhaps due to the fact his father was a school's principal and his mother is an author.

5. Terradream's Venatavis form actually has some very personal ties to his father, and is a big part of why he doesn't use that form much. After Jezebel attacked and forced Fable to turn into a Husk Nightmare, both Terra and his mother, Summer's Dream, were grieving, but Summer tried to comfort Terra by telling him that Fable became a star and was watching over them. Terra, not knowing any better, thought if his father was a star way up in the sky, he could be a bird and fly up there to see him again... But any old bird wouldn't do the trick, because they don't have arms, which Terra would need for what he wanted to do when he got up there. So, he picked a Venatavis form, a bird with arms, so he could fly up to the stars and give his dad a big hug...
As time went by and he got older, he realized that wasn't possible, but he kept with that form anyway, as he grew to be curious and fascinated by the species and their culture, and loved birds in general.

6. Terradream and Summer's Dream weren't actually from Howaito, they moved there after Fable's death to put distance between them and Jezebel's last known location. What's more, as it is well known by now in the Shadow Hunters that Jezebel obsesses over any victims that survive or escape her parties, Terra and his mother had guards/Shadow Hunters on rotation that went with them wherever they went, and even secret agents who would follow without making themselves known. One of those Shadow Hunters was Solace Dream, who Summer later went on to marry.

7. When Terra was little, he loved wearing shorts, t-shirts, and sandals, sometimes even preferring to go barefoot. He loved playing outside in the grass and the mud and getting all dirty. After Jezebel, he'd have nightmares of her picking him up and trying to bite him, and he'd remember how cold her touch was, and he wouldn't wear those clothes anymore. He'd stick right close to his mother and never wandered very far from her, he'd practically cling to her for the longest time, but gradually got a bit better about that as he grew up.

"Don't worry ma, it's just a phase!"

8. After moving to Howaito and going to a new school, Terra had trouble finding and making friends, as he was a very nervous kid who was afraid of making friends, only to lose them again. That, paired with his mother marrying Solace and him hitting his teenage years, got Terra into quite the interesting period of his life. He resented Solace for being one of the ones there who failed to save Fable, then Terra felt he was trying to replace his father when Solace married Summer, and that's when Terra started to become more of an angry kid rather than a nervous one. Terra started letting his hair grow all out and messy, stopped eating as much as he used to, started using no-no words, talked back to his Mom, Solace, and Sparky, and overall was rebellious.

9. Terra tried using contact lenses instead of glasses during this time, for all of his forms, because glasses look dorky. At the same time, contacts are a lot more uncomfortable to him, they were hard for him to get into his eyes without blinking too much, and they were much easier to lose, too...

10. But, despite trying to dress to be "cool," he still never fit in with the cool kids, i-it's hard t-to be cool wh-when you're stutt-ttering over all your w-words... And he never went full-on die-hard edgy either, he never got any piercings or anything and couldn't give up his love for reading or learning... Yup, he still loved reading, even with his hair like that... For the most part, he was just that edgy kid who stayed over by himself, who'd read books and snap at people to leave him alone.

11. Terra didn't really have plans as to what to do with his life for the longest time, he didn't aim to become a Shadow Hunter until well after Purity was born. He thought they were all hypocrites first, then later he wanted to try and show Solace up by being a better Shadow Hunter than him, then eventually he realized it wasn't the fault of the Shadow Hunters for not being able to save his father, it was Jezebel's, for the evil she committed in the first place.

12. His emo, edgy years are another thing to really, /really/ embarrass poor Terra, but not just anyone's going to know about that... Luckily for everyone, he grew out of that phase.

"Would it kill ya to change your clothes once in a while? ..."

13. As for his original design, I had imagined he'd not care as much about how he looked or dressed anymore, and he wouldn't even use his human form that often, so I didn't put very much thought at all into it either :'D And then with him dying and coming back as a ghost, I made him able to turn invisivble, so he wouldn't have to worry as much about being uncomfortable in his human form... So even though he's almost in his 30's, he's rocked that really not fitting goofy outfit for 3, going on 4, years... It's about time I give my poor ghost boy some love with a new, /much/ better looking outfit!

14. Terra's legs are ticklish, especially his ankles, even in his true form. He really doesn't like it though, and finds it embarrassing.

15. Terra's a rather good cook, he knows how to make a good handful of meals, and even if they aren't anything super spectacular, they taste great.

16. Terra loves pumpkins, anything with pumpkins, whether it's scented candles or pumpkin pie.

17. Terra can play the accordion and drums, the former is his prefferred instrument to play and is something he started learning when he was younger, as something to do instead of moping. The latter he picked up in his later years of being in the Shadow Hunter school, his friends wanted to rock out on their guitars and they needed someone to play the drums, so Terra did it just for the sake of doing it. He's also played around with pianos some, thanks to some of the similarities they have with accordions, and Catcher having one at his house.

18. Terradream is also somewhat of an artist, though he wouldn't say that--he's good at sketching faces and the like on paper to help him remember what important people or people of interest look like. He tends to write down a lot of things, to make absolutely sure he doesn't forget, or to review/study later.

19. Another thing Terra enjoys is--uh--whatever the Land of Dreams' version of D&D is, whether he's going through a campaign with his friends, or even being the DM himself.

20. Terra's not terribly afraid of bugs, and has some that he actually likes. He's probably the reason why Purity is so horrified of them... Good ol' older brothers. The only things he'd get a bit spooked by are spiders--not near on the level of Purity, no, and it's not that he gets spooked every time--and that's just because he at one point learned that one of Jezebel's favorite forms is a spider form.

21. Terra's prefferred type of weapon is guns, believe it or not, he's never liked the idea of using swords or melee combat, as that's much too up close and personal, and he hates how long that takes to kill something. Guns, on the other hand, offer a much swifter, less violent end without having to dirty one's hands with the brutality of battle, if used properly with enough training, knowledge, and experience. For Terra, hunting and killing dark, corrupted creatures isn't just a mindless blood bath, it's not something to show off proudly to the world, how many you've killed--it's not an enjoyable, thrilling experience, being in the heat of battle--it's a somber act of putting a suffering person out of his or her misery, so he or she won't have to suffer any longer while the body that once was his or hers runs wild with corruption and evil, it's freeing them from that torture so they can move on, and not hurt anyone else, either... However, guns are still relatively new technology in the Land of Dreams, and expensive, so he dropped using them in the Shadow Hunter school to focus more on playing a supportive role with his Elemental magic.

22. Nightmare Terra was something that was forseen in #SoledormirsKeys, #BHBlue had a vision of the future where Soledormir won, and #LSDreameater, the Nightmare King, was there with Terra, who was a Husk Nightmare. Nightmare Terra is probably the hardest thing I've ever tried to draw/color/touch up, I procrastinated working on him as much as possible in this picture. Seeing the expression Fluffy made for him especially was hard, those empty black eyes with the ripped open mouth... I don't ever want to touch another painting of him ever again :'D

23. In the headshot I did of Nightmare Terra's true form, way back when, I gave him slit orange pupils, and Nightmare Terra does not have those here. That is because, the first picture I did was more of a "what if" scenario where Terra turned into a Nightmare without being forced to, and the version of him here is a Husk. Husks do not have pupils of any kind, just solid black voids for eyes.
