1. “Mayday” was the name given to him by his best friend (Carter) in school where he was studying to become an engineering technician of sorts. His real name is Matthew Hemswrite
2. Tulip is his best friend! They’ve been best friends since their preteen years and they’ve been through a lot together!
3. Ever since his mother was murdered at an early age he often masks his scarf in her perfume as a comfort scent.
4. He’s no artist but he doodles and writes down his thoughts from time to time, only tulip has seen the inside of his journal.
5. His favorite animal is almost any kind of bird but he’s really fond of owls ever since he found his barn owl, Ore, as a chick and raised him.
6. He’s a bit of an ambivert. He values his alone time but he finds himself the happiest when he’s with his friends, especially tulip, if you know what I mean *wink wink wink*
7. He has a bittersweet liking to farm work. His father was a business man who lived a comfortable life but sent mayday away to a relatives farm over the summers or when he didn’t feel like being bothered by him.
8. Lastly mayday designed his wings to mimic the aerodynamics of a birds to efficiently get from place to place. He designed them as a showcasing project for his college but it definitely still needs tweaking since the flying time is limited.
