okay, now to the facts!

1) Maurice is from a pretty well known team for dragon slaying (yes there are dragons in my story...). He was with about 7 people who would slay those "evil"dragons and saved multiple places. However, growing bored of the fame he eventually left the group in hopes of a new adventure.
2) Humans are rare. Most species in my stories are like made up species, but humans are pretty hard to find (won't talk much about why just yet ;p). Maurice hasn't had that much interaction w/ humans and there for only goes by how he looks.
3) He is Blake's protector. Basically Blake is also VERY much bored and uhh... accidently ran into Maurice one day. If she were to bring an exciting adventure, he would happily travel with her. However he grows more and more comfortable, making him not seem like a reserved person. He would gladly step in to help her, and we figure that out throughout the story.
4) As i've displayed this lovely man throughout my pieces.. he's almost never smiling. Which makes sense because he was with a group of dragon slayers for a while, and has grown to take things... maybe too seriously. Blake helps him out though, as she's constantly trying to open him up a little. Just don't tell jokes to him... it'll probably go over his head.
5) Uhh, when i first made Maurice, he was REALLY different. The idea of a dragon slayer was the same, but his personality was more.. impulsive. He was a philanderer.. or a flirt(lmao this is hurting meeeeee). And rather than being quiet and stoic, he constantly had something to say, anything to get under people's skin and Blake hated it.
6) He has a big freaking sword. He used this to kill countless dragons. However he can't just have an ordinary hunk of steel to kill and overgrown lizard. It ignites, causes a blue flame to dance around his blade. It'd be best to not agitate him.

7) His hAIIIRRRRR. He's just too lazy to cut his hair lol. but he hates putting it down cuz it gets in the way all the time (this is too relateable). And it doesn't help that it's pretty poofy. So, Blake helps put his hair up into a cute little ponytail.. I mean manly... manly ponytail.
8) He has a horse!!! his name is Maverick. He's an American paint horse. That's his babyyyy. In some ways, his horse does reflect his personality a bit... is it the patterns? Colors? who knows.

Ig that's what happens when you come out of high school having read all those good ol classics, Shakespeare, Greek Roman Tragedies, Mark Twain, Charles Dickins and other misnomer novels. :'D

Re: Yup I think I've finally settled on an odd looking eye color for her. I do quite enjoy the minimal black white and splash of the same red/pink color through out. Help ties in her horn and tail color me thinks.

I think I'll use it to help me expant her story self more than something half about me and her. Might take a bit of time to work on though
