8facts: Azura Berg by Cleric

I got tagged to show 8 facts about #Azura! I'm REALLY thankful for this one, because I have SO much info for him AND somebody saw at least some of my #comic/ #Ubercomic!!

@Chichidane
@Februaryfay
@MissRUchan
@Sihobantron

Again, I'm not making anyone do any OC in particular, so they can do one with history behind them. Alright, here we go!

1: Azura's based on #Gunther from #Sevendeadlysins, except he's human and is emo for.. reasons...

2: The story takes place in the distant future, and mankind started evolving. Azura's high power is emotion based (similarly to #Raven from #Teentitans?) and they directly control his output of power. Because of this (unlike most people with this similar power) Azura is calm most of the time, it also helps that he's chill naturally anyway. The onky time he shows true emotion is when his friends are in danger, and when he meets the love of his life, later...

3 This brings us to this fact; Azura names most of his attacks. He & his friends wanted to start a band with their powers, but instead are forced to use them to defend themselves. Azura's signature attacks are:
SPECIALICHTKANON!
BiteLight
FightLight
Herritt (Yes, directly inspired by Gunther..)
There's many others, also. All based on either raging emotion, or calm thoughts... The latter greatly affects people with vile emotions/acts, it directly destroys them when Azura CAN feel hope while fighting agitating/evil opponents.

4: Azura is a legendary hero! It's too true, but... he isn't interested in the business. It's mostly because of his parents pushing him to fight and compete, and because it later envolves commiting murder... While Azura does have to resort to violence later in the series, it's forced and from raw/upset emotion when he fights and kills, not for pride, greed or power. Unfortunately his past comes to hunt him later, when his parents find him hanging out...

5: About the past? Yeah, Azura is somewhat a purebred hero. His parents both have the same powers and of the same nationality, they come from a line of heroic people and wanted to force their 1st born into the same business. Azura was uninterested and left as soon as he could, unfortunately a year or something later, they find him again and pit him against his only brother, which didn't end well for anyone.. In the end this made Azura more so dark, and despite being kind to close friends, he normally assumes he HAS to kill...

6: It gets worse from here, Azura, despite being quiet.. genuily enjoys his friends and likes making more. Anyone outside of thier tight group who's welcomed by #Lite or #Empath are immediately his friend, too. But... his past and/or luck ruins the fun he has with them. In another case, he finally starts acting/talking normal (as compared to his listless speech; um, it's read like "this..." he ends almost everything with "...") when he starts dating a ninja girl. Her similar situation--being forced to kill by her family, resonates with him, and he's able to transform (something I'll explain next..) thanks to her. But she's killed while he's searching for thir then latest enemy.. and his transformation/emo power skyrockets to insane heights. Sadly this makes him truly act emo, instead of chillin'; the last half of the comic has him nearly solely talking to his BFFs and suggesting on murdering suspicious people immediately. He does have his humanity, but he's quite upset now..

7: On a lighter note, Azura's fun to be around normally. He often says things that catches those outside his friend group by surprise! One of the reasons how; is because he's a pervert.. though when he's actually around girls; he doesn't announce the first goofy thing that comes to mind. When he finally DOES; his then girlfriend (though more respectable herself) merely shrugs it off. Later, his words become much more endearing when around her, and more of personality shows, which somewhat overfriendly, similar to Lite's. (Except Azura's not a bombastic or excitable?) Another fact in this one, is Azura's also quite caring.. to a point. All his sudden violent outbursts only surround his friends being hurt, never his own self... In both versions of the comic, he's mostly quiet until the midway point, then all his reasonings become apparent..

8: Last but not least; the comic i in the future and evolution surrounds the human race all becoming Superhuman! But it's really hard to do, with merciless cannibalism being one way and care being another. While there's a perfect way to go about it, Azura transforms after seeing when his girlfriend was going to risk her life to save him from being murdered. After this, on a different arc, when she is: he transforms again. When hedoes he inadvertedly became a legendary hero as people thought he'd be. Though, like a real hero, thought nothing of his deed and merely acts as he think he should. Everything I said about him killing earlier isn't as tense as it looks. Azura rarely does as he still hates doing the act, and instead would rather chill with his freinds and continue his telemarketing business. By the end of the comic, his being a hero brings fame to his friends too! His being himself actually works out positively despite the suffering he endures.

@Dubitheartist, I have no Earthly nor Godly idea. He's suppose to look like a crossdressing emo.
