2: This fact is somewhat true foe few other characters, too; ..mostly #Lora, who had the alternate name: Lise in the original story before it was erased :( In this story Wit/Vitt was more so careful with his words and kinder, mostly because he saw life outside hell as a new start. In the current story Wit is still sees it as such but can't stop his demonic character from coming through in his speech and temperment in some occasions..

3: Wit is constantly assassinated by his demon brethern. Specifically his actual siblings and later other demons sent to capture and/or kill him. The reason is simply because they want him to suffer as they are and hate him for somehow escaping hell and not having to return like they do.

4: As you can see, Wit isn't like normal demons and was degraded because of this. Another effct from not being like them is his laid-back nature causes his inability to cast magic and use alchemy like the others. It's even revealed he doesn't know how to strike comtracts

5: More on Wit being different; it's also revealed that Wit's a product of ra.pe and via miracle wasn't destroyed by his mother.. instead he was born as a spawner (Hell's answer to demons constantly murdering each other and dwindling their own numbers) Wit's physical-half of his body carries "pollen" which is ripped out of his flesh to produce more demons, along with being able to procreate normally. Unfortunately, while Wit was young he was inflicted with the Parasitic Twin birth defect (Don't look it up unless you like vore like pictures!) He was taken to the lord of the woods mother-demon which tore the other demons out of him, which are his siblings mentioned ealier. He also was forced to there again to be ripped for his pollen which produced a clone of himself.. as the princes of hell planned. Wit described the process as painful and of course was angered just explaining it...

6: Emphasizing on his pain, his spawn/siblings actively tormented him in hell, until he escaped. Even when he got free, they were th first one's to try getting him to restore "honor" to theur family, only to be murdered by Wit. This saddened him, but the the torture everybody put him through wasn't something he'd willingly go back to. Further, Wit also was apparently "friends" with many demons before they betrayed him, too! He mentions everybody by name and knows their personalities, though he never saw them fight before... Wit wins and/or escapes by destroying their demon hearts which sends his brethern to oblivion, and is able to keep from being dragged back or being killed himself, by later demons who's orders are to simply kill him. Even later on, a constant threat called "Divine Punishment" is something ALL demons actively avoid, it's 1st revealed by Wit as he avoid humans (Look up any religion: demons can't physically contact/hurt people normally) until he's found by Lora..

7: Another uniqe instance is several facts in one. Wit develops a soul! It's explained all demons are meta-physical (except the original fallen angels) and that destroyimg their hearst would obliterate them. Wit though has a chance at reincarnation because he unknowingly grows a soul while with Lora. They developed feelings for each other, which Wit denies and is upset by.. He tries not to act on his feelings because of his embarrassment and his interaction with her can be dangerous to Lora... But stays with her anyway. The princess herself can see straight through his demonic nature and lying, which annoys him at first, but having someone he CAN trust means more to him and so he doesn't get mad at his feels anymore. It's revealed near the end that even if Wit's killed, he CAN come back as a animal or human... (Though he has become a human temporarily before through alchemy) It's also revealed Wit's healing ability's slightly different from most demons, to make up for his lack of power

8: This would be spoilers, but considerimg no one here's gonna read Abnegation... At the end of the sory, Wit stays in heaven to avoid constant fighting. It was suggested by God's children, but it came at the price of his not being able to see Lora, making the end bittersweet...

In the sequel it's going to be revealed that Wit's been learning alot while up there and is able to perform all demonic and even some heavenly abilities. It's because he has a soul he was given this treatment and he comes back to Earth solely to be with his girlfriend (though he won't directly admit it). Another curious revalation becomes crystal clear in both parts; Wit DOESN'T seem to suffer Divine Punishment when with Lora, and other demons believe she's just a exception and try using her as leverage in fights. But it's revealed that their Divine Punishment was being obliterated by Wit, and Wit's punishement was simply having to deal with his past.. now he's free of it. :)
