does anyone know how to make the fur on her ears stand out at this angle? I'm at a loss and having trouble finishing this pic. Please help!

hmmmm... i havent drawn as much for the past several months so im a bit off on my game, but--
the lightsource here is from infront & above him right?
where his hair floofs out around his ears, you could add shadows that are a bit stronger than other places cause i figure less light of any kind (lightsource & ambient/reflective light) would reach there.
then i suppose just do normal fur shading?
maybe i should sloppily recreate this wip and try to show you what im talking about since i dont think im explaining this well lol.
