I wasn't to sure what stuff to do with Catch, it hard to pick just 8 out of Hundreds of things I could say but I kinda did it? But with Catch I did it a bit different, I did the first 4 with Catch here on colors that you all know and 5 though 7 are about Catch in my original story and 8 is Catch Origin.
There a lot so just be aware of that, exactly 8

stuff about Catch you know on colors and Skey.

1) Dreamcatcher is much younger in the Skey story, he only 21, I keep him younger because that seem like a good age to start him in the RP. I want Catch to Experience things and uncover things on the same level as everyone else in the RP so I made Catch young and Naive fresh out of School, he unexpected with different things in life but he can learn if given the chance.

Besides being Naive Catch has always had a Curiosity, he like to Explore and had a odd /gift/ in finding old Ruin and Relics but this Curiosity also go for others as well, Catch can be very curious about people, who they are and were they come from, he likes getting to know people he just a Buddy kind of guy.

Catch is also very kind, humble, compassionate and most of all Patient, unfortunately this has led him to get beaten up and mocked many times, he been Viewed as weak and pathetic but despite how many times he has been beaten or Abandoned Catch wont give up hope on others (just giving up hope for himself) but he still time and time again will sacrifice so much for others, he stubborn that way.

Catch dose have a Cunning side, it rarely seen as he only does it if given the right chance and Circumstance, ( which is rare in the RP) when Certain confrontation arise were Brute force or Threats will not work Catch will come to an artful Solution that others Typically don't think of.

2) Catch dosen't have a Tragic back story, Catch was Raised by Loving parents, who he Respects, he cared for his younger sister. He had a close friend ( Dreamweaver)
who was like a brother to him and he was close friends with Purity, Terra and Eira who he end up cushing on, overall he had a good life.

I didn't want to give Catch a horrible backstory, it nice to see a happy one for a change and I knew Catch would have it hard in Skey (I just never thought it would become his Tragic story ) Catch out of all my boys has had it the worst in the RP, to the point where I thought people wanted me to kill him and I myself hated him because of what he had become. Thankfully I had some good help in keeping me from killing Catch because I am not one who brings characters back to life just for the sake of doing that, death has a weigh in my universe, it not something to take lightly so if I killed him, Catch would stay dead...something that would have truly hurt me to do, but if the RP demanded it I would have gone through with it.

I was told to look at this dark time for Catch as maybe a Symbol of his Origin, that yeah right now things are bad for him but not to give up, good will come and so I hope Catch can break through once again, because his story isn't over yet.

3) Dreamcatcher has actually met 4 of the 6 ancient Nightmares, Malice was the first when he was a fawn, Omen Broken tree Branch Catch was climbing and he fell and broke his arm, Mal who was Disguised found Catch and took him to the boys Parents.

The Second was Shattered Dream, when Eira Disappeared for 4 years Catch went out looking for her, on two occasions Shattered try to kill Catch ( though Catch didn't know that who it was) Catch only Survived thanks to a school friend who went looking for him.

Dreamwaker and Tainted Dream both along with Shattered, Catch Met at in inn his school friend brought him to after passing out from one of Shattered Attempts of killing him, all 3 Ancients were in their Disguise a long with a Dozen other Nightmares, unknown to Catch he was a lamb in a wolf den but that lamb could not be touched as long as his school friend was there. Catch had noooo idea he was Surrounded by high ranking Nightmares

4) Catch has tassels, growing up they have always been Sensitive when touch, if you want to get his attention just grab one of his tassels like his mom would do but be cautious, Catch can smack people with them (in his true form of course ) it be like getting hit by a baseball.

Catch can feel with them and in a way has given him a 6th since, it more like a funny feeling he sometimes would get, though he doesn't know what it means, it usually just makes him feel Anxious like something going to happen.

However now that Catch silver blood has awakened his tassels now do more, as a moon blood Catch's Tassels amplify his ability to since other emotions to the extent of even being able to since thumb print emotions, emotions a person has left on something.

Example: say Catch find a well worn book and pick it up, he be able to tell that is wasn't just some book but it belongs to someone who loved it, that this book held Sentimental emotional attachment, and it be possible for Catch to follow this attachment back to who or were it belong.

Ok now here stuff on Dreamcatcher in my Original story.

5) those who know me know I loveee my Easter eggs and symbolism and Catch is full of that, in both Skey and this story.

In my Original story it began with Crimson home been attacked by a An army of mysterious dark creatures led by a black monster who of course was Malice, unknown to him at that time this happened on the day Dreamcatcher turned 400, those who been following along with Skey know the number 4 has a lot of Meanings to it, So for this to just so happen on the day Catch turned 400 was no Coincidence but that not all, in this story Catch was also the 10th Generation from Faithful and Alexandria. The 10th generation, not the 3th or 6th but the 10th, that alone is might Suspicious and what timing.

I'm going to do a little math for you. Take the 0's off of 400 and 10 and then Add them together... 4+1 = 5...

Odd huh? What does it mean? You tell me, but in this story Soledormir didn't begin to stir until the day Dreamcatcher turned 400 and in 5 years the Chaos king would return...* Twilight zone music*

6) Dreamcatcher in my Original story was quite different then the one you all know here on colors, at least his personality. Catch was Originally a detective and is actually what Inspired Von and his personality ( Von just a whole lot more harsher and cold with something's)
Catch was a lot older in my Original story, he was 400 when the story began. The funny thing is Catchy wasn't even the main character, Crimson was, Catch was more like the 2nd in command or you could think of him as the Teacher for Crimson.

Catch was a lot like Omen in Skey in how he pop in do something and then vanish again, he didn't stick around long because Catch in this story knew he was a moonblood and who he was related to, Victoria and Faithful Dreamer.

Catch was also the one who was gathering the members of the group together, he was following Bread crumbs left by his master who trained him, who was Omen ( yes in this version Judas train Catch not Crim ) in finding clues about the kings and their keys.

following the Trail left by Judas led Catch to uncovering many Secret like Oracle, who Omen really was and Faye promise to Judas, what Void is, what did Faye uncover which cost everything and why did he do it, Catch uncover much more but they often led to more darker secrets. His uncovers led Catch to actually follow in Faye footsteps and went head to head with Void at one point, not in Physical combat but a battle wits.

Catch did lead a part of the group when it split to go after two different tasks, he did give the role back to Crimson when Crim was ready again.

7) Dreamer back in the day before colors didn't have a limited on forms they could take, Catch would shift to many different forms depending on the world or Circumstance he was in, but he always favored his human form and he was the Guardian of a human world. He did use a dragon, wolf and wing lion a lot to.

Catch was also a Heavens blade in this story and was both Skilled in Combat and Strategy

Now is the story of a time in my personal life were Dreamcatcher came into been.

(8) I was asked to be the Feature artist at my work for an event, I really didn't want to do it for a few reasons, one I had no intentions on Selling my work, my art back then was my baby's something very deep and Personal to me I couldn't just let them go, it would have been letting go a pace of myself (I'll get in to this later on why) and the other I had Terrible stage fright, to the point I had really bad panic attack in the past, but my boss really needed an artist for the event and it was a big honor so I expected, I had a little less than 3 weeks to get ready, I work on my Pro folios and even spent a week on a Poste sized picture I did Completely by hand with color pencils and it was my best pic at that time. I didn't feel ready but the day had finally came. Me and Some of my kids were on display for all to see, Nubrie, Taylice, Zitan and even Crimson was there, my Nerves were making me sick but I pulled it together because to much of my surprise it wasn't as bad as I thought.

Many of my family and friends show up to Support me, there was a lot of people I didn't even know stopped by to look at what I had and even a few talk with me. I even sold one piece ( even though I had no plans on it, it why I put no price tag ) but I felt obligated, she was the mayor wife and I sold a hand draw picture with two kit foxs she really liked. Overall It was actually a good learning experience and it was a big step in overcoming my stage fright, to this day I'm grateful to my boss who gave me this opportunity.

However I knew it wasn't going to last....I could never fully enjoy myself because I knew my Cinderella story would come to an end, that the entire time the spotlight was on me a storm of jealousy was growing and growing not far away. When the time came to clean up and everyone else went home I knew that when it hit and it did, no sooner did I get into the car I was Torn into, I was told of everything I did wrong and what I should had done, that drawing things from my Imagination would get me nowhere in life...because the only thing that sold was a picture of fox kits nothing from my imagination, The Nail in my coffin was when I was told I could not draw anything from my imagination anymore.

I remember biting the inside of my lip until I could taste my own blood but I did it to keep from crying, or at least keep the person who said those things from seeing me cry, I knew if I were to cry in front of them it would have only been worse, but I did cry when I got home, I cried in my room were no one would hear me.

What was really going on was more then money because selling something wasn't my plan in the first place, I was ripped apart by malice, jealousy, envy, and there own selfishness and Insecurity, I had to keep what happened to myself the things that were said to hurt me.

The words that were said dug deeper then any dagger and those words Poison seeped into my soul, For almost 2 years I was dead inside with art, colorless and bland. sometimes I wanted to draw but those words would come rushing back and Strangle my creativity, I look at my art pad and if I couldn't draw what loved, the things from my imagination then what was the point? My imagination had been my sanctuary from harshest of my life and drawing was my way to explore that safe place, to get lost in a world of fantasy and adventure, were Creatures Rome and heroes save the day but now I couldn't do that, I fell in my Second dark depression of my life, but very few people knew this,
I might had looked happy on the outside but I felt dead Artistically on the inside and art is a part of who I am, so in a way a part of me was dead to...

I'm not even sure what actually happened but one day after helping with a Project I had some left over Paint, my family never had a lot of money and I was Taught not to be wasteful, I couldn't just toss the leftovers away so I took one of my spare Canvases and for the first time in what felt like forever I let my imagination go... with each stroke of my brush a Creature formed on my canvas, it had a blue pelt, gold markings and red mane, clouds flowed from his mane and tail, Pearls were placed on its feet and forehead, and ribbons.

I looked at it and smiled, this was a Creature from my imagination, from my dreams, for so long I thought my creativity and imagination was dead but I then realized what happened, it might had been crush but it wasn't destroyed, it just needed time, I needed to heal and with that something to set the spark of my Passion once again. my world that had been dark for 2 years
now had color again, it had life and it was a great feeling, from that day on I sore I never let art block Strangle my imagination, if it by someone Criticism or by my own, I will never let my imagination die again.

this is how the first Dreamer was made, the Protector, the prince, the hero of my Dreams, the one I call Dreamcatcher.

And from him and how he was made the Dreamer species came into existence. it started as a Wonderful opportunity only to be destroyed by Malice and thought lost, but with time and a little something that others would have tossed out, something Beautiful was made.

Writing this was very hard as it show a window into my personal life and a very Sensitive part of it but the reason why I told you this is now you all know why Dreamcatcher is one of my favorite character, and that maybe our ( my and Catch ) story can be an Incouragement to others.

Art and imagination can be a Beautiful thing, but sometimes can feel like it dead, however all it takes is a small spark of Inspiration to rekindle the flames one again, so if you find yourself in that dark place were art block has you Bound in chains just remember these chains /can/ be broken so don't give up. :)

It was a great read, I'm glad you got passed the artblock and those who tried to hold you back. Colors and my life wouldn't be the same without seeing your beautiful art, species and worlds.

I have to say, 2 and 8 made me emotional.. I can truthfully say, I’ve never hated Catch to any capacity, he’s such an awesome character, I’m glad you didn’t kill him.

Fact 8, I will fully admit, I started to cry while reading it (honestly, it was something I needed to read today). I go through rough patches all the time, but I can’t imagine going through something like that. I know I don’t know you personally, but I’m so glad you managed to find your love for art again, that you broke free and found /you/ again.

This might seem silly to say given the time that’s probably passed, but I hope you’re happier now, genuinely happier. Playing off what Blood said, I’m here too, and I totally support you, and I have the feeling that will never change. ;)

I'm glad you never killed off Catchy-boi, I get the feeling the RP would've gone downhill after you did that, I know I would've been really shocked :s

I know Catch is in a rough spot right now too, but you and Catch both hang in there, thing's will get better eventually, we'll make Catch great again X3

The other facts are really neat too, learning about what he can do with his tassels was fun, and I love the symbolism you had in the original story you had too XD

Oh my gosh, you're gonna make me cry X'D This post was so emotional and moving to read, thank you so much for sharing your heart and the value behind Catch <3 And Catch has always been a wonderful character, full of thought and love and creativity. Even if he dragged through some rough times, he came out to be a very lovable boy, an icon on Skeys and your gallery. I love your art and characters and am so happy to be able to keep seeing you draw him and others from your amazing creative mind. X'3

that's amazing, shadow, and was great to read! i didnt get /emotional/ unlike everyone else (it seems) but i was moved and im /very glad/ you got your spark back.
