Making these dot portraits, it's a weird combination of "Aaargh! These dots will drive me crazy!!", but also something strangly relaxing, doing the same thing over and over again. :)

@Kuyakid It's really not that hard, you just draw with tiny dots over a photo. :) You just need some patience, and a little practice. ^-^

This looks amazing! Star Trek is the best series ever. I personally prefer Next Gen over the original tho. Data is one my favorite characters ever.

Aww, thank you, @FayDimbleby! ^w^ I tried getting into Next Gen, and while I enjoyed some of it, it never captured my heart the way TOS, and especially Spock did. :)

Wow! It's a beautiful painting! I actually unliked it because I thought it was traced, but then I realized there was no reference imported and I saw the comments about dot art. That is incredible!

@sasquatchsamurai Well, to be honest, dotart is pretty much like tracing, so I won't be offended if you unlike it again, haha! I have no idea why it looks like I haven't used a photo here, because I absoulutly did, not gonna pretend like I didn't. :)
I guess people maybe find these drawings impressive because of the amount of time it takes? I don't know, I just really enjoy doing it now and then, there's something kinda relaxing about the process, even tho it can be quite challenging doing the details, lips can take a couple of hours.
Puuh, that was a way too long comment, sorry! But yes, I could never have done this without a photo. :)

Hi @Didi_, glad you like it! :) It's actually not that hard, since you pretty much just trace a photo using dots. The smaller dots, the more details you can get. It takes a while to do it, but it can be fun too! Give it a try! :)

@gray_rose1121 This was made on my 2DS, and it's really not that hard to do. :) You just dot/trace a photo on the bottomscreen. It takes forever tho, lol!
