It took a while but Catch finally Woke up, the lights in the room had all came on and the darkness was like it never happened
" Anna?" The red haired prince mound as he rubbed his face with his good hand.

" thank the moons, are you alright Cat?" The little Fairfin asked worried setting down on her Part in his lap.

Catch Mound as he moved to set up but felt the Soreness in his right hand " ouch, that right " he got himself Propped up and rubbed his Bandaged arm " I'm pretty sure I passed out, I don't remember much after the Shard was taken out..." his eyes then widened and he turned his head to look out across the Infirmary " is Fiona alright? Something was happening to her, I remember that!"
" Catch! She fine, the nurse help her get back under control, I'm sure she around here somewhere " Rhianna replied.
" that good, I'm glad someone could help..." Relaxing a little bit Catch look back to his Partner " did I miss anything else when I was out?"

" well, it got super dark in here but just Proofed and is gone now..." Anna stop, her intends twitched Realizing it odd coincidence " it poof the same time you woke up "
Catch look back out across the room again, he rubbed the back of his head " that odd" he made a face " did it have to do with Malice share or something?"

" I'm not exactly sure what happened, it just got really dark and people were freaking out but you were out cold, I could tell you were dreaming about something"

Catch Frowned at that but then thoughbackto what he could remember" its kinda a burr, I think I was talking to Weaver at one point but he looked...he didn't look like himself " he couldn't bring himself to saying Eater knowing he wasn't the same.
Anna tenney dropped, she know what Catch was talking about wasn't his dream, it was when he was so out of it and was calling the Nightmare his friend name without realizing it " what what else do you remember?"

The prince take his hand and rubbed his face " some weird Forest...kids Laughing, I heard singing but it wasn't a song I heard before, I'm pretty sure there was something about Peaches, it's all mixed up, I don't remember much that make sense "

Victoria Narrowed her eyes at Hiiro, she was only Tolerating his rudeness because he was one of the key hunters " You may be one of the chosen but this is my palace " she curdled her lip showing one of her fangs.

The queen did have something else to say to Hiiro " there is a darkness that Surround you Hiiro.... Be wary of Soledormirs claws for you are one his site is on..."

Hiiro just gave Victoria a smug look as she curled her lip at him, he decided to be a butt to her as forced his way passed her, "Yeah? I was just surrounded in darkness a moment ago, I seem pretty alright to me"

He starts down the hall, back to the infirmary, "Soledormir can kiss my derriere, what can he do locked up? Useless boogeyman" he snorts.

Terradream just nods again to Qui and watches her, curious to see what it is she wants to examine. He's silent until he float-walks a little closer, and observes the cape from a short distance. "... If... If I may... W-why is that sticking out to you...?" the ghostly Dreamer asks.

Qui stop before actually touching the cape, she glace over her shoulder at the ghost Dreamer and then look back to the cape " it belonged to him, Victoria's Husband, Faithful Dreamer.... I'm surprised she has this out" she took one set back just to look at the Cape as a whole " she usually has it under lock and key, but she has it out right now...." she smirk know that Terra likly would have a idea of what she was talking about but then a sober look came over the woman face as she explained " we don't talk about him much around here, in Respect for the queen, Faye was killed by Malice and just the mere mention of his name can send the queen into a pool of grief or a fit of rage, its what happens to a Vaseterm when they lose the one their life is bound to "

Eater rubs his arms as he listens to Boreas ramble his thoughts, and only mutters in reply at first, "It's been happening a lot lately, it feels like..." Then, he pauses a moment as the Captain repeats what he said, and something seems to click, "Oh, I meant Weaver's house, I took her to Weaver's place for the night... But yeah, we talked about my former self, she gets confused because she's just a kid, and she was really close to Weaver, so I had to explain some things to her about how he's dead and not coming back..." the Nightmare quietly replies, looking almost uncomfortable now as he mumbles, "I don't know what else there could be though..."

It's a wild guess, only a hunch... But I think the things you're reacting to... They seem to have to do with Weaver.
I've also noticed, you've referred to things that were Weaver's as if they were yours... Like his house, for example..."

"...Wait, again?!" Fiona's eyes widened a little, but when she saw that Alexandrea's barrier was cracking, she took her chance to make a move.
...Though, Shockwave was heavy, which made it hard to move quickly from a still-standing position.

The Elemental lugged her sword off of Alex's barrier and hopped to the ground positioning herself diagonally from the shifter. Then she aimed to knock Alex off her feet with a sweep of her leg.

Alexandrea watched Fiona move, when the elemental went to knock Alex off her feet, it was when Alex's brain shut off all thought process.

"Uh what?" Alexandrea was never good at processing combat moves, she usually tried to block it with a barrier, but she was currently trying to repair hers... Next thing she knew, her legs were out from under her and she squeaked as her barrier shattered and she was face first in the muddy earth.

She threw her hands up in the air, "I'm not a good fighter" she lifts her head, giggling, "That was awesome Fiona! You hit really hard!"

The Dreamer girl almost feels some of her hopes being dashed by this, though she's still horribly torn on what to think and feel. Part of her would like to believe that Eater's turning back into Weaver somehow, especially after talking with Terra... but isn't that too good to be true? Terra's always had trouble separating Nightmares from the Dreamers anyway after what happened to his father... Purity sighs and drops her hands to the side, but nods her head with a sad expression, and admits, "That could be it... It would make more sense than him turning into Weaver... It just makes it so much harder--it was already painful seeing him with Weaver's face and clothes, and then hearing him talk... a-and the way he screamed... And now he's acting like him, and I know he can't be Weaver..."

Eira gave Purity a sympathetic look, noticing how she became downcast at that. "That shouldn't mean you should give up hope on him. There has to be a way to bring him back.... For now, just keep your guard up. Void could be using Eater to gain your trust, then strike at you," the griffin warned

While her head was down, Crystal didn’t notice many of Crimsons expressions, but she could sense the rises and falls of his emotions while she spoke. She chewed at her lip while listening to the shifter talk, knowing he understood what the situation was like, “I don’t know why he would either...” Crystal got quiet, she knew that her case was different, she knew she had been a part of a trade, but she wasn’t sure about everyone else’s from her world, or why the Ruler would do those kinds of things. What Crimson mentioned about power and fear did make sense... But whatever the true reason was, Crystal was sure she’d never actually know.

As Crimson suggested him helping her and her world after their current quest was over, Crystal looked at him, “Help my world..?” She couldn’t believe what she heard.. Not because she thought he wouldn’t care, or that he wouldn’t do something to help others, but because it was obvious he had so much on his own plate, so much he was having to deal with at the moment, it simply surprised her that the thought had crossed his mind. But maybe it was a surprise because the thought had never truly crossed hers... She always believed there was no way to help her home.. “Crimson, that’s.. that’s sweet of you.. And I appreciate the offer, but, I don’t think it can be helped..” She blinked, forcing back a couple tears that threatened to fall, and smiled a little, “I would love to save what’s left of my home, don’t get me wrong, I’m just not sure there is a way. And if by some chance there is, it certainly doesn’t have to be one of your fights too.. You've been through so much as it is.”

Crimson listen Quietly to Crystal, in hearing the her tone and seen just how Sensitive this was to her, it only made the prince want to help more, he knew all to well about losing a home and the pain that came with that.

Or at least the people we can? your doing that for this realm...I know I done some bad things..." he added in a Whisper " evil things" know all what he had done in his past and more recently in the death of Mina" and I get why you wouldn't want me trying, I been though hell and I know I'm a Screw up, but I want to do something right for a change..." it was an old magic one he could barely use but he knew he had it. He try to remember all he had learned so far about Patients and Compassion and soon his Blue flames Changed into White fire, Crimson slowly open his palm and in it was a small dragon made of white fire.

The price open his eye, there was a slight glow to as he used his magic, the small dragon flew up from his hand in a wisp of White fire that danced in the air before going up to the girl " if you want to save your world, I want to save it with /you/.... " it was more then him wanting to right the wrong of his life, he knew what he did and would expect the cost of his actions, but what he wanted was to change for the better, to be someone who at least Try, he wanted to try because of his feelings for Crystal.

The little flame dragon moved to touch the girl, it wouldn't burn but would have a Soothing warmth to it, it held the prince Compassion for the girl, this was the best Crimson could do seen he couldn't touch Crystal himself, if he could, he would be hugging her right now " I didn't know what hope was until I met you...so if there a way, I know /we/ can find it." Crimson smiled at the girl he loved

Nora frowns at Blue, she didn't like giving any dark creatures a chance but also knew Crimson wasn't fully Consumed by corruption yet.

Though, a flattered grin came across the Elemental's face as she was complimented, "Oh, hahah... Thanks! You've got a pretty awesome barrier, too! I had to put a lot into that to even crack it!
...Here, lemme help ya up."
She wasted no time in reaching down and offering her hand, right in the middle of what she was saying,
"...I noticed you could move it around and repair it... Can you do other things with your barriers, too?"

I just find it odd... Most Nightmares despise resembling their former selves--but you seem to have no trouble saying things like that yourself.
You also have odd reactions to things he would've cared about; he was close to Boo, close to Terradream... and I imagine the school held importance to him, too--the place where people are trained to become 'heroes and fight monsters,' as you put it."
The Captain shrugged, "Like I said, just a hunch."

" Perhaps " Osiris replied " your brother however also has his limits on what he can say or do... his owner is a harsh one..."

Terradream continues being quiet for a little bit, but then he answers, "Uh... Well, I guess it wouldn't be too bad for other people, I n-never get hungry or tired, and I can go through walls... It's horrible f-for me though, because I can't feel things, I can't touch people, so when disaster strikes, I'm useless... I'm able to pick up and move some objects with my magic, though, n-nothing too heavy..." he explains, then adds, "I've... Never really seen much of ghosts either, it's one of those things, you'll hear and read stories about them or see them in games, but ghosts aren't something you just... See..."

"I just wasn't paying attention, that's all!" Eater snaps back, instinctively curling his lip in disgust, "I /do/ hate my former self, there's just a lot on my mind and I don't pay attention to everything I do and say I guess! Weaver's DEAD, and I am NOT him!!"

... Although thinking about Weaver being dead reminds him of what the Dreamer said in the crystal heart of Void... Eater thought he killed him when he took over his body, but clearly that wasn't the case... How can he be sure he really killed him...? //No, I made it explode, explosions kill things, he's dead for sure... Maybe Void just used some weird dark magic on me when I was there and I didn't realize it...//

"Alright, I get it. Chill out." Boreas said sternly, holding his hands up in front of him. //That's a normal Nightmare reaction... So, he's not /completely/ wacky... There's just a lot about him that's strange... And strangely similar to someone else...//
"I'm just trying to better understand this 'sickness' of yours... I've never heard of a Nightmare getting sick before, and I've never seen one act the way you do..."

Fiona listened to Alex's explanation on her barriers, her eyes glittering with awe as she wondered how it all worked. "That's SO COOL!
Sure I don't mind! I wanna see your favorite thing! Hit me with all you've got!" The Elemental exclaimed, ready to use Shockwave to defend herself.
...If she could. She didn't really know what she was about to defend herself from.

Alexandrea felt a little nervous, she didn't want to hurt Fiona, but the Elemental gave her permission...

Orbs of light started to appear on her, going down both arms and hovering lightly over her skin. Her hair started to change to a blinding white and with a clap of her hands, the world around them became blindingly white as the orbs exploded, like a flashbang, hiding Alex in the light.

She then shifted to her phoenix form, her feathers all white as snow, she moved quickly and knocked Fiona down, then planted her foot on the Elemental, trying to pierce her with her large talons.

All while, feeling incredibly guilty...

Victoria had a Serious explosion on her face " you would be wise to tread carefully Hiiro, Soledormir may be in prison but that does not mean his Influence can not reach you... I have been watching the Candidates and have seen this claws working his way through the group without any one of you realize it..." but Hiiro was already gone and her words would have fallen on close ears anyway.

The queen left the bathroom and when down the hallway in the opposite direction that Hiiro had gone

Hiiro had heard what Victoria said, but he didn't waste breath responding, he just headed back into the infirmary. To his bed, and laid down in it.

He rested Boo on his chest and then closed his eyes, to go back to sleep.

"Uh... Well..." Terradream mumbles, quickly debating on what he should tell Qui, and decides to go for what he thinks would be the option to make her not ask more questions, "I-I'm not entirely sure, my guess is it's something to do with the Keys and Keyhunters? ... But, then again, other members of the g-group have been killed, and they haven't come back..." That's something he himself hadn't thought much about either... "... But, yeah, we believe we turn into stars when we die..."
... And then he gets quiet again. //What's she looking at...? That's the Queen's, right? I get the feeling Her Highness would not appreciate someone going through her things...// Despite thinking this, he's curious about what Qui is reading, too, though he's not going to just go over there and read it himself.

Dreameater backs off of his aggression when Boreas tells him to chill out again and breathes out a sigh, momentarily putting his hand to the side of his head as if he has a headache before looking anxious again. "Yeah, yeah, well was that all of your questions? Or are you done? We didn't come here to talk about how I'm sick with something..." the young Nightmare says.

In overhearing the conversation and making her own assumptions Dreamwaker had been discreetly backing away from two, she really didn't like where the conversation was going and just wanted to get make as much distance between the captain and the young Nightmare...

Waker had made her way quite a ways down the alleyway and had herself stuck behind a dumpster, the ancient Nightmare had her head peeking out just to keep an eye on Boreas and Eater // HE REALLY SICK! // Her mind was in a flurry on Eater condition and her worries was if he was contagious...

Boreas thought for a while, but eventually glanced over to where Waker was... And only saw her head peeking out from behind a dumpster quite a ways away.
"...Eh... I've got plenty more, but if I kept going, we'd be sitting here all day. I think you should continue what we came here for..." He said, looking back to Eater and nodding his head towards the Ancient in hiding.
"I'll just keep adding to my mental list." The Captain muttered.

Fiona watched Alex closely... Waiting for whatever was about to happen...
...And that was partially what put her at even more of a disadvantage, as the phoenix shapeshifter clapped her hands and practically became a living flashbang.
"WhaaAA--BRIGHT LIGHTS!!" The Elemental shouted, trying to reorient herself. She held Shockwave in front of her defensively, but she had no clue where Alex was coming at her from, which would've made it easy to knock her down.

"Oof!" She felt an impact at her side that threw her into the mud, then felt the phoenix's talons digging into her. "I was not expecting /that!/" She let out a pained grunt, then started trying to squirm out of Alex's grip, hoping the mud might help her slip away.

Alexandrea's crest stood on end, she could see the Elemental clear as day through the light she was continuously pouring out, she let the Elemental squirm away. But made sure she at least nicked Fiona's arm good.

She backed off after, letting her feathers dim to their regular midnight black, her eyes and gems returning to normal as well. She stood balanced on one foot. Watching worriedly

Anna tapped her chin with her paw " that kinda weird but dreams can be weird " she thinks out loud but she knew things were a lot different with her partner now then because this Quest started." do you think it was just a dream or something else like those visions?"

Catch frowns when / vision/ got Mentioned even though Blue help him out in understand them a little more he still didn't like them, nor felt he could get the handle on them any time soon. " I'm not sure...maybe? It felt different but at the same time...I'm just not sure Anna"

" maybe you can find someone here who knows more about dream stuff and vision?" The Fairfin said hopeful

" maybe, Blue help me out with visions but I don't know about dreams... I guess I could ask Eater? Though I don't think having two Nightmare in my head would be a good idea..." he thinks out loud and then thought about when they first came to the silver Spears palace and what the Queen said "... well...i guess i could always talk with Queen? She...well it still hard to wrap my head around that I'm Related to her and she what? Thousands of years old? She was the one I kept seeing in my visions, the one that was Alexandria..." Catch got quite after saying that, it had been a while since he actually had time to think back to those visions, a part of him didn't like to, they had brought nothing but pain and confusion but know he was at least understanding what Visions were and maybe he could finally get some answers to why he had been watching the life of his Ancestors.

However his question could Wait, he needed rest and someone walked into the Infirmary that got his attention, he watch Hiiro walk over to an empty bed across the room and lay down // he does look like he got into a fight....I can only imagine what Crimson looks like...// he grimaced at the thought, he didn't know Crimson much other than he hang out with Crystal and then just the other morning blow up and killed Mina, but Hiiro, Catch knew a lot more about and yet he felt he didn't know anything about him.

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!" Waker snapped back at the young Nightmare " YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE! VOID COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO YOU! " The Ancient shouted in reply, and it was true, they didn't really know what was going on or for what reason...

after her small terrified rant, the Frost Nightmare move her book and look down at it... Waker was quiet for a moment, the Nightmare didn't believe she found anything of much help in it but she didn't read all of it //... maybe there more in the back?//the ancient Nightmare open the book again and started to flip through the pages to the last chapters, her teal slit eyes scan the writings for anything useful, at first nothing seen to stay out like 'evil plan' material until a list of names pop up all involving Dreameaters // why dose my book have a list with his name in it?...// She was puzzled at first but as Waker continue to go over the page she soon realized a horrifying thing...

Wakers eyes widened so big with horror it didn't seem possible, letting out a terrified blood curdling scream the ancient Frost Nightmare chucked her book at Eater face

Hiiro wasn't paying any attention to anything happening around him, he could feel sleep tugging at him. He was letting it take him, now that Boo was out like a light, he could finally rest and was taking full advantage of it.

He moved one arm under his head, like a pillow, and the other rested on Boo's back.

Crystal got very still when Crimson said he wanted to make it his fight... One part of her was confused as to why he would want to, but the other part of her knew better.

She watched him closely and quietly, not sure on what to say or how to respond. She tilted her head a bit as Crimson closed his eyes and hand, not quite understanding what it was for, but when said hand started glowing, she realized he was trying to do something and became curious as to what he was attempting.

The girl listened intently to what he said next.. It wasn’t that she didn’t want him to try, because to Crystal it didn’t matter that he wasn’t a traditional “hero” or that he had messed up in the past, she simply didn’t want her burdens to also be someone else’s, but it was obvious as he spoke that Crimson didn’t see it as such, and something about that took some weight off the girls shoulders.

When Crimson opened his hand, Crystals eyes widened slightly at the sight of the little white fire dragon and she took in a small breath. It was.. surprising and also beautiful. Her eyes followed it as it left the shifters hand and she watched it fly above them with fascination, “What is this..?” She paused when it came down to touch her, and she let it do so without hesitation.

Upon feeling the warmth and love it carried, it was her turn to close her eyes, letting those feelings consume her. The sadness melted off her face, replaced with a more content, reassured expression. When she opened her eyes again, they were full of tears, but the good kind, and she managed to return Crimsons smile.

She felt a little silly getting this emotional, but she couldn’t help it. The whole topic of home was still difficult to think and talk about, and to have someone tell her they wanted to help and believed they could find a way to save what was left if it, added another layer of emotions she didn’t know how to sort through, even if they were good ones.

Hearing everything the shifter said made her feel more hopeful.. like there was a chance, even if the smallest, that /something/ could be done.. She was grateful she had Crimson in her life. And not just for this, but also for so many other reasons too..

She shook her head a little, “Goodness.. I don’t know what to say..” she watched him for a moment before trying to finish, “I just... That means a lot, thank you.” Crystal wasn’t good with words, but she felt that with Crimson, she didn’t have to be.

It was then that she heard the door to the room open..

Boreas went back to listening to the two Nightmares for a moment, but when everything went silent for a while, he glanced up, looking at Eater first, then to Waker. The icy Elemental watched her carefully as she read...
...Only to witness her wild reaction as she shrieked and pitched the book at Eater's face. The Captain instinctively reacted, reaching out with his left hand and nailing the flying novel with a small blast of ice magic, knocking it back and freezing it against the wall. The ice spread across the concrete wall, sprawling out in all directions lightning-fast, but once Boreas knew the 'threat' was neutralized, the frost stopped in its tracks...

...He had overcompensated a bit for the size of the book, and because of that, it was pretty likely that just a touch of ice magic could've blown into Eater's face... Or onto his hat.

Boreas grimaced a little, "Ah... That was cutting it close. Sorry about that."
Then he turned to Waker, wondering what exactly she'd read to make her react that way...
...But instead of asking right then, he just said, "...Hey. Got anything else you want to throw? Or are you done?"

Fiona eventually scrambled away from Alex and to her feet, her eyes re-adjusting as the light around her dimmed. Soon, she started chuckling, "Wow, you got me good with that one! Oooh, you're back in your phoenix form, too!" She sheathed her sword momentarily, taking her free hand and feeling the cut in her arm from the phoenix's talons, "With cool tricks like that, I think you could be great at fighting! Just--BOOM--Now you can't see!"

She could /feel/ the mud caked all over her, but she still had to glance down at herself to double-check. It just made her laugh a little more, "And check it out--now we're /both/ muddy!" The Elemental threw her arms into the air, sending a bit of mud flying off... She tried to ignore the pain from the nick in her arm.

Alexandrea just stood there, silent and baffled by Fiona's reaction, //She's not mad or retaliating... weird// she tips her head as far as she can to one side.

"You're quite odd" She speaks honestly, "But I like you" she coos happily, "I'm glad we're friends, now let me show you what I wanted to really do... Just needed you injured first"

She spreads out her wings, curling them towards Fiona, the inside of them turns white and starts to glow, it was much more gentle on the eyes now as a barrier formed around Fiona. In the shape of a dome and gold in coloration. Intricate details were still on the barrier.

"My healing abilities and barriers are better and more focused in this form" The phoenix says, "Because this is my most natural one, this is the one I was born in" Fiona would feel the pain ebbing away as her wound closed up.

" because I'm a Paradise Phoenix my lady, in are true form would be considered small in comparison to creatures like the Vaseterm but as you can see my High in this form I Exceed that of a normal Vaseterm, that is simply because you can not judge on appearance in one form to be the same as the other... there are many species who are not so different than my kind when it comes to high, many dragons have Considerable large forms and yet some have a form that is no bigger than a human, so when taken that into Consideration my high is not so out of the ordinary "Osiris reply simply to the young filly, he began to Search through the bookshelves for what he wanted, he frowns a little // children can never put things away in the proper manner. // he took a few books out and just out of Sheer habit rearrange them back into place.
The butler final found a few of the books he was looking for and was taken them off the shelf

Ai wasn't really grasping what Osiris was saying, to her, it was mindless blabber about heights. "You're as tall as Isaac!" she grins, "I like Isaac, he got horse feets and legs and he soo tall" she then noticed Osiris had weird legs too.

But he wore pants and shoes, the little filly walked over to the phoenix as he was picking out books, she crouched down and took his pant leg, lifting it up to see what his legs really looked like.

Eater doesn't say anything in reply to Waker's accusations, he can't deny that it's the truth...but he still doesn't think it's contagious seeing as Waker's still fine after getting closer earlier...

But when she screams and chucks the book at him, his eyes widen too, and he instincively summons his sword to defend himself while Boreas blasts it with ice. Dreameater still doesn't say anything, but does, after a few moments, slowly lowers his sword and looks in Waker's direction. //... What was that all about...?? What's in that book?!// he wonders, briefly noticing the ice magic on the tip of his hat.

To answer Boreas question the ancient Frost nightmare continue to scream as she picked up a trash can with her chains and then Chuck them at Dreameater " YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME!! I WON'T BE USED LIKE THAT!! "she was was screaming and continue to Chuck garbage cans at the young Nightmare

Purity sighs and manages a small smile at Eira's encouragement, and perks her head up a little. "Yeah, I know... I know there's got to be a way, there has to be some way to bring him back, I talked with Terra too and he was telling me about a vision where Weaver had come back, so there's definitely some way to save him, I just need to figure out what I can do... But I'll definitely try to keep my guard up around Eater, I've always been suspicious of him, I'll just try to be even more careful," the Dreamer says. She then breathes out a quiet sigh and adds, "Thanks, Eira, this stuff has been weighing on me since it happened, and I'm glad I got to get it off my chest. But... how about we get back to what we came out here for? We got a little sidetracked there..."

Boreas watched as Waker launched a couple of trashcans at Dreameater. Instead of trying to ice-glue /all of them/ to the wall like he had the book, he hopped off of his seat and summoned up a wall of ice in front of Eater--using his excess, nervous energy to enforce it quicker.
"Hold up! Will you just freeze for a minute?! He's not going to get anywhere near you!" The Captain shouted at the Ancient over the sound of clattering cans. For that moment, he just stood there, but he was absolutely ready to do more if he had to.

Eira nodded, giving an encouraging smile. "That's the spirit." At Purity's question, she furrowed her brows and looked up. "Well, to start, we might want to get out of the rain. This drizzle's going to get worse," she said as she veered closer to the buildings beside them for a bit more shelter.

"Hmmm, that is a good point..." Qui things out loud in reply to the part about other members dying and not coming back. " Victoria told me before that's kinda like a Dreamer heaven, she talk about wanting to go back to the land of dreams to fine Fayes star but Osiris won't let her for her own safety and everyone else here."

"What?! Hang on a moment" After saying this Qui stop and pick up the papers she was reading " huh?... " she flipped though to the next page and was reading it more intently " What?! That dosen't make sense! " the shapeshifter blurred out loud as she counted to read

"Wait, what... I'm odd?" Fiona repeated, an awfully strange, partially insulted look on her face. That look faded when Alex stated that she was happy they were friends, and soon an expression of realization came to replace it, "Ohh, wait, the bright lights EXPLOSION wasn't what you wanted to show me?"

The Elemental looked around at Alexandrea's wings as she curled them towards her, "Ooooh..." She eyed the intricate details as they formed along with the golden, dome-shaped barrier.

"Ohhh, I get it now!" She exclaimed after hearing Alex's explanation. Then she watched the wound on her arm seal up with the magic of the barrier, "Your barriers can heal, too! That's awesome!" Fiona floated to the edge of the barrier and carefully poked it with her non-clawed, gloveless hand, curious what it felt like...

Alexandrea watched Fiona float to the edge of her barrier, it sent a tingling-numb sensation running down the Elemental's arm, similar to when someone lays or sits on a limb too long and it falls asleep.

The phoenix let the barrier dissipate quickly, her wings quivering, "The longer you touch it, the more it would start to hurt you, because it would go straight for your corruption. That numbing sensation would turn to pain quickly"

She folds her wings in and shivers, "Brrrr, it's chilly out with this rain" her feathers puff up, making her look like a large spiky ball. "What can you do, Fiona? Anything other than whacking others with Shockwave?" she asks, her tone light with amusement.

"Mmm," is all Terra replies at first, though he can't help but wonder: //Find his star...? I know Dreamers become stars, but... There's a way to pinpoint whose star is whose...?// Then he just listens to what Qui blurts out and waits, either for her to blurt out more or for her to just explain.

Quickly realizing the answer to his question is "no," Eater instinctively tenses up again when he sees a trash can coming at him and readies himself to block it as best he can with his sword, but Boreas, thankfully, set up some nice defense to block it. //What on earth?!// he thinks, cautiously watching Dreamwaker with a confused expression. "Waker!? Calm down, I'm not going to do anything to you!!"

Fiona quickly pulled her hand back upon the barrier's dissipation. "Oh yeah, that's right..." She grimaced, flexing her fingers and trying to get the tingling sensation out of them. She was finding it rather unnerving, having to be reminded of her corruption so often now.
//...It's better than pretending it isn't there, right...?//

The Elemental looked up to her phoenix friend, then glanced up into the rain, "Yeah, it is... Seems like it's getting worse, too." She muttered, then glanced back to Alex, "Well, other than using a bit of electrical magic with Shockwave when I /really/ need it...
...Not really." She gave a small, forced smile.

"Oh dear" Alexandrea looked up at the sky, her feathers were designed in a way, that the rain just slid off them, onto the ground below

She looked back to the Elemental when she heard what she said, Alex would smile if she could, "Hey I still think that's awesome and I appreciate you not frying me" she chuckles lightheartedly.

"I could use someone as strong as you, helping me in future fights, as I said, I rely on healing and barriers" Alex lowers her head to Fiona, "I am not a warrior, I've tried and failed, to the point it has cost my life before. Fiona, when I use a barrier like the dome or when I'm repairing, I can't move, I have to focus on that task. I need someone to help protect me while I work, someone to cover my back, my blindspots, do you think you could do that? When things inevitably get bad, can you protect me?"

" AHHHH!!! YOU AS THE KING!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! M-Y MY NAME WAS ON THE LIST!! MY NAME!!!" Waker continue to scream and now she was just chucking things wildly anywhere "AHHHHH!!! NO! NO! IM NOT HAVING KIDS!! NO!! " the ancient Nightmare continued her rant completely losing her mind

//Eater as the King of Nightmares, yup, I've heard that before...
But what the heavens is this 'list' she's going on about?//
Boreas thought, occasionally stepping out of the way of the few objects in the flurry that headed towards him. He still made sure to keep his distance.
...Seeing that Waker probably wasn't going to stop anytime soon, he decided he should leave the ice wall up too, at least for that moment...
Then the Ancient brought up the 'kids' part. //Ah. Nightmare babies. Yup, I've heard that one before, too.//
"You do realize we're all against that, right? At least, none of that is going to happen on my watch." He shouted, then glanced to Eater expectantly, hoping he would agree with his first statement.
...And despite knowing there probably wasn't anything they could do but wait out Dreamwaker's rant, the Captain shouted at her again, "You really need to chill!"

"Yeah!! We ALL hate kids!!" Eater shouts back, not quite realizing what he just said in the heat of the moment... He flinches a bit every time Waker chucks something in his direction, but tries to keep as calm as he can, "This is why we have to stop Soledormir!! So that DOESN'T happen! That's why we need your help!! I don't want to have any babies EITHER!!"

Crimson smiled at Crystal, he was truly sincere in what he said and in seeing the girls Tears stuck him deeply but he knew they were not shed tears of sorrow but the good kind of tears." Another thing you show me is, something words aren't necessarily needed to tell something " the red prince bobbed his head and made a goofy face " I'm still working on that part " he tested.

Crimson then nodded his head " your welcome " he was glad they were having this talk, exactly after everything that happened, no matter how chaotic things were somehow with Crystal he could see a brighter future now, something he was grateful for.

The little White flame dragon dance around in the air again and Crimson look up at it, he went to explain Crystal Question " that is a * he made a soft cooand try to Sway himself but couldn't because he was tide to a bed* " he shook his head getting embarrassed about Butchering the Bellezza Language " I guess the simple thing to call it is would be a espritshin or spirit wakes, it's an old magic I Inherited from... my mom..." Crimson got quite after Mentioning his mother, he looked down from his White fire, he bit his lip, for some reason talking about his mother was difficult, he had mixed feelings about her for many reasons " I-Im not a full blood Crystalgem dragon...my mom " he was going to say more when he Noticed Blue come in.

With the new arrivals Crimson lost focus on his positive feelings and his espritshin broke down and vanished into nothing, he looked to Blue, his face was red from embarrassment and he blurted out " what?!"

Fiona smiled back at Alex, "Thanks... Of course I wouldn't fry you! Friends don't do that." She looked awfully serious saying this, but then she chuckled a little along with Alexandrea.

However, with what the phoenix shapeshifter said next, Fiona went silent. Her eyes widened slightly as she listened.
"I... I.... Y-yeah, I can do that! I can definitely do that! When things get crazy, I'll have your back!!"
...She could say that easily, sure... But truthfully, she had no idea whether or not she could really defend Alex...
Or anyone, for that matter. She'd already been questioning that for a while.
...A bit of this showed in her expression as well, though she was trying to keep it under wraps.
"I'll... I'll do my absolute best."

Blue felt immediately awkward walking in on what he did, he could tell he just walked in on something special and he bit his lip with a goofy grin on his face, "Darkness errupted just moments ago, turning the infirmary dark and making Vaseterm eyes turn gold"

He kept his dagger behind his back as he approached, looking over Crimson carefully, he couldn't help but tighten his grip on the dagger's handle.

"I knew it wasn't you, if it was, Crystal would be dead and you'd have terraformed everything again" Blue says to reassure himself, "Lady Crystal" he nods to the human girl, "Could you move away from him please, while Nora checks him out? We have to be certain" he then moves his gaze to the nurse. His look held warning in it, warning her not to take any drastic measures, not until he gave the command to.

Alexandrea could hear the hesitation in Fiona's voice, she could sense the uncertainty, but she coo'd softly and rested her beak gently atop Fiona's head.

"My life is in your hands Fiona, I trust you" Alex says softly, "I'll do my best with defense and healing, keep everyone, keep you, in good condition" she moved her head back.

The phoenix stared at the Elemental, wondering how to go about what she was about to ask, "Would... Would you be willing to give it a shot, soon? I need help.. with something" she frowns nervously, "Something happened the other night..."

It took a moment for Dreamwaker to finally cool off, she was standing taking deep dramatic breaths "... Kids are evil little monsters...I ...I can't believe he make us have babies... Soledormir...he evil " the ancient nightmare said still traumatized by the whole idea of baby Nightmares and her been a mother , Waker shuttered at the thought

Boreas stared at Eater for a moment after his somewhat startling declaration. Obviously, the Captain didn't hate kids, but he knew Nightmares did... At least, Waker did. Eater's case was odd.
"Ah...
...That's close enough." He shrugged, deciding not to go against the purple Nightmare's claim, since it would just complicate things more...
"Yep, no one wants Nightmare babies. Except Soledormir. Because he's /very/ evil." He nodded in agreement.

...Despite not saying anything in response to 'kids being monsters,' he /did/ actually know what it was like to watch after eight kids at once. So maybe, to an extent, he actually agreed with that, too.

"Exactly!! This is why we need your help," Eater declares, putting his left arm forward as he continues, "We're going to need help going up against Soledormir, do you think maybe you could tell the other Ancients about this? If you can? I don't know how many of them you'd be able to get on our side, but I think... what Soledormir plans to do with our species would be enough to at least scare them into considering it, I don't know... Or, at the very least, try and find some information on a world with four blood moons, I think it might be important. Can you do this, Waker?"

Fiona didn't really know what to think about Alex gently placing her beak on top of her head. Her mind was still buzzing with doubts, but at that point... She took it like she was being knighted, or something like that. //I have to work harder... I'm not going to let anyone else die...//

Taking a quiet breath and letting it out, the Elemental stood tall and gave Alex a nod, "I won't let you down."
...That twinge of uncertainty was still there, and it likely wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. //Don't think like that! Just /do better!///
"I know you'll do great, too." She smiled, a little more genuinely this time...
...But once again, her smile soon faded, being replaced with concern. "Huh...? What happened?"

Catch stopped when he got close enough to see the dragon shapeshifter sleeping, he wasn't one to be rude and wake a person up, only if it was needed " we could come back after a while and see if he awake later? " He suggests in a whisper

Anna Landed on her head partner, a worry look crossed her face seen how bad Hiiro looked, she let out a Quiet wine " little brother...he really got beat up... is there anything we could do to help?"

The red prince work his jaw at that, things between him and Hiiro hadn't been going well and Catch was getting to the point he didn't know how to help the shapeshifter but one thing about the Dreamer prince he was Patient and if he even seen a little bit of hope in someone he would hold on to it and at least try to help " Anna, can you do me a favor? Can you see if there any Peaches anywhere? "

" sure thing Brother!" The tigers Fairfin flew off in Search for the Requested item.

Catch then sighed // I rather just come back later, Hiiro a grump as it is let alone getting woke up...but if this works like I think maybe he won't Try to pumble me or pull my tail...// he pushed his lips making a face seen Boo pass out on Hiiro, Catch went to more her and pick her up as carefully as he could with only one good arm, which wasn't easy at all, but he figured that couldn't be Comfortable for either Boo or Hiiro for the little dragon to be sleeping on Hiiros injuries

Alexandrea clicked her beak a few times before saying anything, she looked uncertain, like she regretted bringing it up. But she finally spoke, "I... I was with Malice the other day, we took a nap out in the woods, passed the city..."

"When we woke, it wasn't long before Mal could sense something wrong, it was quiet, something was hunting us" Alex shudders, "Then it happened, a shadowy centipede creature burst from the woods, right for us"

"It didn't matter what we did, no attacks, not even my light magic, seemed to hurt it" Alex lowers her voice, still on edge, "It gave him an order Fiona, it gave Malice a command, to kill me. Now he has no choice, whenever he sees me, he'll try and kill me. He doesn't want to, but he's forced to"

A chill runs down her spine, causing a ripple to pass through her, "I know whatever it was, is connected to Soledormir, it's dark magic and has control over the Nightmare King" Alex looked the Elemental in the eyes, "I have to go back to those woods, I have to know what that thing was, what it's doing there. What if it attacks someone else? If it wasn't for Boreas, I'd have been killed"

Dreamwaker work her jaw, she really didn't want what Soledormirs planned to come true but the Ancients had never worked together before, sure there was times they could pass each other without starting a fight and sometimes two might work together for similar purposes but it usually ended with one stabbing the other in the back but this was something far different than anything that has threatened there existence before" I can see what I can do...the Ancients don't get along well..." Waker glace over at the two " you do know Malice can control lower Nightmares? "

She thought about what the young Nightmare asked last " there a lot of worlds with blood moons Eater but I can see if I can fine something, but what is it that I'm looking for? Like I said there a lot of worlds with blood moons "

Hiiro had only just started to nod off, he was in the inbetween state of asleep and awake, just about to fully lose consciousness. When he felt Boo being moved off of him, the small injures on his skin sending little needles of pain through him.

He jolted awake, seizing Catch's arm in an iron tight grip, he took a few moments to recognize who he was looking at. It only fully clicked when he caught Catch's scent, "Dreamcatcher?" Hiiro frowns, his voice a bit mumbled and tired. "What are you doing?" He growls half heartedly, keeping his grip on the Prince.

Boreas went quiet now, listening to the ongoing conversation. He still didn't have the full scoop on everything, so he left most of the talking to Eater.
It just emphasized the fact that he didn't know everything when Waker mentioned Malice's ability to control other Nightmares.
But all the Captain said for that moment was, "Hm..."
//I suppose that makes sense. The King controls the rest.
...That /could/ be beneficial... But it could also be a disaster...// He thought about what he'd seen of the Nightmare King.

He glanced to Eater once Waker asked her questions.

Eater sighs and nods his head at Waker, then, dispelling his sword, crossing his arms again, and looking down, he says, "Yeah, I know he can... He almost took control of me once in Howaito, but I was able to resist it... That was even before I got some of his power," but then he changes the topic a little, wanting to stay on what's important at the moment, and looks back to the Ancient to continue: "As proof of what Soledormir's planning, you could take the book, couldn't you? ... I mean, it's frozen to the wall, but surely it's still readable if we just get it out...? I still think just telling them about Nightmare babies would be enough to rally them against Soledormir. Uhh, as for the blood moons, could you try finding one with four moons, to be exact? No more, no less, just four, like the Land of Dreams? Crimson told me that's where Void took him, that's where whatever corrupted him happened, and when we were talking about Chaos and Order magic, he got me thinking... If Order comes from the four moon deities in the Land of Dreams, where does Chaos come from? ... I've got a hunch that there might be blood moon deities..."

" Huhhhhh?!!" Qui holds out the paper and started at what she had read " Sooo, Whatttt! Malice got a heart?... But..but doesn't make sense! " he flipped the paper to the next page " yeah, Malice said something like that last night, it's way Blue didn't kill him, that and he claimed he loved Alexandrea but he a Nightmare so you can't really trust that but lady Victoria notes - HUH!!-She says Soledormir has done something vile by giving Malice a heart! "

Osiris look down at the little filly " Pardon me my lady, but that is the Cuff of my pants you are pulling on"

"... How would Soledormir giving Malice a-a heart be something vile...?" Terra quietly asks, watching Qui intently.

Ai kept trying to see what Osiris's legs looked like, tugging on his pantleg cuff, "I know!" she answers, she knew what she was tugging on. "I wanna see your feet too!"

Dreamcatcher flinched getting grabbed but he did his best to hold on to Boo " ah, hey Hiiro" he made a goofy Nervous smile before answering " well I thought I just moved Boo to her own bed so you both could sleep more Comfortably...I uh, didn't mean to wake you up, sorry about that "

Fiona watched as Alex's expression shifted, then listened as she spoke. Sort of an 'oh' moment passing across her face as she put together why Alex had looked like she hadn't wanted to bring it up.

She was definitely concerned now--for multiple reasons, but she kept listening for the time being. Her expression looked more and more intense as Alexandrea went on.

"What the heck...? There's a thing like THAT in the forest?!" She started, her eyes wide, "It /commanded/ the /King of Nightmares?!/ Yeah, that kinda /screams/ Soledormir...
...I still don't know how to feel about you and Malice, but we sure as heck can't have him going around trying to /KILL YOU!/"
The Elemental paused, "You wanna go back in there, even after all of that? Like, yeah, I wanna know WHAT THE HECK's going on too! And we should DO something about it, so it doesn't hurt anyone else... But that's just it! What would we DO if we ran into that thing?!"

Waker glace over to the frozen book, her ears pin back, she didn't like that they were still talking about babies but knew no other Nightmare would either " ick...fine, I don't want to Touch This that thing again but seeing that might get the others to listen, but these are Ancients we're talking about, finding them will not be easy, Tom might, finding him is just following the trail of devastation he leaves but the others won't be... Tainted you don't find, she finds you but I'm sure once word get out, she will show herself "

The frost Nightmare spine began to make the clicking noise with what Eater said last, " blood moon deities?... that..." for some reason that scared the Ancients, she nodded her head " I'll see what I can find but I hope your wrong Eater "

Hiiro curled his lip, flashing his fangs, "She was just fine with me, the only thing making me uncomfortable, is everyone constantly waking me up!" he snaps, his grip tightening even further on Catch's arm.

Until he noticed Catch's other arm was injured, he loosened his grip, only enough for the Dreamer to not feel pain, "What happened to you?"

Boreas just listened, hearing confirmation that Malice could indeed control other Nightmares... Or, rather, adding another witness to that fact.
He wasn't about to forget the fact that Eater had gotten some of Malice's power, either, but he stayed silent and let the conversation go on.

Out of everything, Eater's hunch, in particular, caught his attention. //...Blood moon deities... To rival the deities of the Land of Dreams? Wonder what gave him that idea...//

He glanced to Waker, noticing her reaction to Eater's theory as well. //...And what's making her so nervous about that...?//

After all of that, the icy Elemental briefly glanced to the book, frozen to the wall. "...Welp. I can defrost your evidence if you want." He offered with a shrug.
He wasn't going to make any sudden movements at that moment, since he already knew the tension he was causing by just... /Being there./

//A lot of people either don't know how to feel about me and him... Or they do know// Alexandrea couldn't help but sigh deeply.

"I don't know what we'd do! But we /have/ to do something!" Alexandrea fidgets nervously, "I don't want Mal to be under its control anymore, I don't want him to die because of this creature's command! And! I also don't want anyone else hurt!"

"It's okay if I die! I can be reborn! I'm a phoenix after all" Alex wasn't going to mention she only had three lives left, it was more than others who were only granted one life, "We have to figure things out!" she grinds her beak as she starts to think.

"Maybe we should talk to Victoria before going anywhere? She's old and experienced, she may know how to deal with this thing, maybe she can give us a weapon to fight it!"

Eater nods his head as Waker explains about the other Ancients, and then makes her comments about his hunch. "Yeah, I hope I'm wrong too, but we're going up against things people don't even know exist anymore, I'd rather be safe than sorry..."

When Boreas offers to thaw out the book pasted to the wall, Eater goes to step out of the way of both him and the Ancient, and gives Dreamwaker a rather concerned look. "Waker, you make sure you're careful out there, Just from the fact that Void has /books/ on everyone, Soledormir's lackeys seem to know a lot more about us than we do them. I get the feeling there'll be plenty of his minions after you, so don't you dare underestimate anything, even if you are a super scary Ancient Nightmare, alright? I'll stick with the Keyhunters and try to find as much information as I can, too."

Qui look over to Terra and then back to the papers " I'm not sure....she just keep repeating over and over how vile it is..." she bite her lips with the more she was reading, she could tell the Queen was very much mad at this "there some not so nice comments about Alex to.... I never seen the Queen so worked up in her writing before... she keeps asking 'why' why would she love a creature like him?' She ask if that what Soledormir plan was?' She said this isn't going to stop her from killing Malice' she oh my...." Qui took a step back after reading what was next and then it all made sense " I...I...I don't believe it, Malice was Faithful Dreamer..." a wave of emotion washed over Qui, she now knew why Victoria hated Malice so much and yet she wasn't able to kill him, she couldn't kill the man she loved even though Malice was just an empty shell.

"I need to talk with Osiris!" Qui put down the paper and took off to the door, she stopped right after going though the doorway and remember she wasn't alone in the room, she pop her head back in the room and waved for Terradream to come before talking off again

To Alex's first statements, Fiona nodded, "Same here! We've gotta do something about that... I'm not about to let Malice hurt you, or that thing hurt anyone else."

...But then the Elemental looked rather shocked, "Whoa, WHOA! I don't care if you're a phoenix, you're not gonna die! Not with me having your back!!" She declared with utmost sincerity. "...But we should /definitely/ figure stuff out before going out there. I... don't think I've ever fought a thing that's unaffected by attacks." She hesitantly admitted.

Fiona went silent briefly at Alex's suggestion, frowning slightly, "...I mean... I think you should apologize to her, first. We could /maybe/ ask and see if she knows anything about a thing like that... But we should still show some respect. She /is/ the queen of this place."

Terra's eyes widen only a little bit when Qui reveals who Malice is, and he briefly thinks, //Wait... Isn't Catcher related to Faithful? That would mean he's related to Malice...// before turning and silently following Qui out the room.

Osiris rises his eyebrow at the little girl still tugging on his pants leg " very well my lady, I will satisfy your curiosity just this /one/ time " he mumbled, he patted Ai on the head so she stop.

The shapeshifter then went over to a setting Area, he set his books down on a like table and then took a set himself in one of the Sofas, the Phoenix then started to untie one of his shoes " I do not see what is the fashion with my feet you children have "

Alexandrea was trembling, her mind scattered with worries and terrible, potential, possible outcomes. She nodded to Fiona, "Of course I'm going to apologize! I didn't forget!"

She shifted back to her human form, rubbing her back, "All this shifting is causing me back pain, aaah" she makes a face, "Having that all new, four legged, form is messing me up something fierce"

"Of course I'll show respect too, if she doesn't try and /immediately/ lop my head off" Alex works her jaw, "Should we go find her now? Or later?....or never..." she whispered the last bit to herself.

Dreamwaker gave the young Nightmare a glare " I haven't lived this long by being stupid!"she snapped but the Ancient went quite, she knew Void had been using her but now that she knows who he was, she wasn't going to be his Pawn anymore "... I don't know what Voids up to but I plan on living a lot longer "

Ai squealed happily when Osiris gave into her curiousity. She followed him eagerly over to the sitting area, watching him untie his shoe.

Taking Eater stepping out of his way as a 'yes,' Boreas cautiously made his way over to the book-sicle. He poked the ice with one finger, using his magic to dispel the ice, then he caught the book before it knocked him over the noggin.

As much as he would've liked to get more information on one of the infamous Ancients, he knew that shouldn't be his priority at that moment.

He let out a sigh, then held out the book, offering it to whoever was willing to take it right then. "Alright. Here."

Eater sighs when Waker glares and snaps at him, tapping his fingers on his crossed arms, "I know, I know..." he mumbles back, waiting for Waker to take her own book back, "I... think that wraps up everything we needed to talk about, right? Unless you've got something else, Waker?"

Catch grimaces at Hiiro gripping his arm, he didn't try to pull away yet and much to his relief the shapeshifter Loosened his grip, he didn't realize that he had been holding his breath and he let it out " my arm?" He made a Nervous face " I just got a Shard from Malice removed from the Pearl on my hand... I found out that why it hasn't been healing..."
// ah crud , well I'm here so might as well ask... I hope Anna show up if things get sour but maybe I'm overreacting....// the Dreamer prince nodded at Hiiro " how about you? Those cuts look pretty bad "

Hiiro narrowed his eyes, "A shard of Malice's?" he finally lets go of Catch, sitting up and then swinging his legs off the side, finally realizing he wasn't getting anymore sleep anytime soon.

His gaze didn't soften, he still held a hard stare for Catch, "These are nothing, I've had worse" but it was clear from how he sounded, something wasn't right, his breathing had a slight rasp to it. The most noticeable wounds on him, were on his ribs, from Eater's chains.

Osiris removed his shoes and sock in a Elegant manner. He then put down his bare foot on the floor, his feet were an odd mixture between something that looked like a bird and human feet, they were partially scale and he only had 4 toes in a row and his 5th was much higher up on his foot and on the back " satisfied my lady?" He asks wiggling his toes

Dreamwaker rock her jaw, she didn't want to go anywhere near Eater after reading what was in that book but in order to prevent that from happening she needed that book back.

The ancient nightmare timidly used one of her chains to take the book from Boreas " who would have thought I be helping a captain " she mumbled taking the book, Waker then retracted her chain quickly with the book in tow

Dreamwaker then turned to Dreameater, her nostrils flared as she paw the ground " no, I think that enough talking, I have work to do and so do you "
the ancient Nightmare then turned and started to walk away, Shadows began to consume her as she was going to teleport to a different world...but something didn't work right, the Nightmare was surrounded in a fog like shadow but usually a nightmare would have vanished by now "WHAT THE HECK?! I CANT SHADOW JUMP OUT OF HERE?!!" before she could get any kind of explanation she took off towards the closest shadow and jump to it, but instead of being consumed by The Shadow she hit the wall straight on.
Waker stumbled back shaking her head letting out a irritated grunt "WHAT THE HECK!! " she then turned her head to the two men in the Alleyway her eyes were black with anger " WHAT TYPE OF JOKE IS THIS ?! BECAUSE ITS NOT FUNNY!"

Ai hopped up and down excitedly when she finally got to see his feet, she didn't know why she was so excited to see someone's feet, but she was.

"Your feet are so cool!" Ai was bursting with excitement, "I wish I had cool bird-people-horse feet!" she squeals with pure delight and keeps hopping up and down.

(It's always a great contrast to what else is currently happening xD)

Fiona looked a bit concerned, seeing Alex in pain after shifting. "I didn't think shifting hurt, but I guess having a new form all of the sudden could cause... Lots of things...?" She mumbled to herself, wondering about that for a second.

"...She's not gonna lop your head off--but we should /probably/ make sure we think through what we do..." The Elemental muttered, thinking about how this might go, herself. She was going to make sure she'd be ready for anything. She stepped over to Alex, gently patting her on the back, "...I don't think putting it off is really good for anyone, though. Especially since we all kinda need each other's help..."

Alexandrea barely held back a whine, she reaaally didn't want to talk to Victoria, ever. She could feel her heart racing, like it was threatening to burst from her chest, she was afraid.

"I know" Alex squeaks out, "We should go seek her out... slowly! And think about how to start it off, how we should greet her properly, she is a Queen after all"

Boreas just shrugged at Waker's mumbles, "Believe me, I never thought I'd see this day, either."

Then he folded his arms and watched as the Ancient turned to leave.
...But couldn't pull off the jump for some reason.
He was puzzled at what he was seeing. That is, until Waker slammed into a wall with her attempts--Boreas let out a snort, trying to hold back a bit of laughter. It would've been easy for Eater to see, but once Waker turned around, the Elemental tried to go back to his neutral, yet on-guard state, clearing his throat as he did so.

"Yup, right, not funny in the slightest...
...So you can't jump out of here, huh?" The Captain thought about it for a moment, "...It could be due to the /complete/ lack of magic in this Realm... If that's the case... You're stuck here until we find another way out." He frowned.

Eater listens quietly as Waker and Boreas make their small talk at first, but he does smirk faintly when they bring up how they never expected to work together... //I get to work with a Captain...! I can't wait to see him in action! Aw man that's so cool...!//

Then he watches as Waker rams into the wall and notices how Boreas snorts at her, but his smirk quickly fades upon feeling the anger rolling off of her. "Oh... I didn't think about that..." Eater mumbles after Boreas explains his thoughts on the matter, and grimaces as he thinks about it, "The only place with magic here is inside the barrier around the Silver Spears palace... Where all the Vaseterm and other candidates are... But that would be like walking you into Howaito in your true form... Uh, would portal stones maybe work?"

Crystal listened curiously as Crimson tried to explain the little fire dragon flying around them. She smiled a little more at the coo sound he made, she didn’t know he butchered the language because she didn’t know it, but it seemed interesting. The girl nodded at what he called it in the way she could understand and her eyebrow raised slightly as he brought up his mom. She didn’t question him about her though, as she could see the indistinct look on his face..

Crystal started thinking when Crimson said he wasn’t a full Crystalgem dragon, she wondered if that was the reason for his four wings, but she didn’t get the chance to ask.
She was still a little scattered from before, but she turned her head and looked towards the door. She studied Blue and the nurse as they came in. She could tell Blue was hiding something behind himself, and while she wasn’t going to say anything about it, she was watching him closely.

“Darkness..?” She repeats quietly and as a question without thinking about it, “Is everything okay?”

When Blue addressed her and asked her to move, she nodded a little, “Oh, um.. sure,” she said and stood up, maybe a tad reluctantly, then moved over to the side a bit to give them the room they needed.

"Yeah! That sounds like a good plan." Fiona smiled a little, trying to be as encouraging as possible.
...At the same time though, the way Alex spoke about Victoria was enough to put the Elemental on edge, and she only knew a few things about the Queen...
A few things that told her /OH JEEZ, WE REALLY KINDA NEED TO DO THIS RIGHT./

She started heading towards the palace, thinking about that now, and eventually she remembered something, "...Well... When we first got here, I saw Terra and Purity bow to her."

Dreamwaker spine scrapped together from her irritation " Lack of magic in this world?!" She snapped back at the Elemental but she miraculously kept herself from caps locking on him, he was a captain after all

The ancient then turned her head to the young Nightmare, her nostrils flared as she snorted " you knew and didn't think about it?! THIS WORLD DOESN'T HAVE MAGIC EATER! YEA AS NIGHTMARE WE CAN SURVIVE OFF THE FEARS OF OTHERS BUT SOME OF OUR OTHER ABILITIES NEED OUTSIDE MAGIC TO USE LIKE SHADOW JUMPING!! "
After shouting this Waker cooled off, her spine were still makes that sound showing her uncertainty, she didn't like the idea that only magic in the area was in a Vaseterm barrier but a barrier explained that Vaseterm had a stronghold in this world " ....the Silver Spears palaces here?.... I thought Malice killed all them long ago but if they been hidden in this dead world that explains why they're not all dead..." she thinks outloud and also knew Omen hunted his own kind to " I'm guessing he doesn't know either...then again I haven't seen Omen sneaking around lately " it got her wondering about the outcasts, he usually which show up at some point, but this place now got her curious "hmmmm a portal Stone might work but it likely be a one time use for it, it's a good thing I keep stock on them but before I try I might take a look around this world and she what I can find... my intuition might be on to something "

Qui ran down the hallway and to the Library, she didn't miss lag day so she wasn't on the forever Treadmill ( this time...) she busted into the room not being Subtle at all disturbing any early bird readers, but that didn't stop her, the brown hair woman was on a mission so she was now was playing fine the person Walmart style and started walking down the middle Alleyway looking down each alley.

Osiris Stared at the little girl for a moment and then smirk with Amusement " one day you likely have horses hoofs but I doubt birds " he took his shoes and sock and started putting them back on, Nice and neatly

"...That's what I said." Boreas nodded, keeping himself from reacting /too/ much to Waker snapping at him, "There's no magic at all here, except for the few creatures who radiate it."

Then he just had to wait through Waker ranting at Eater.
He grimaced ever so slightly when Dreameater spilled the beans about the Silver Spears palace... "Yup. We're not going there."

The Captain just listened to what Waker had to say after that--though he didn't know much about the Vaseterm... He definitely took notes of what he was hearing. //Sounds like no one liked the Vaseterm much...//

Frankly, he wasn't too happy hearing that Waker was going to stick around. He tried not to let it show too much, though...
He let out a sigh, "...Even I have to admit, there are some odd things about this Realm.
...Just don't kill everyone." The Icy Elemental huffed out that last part--he knew how crazy it was to say that to a Nightmare.

Alexandrea thought about that, bowing, but all she could see was her doing that and Victoria swiftly lopping off her head. "How about a polite dip of the head instead of a full bow?" she demonstrates by slightly tipping her head to one side and lowering her face towards the ground, her eyes gazing low, so she wouldn't make eye contact with anyone.

"I don't feel comfortable doing a full on bow" Alex can't stop fidgetting with her hands as she walks beside Fiona, "It might come across mocking too, if we greet her as 'Your Highness' or 'Your Majesty'... Especially if I do... How about we refer to her as just Queen Victoria?"

Eater just grimaces and closes his eyes as Waker shouts at him, and waits until she's done before he sighs and says anything. "Hey, it's my first time being to a world like this, and I didn't really come here knowing much about it," he mumbles in his defense, then nods his head in agreement with her comments on the Vaseterm. Much like Boreas, he doesn't seem too happy about Waker wanting to stay a bit and even frowns at her, but after everything she's already said (and shouted), he gets the feeling she knows to go under the radar. "Alright Waker, let me know if you find anything important. I'll keep doing what I can too, to get more details on things."

Ai looked confused, "How do I get horse feet-hoof?" she asked, she already knew about War Horses, but she forgot that they had hooved feet. And she was unaware of any other forms that might give her hooves for feet. Other than her true form.

And Terra is just following Qui still, though he's not going through around as energetically as she is.

Fiona shrugged, "Uh, okay, I guess that'd pretty much do the same thing."

She nodded in agreement as Alex suggested they just call her, 'Queen Victoria.' "I... Think that'd be a good idea?"
The Elemental noticed how fidgety Alexandrea was, "...I think you should try taking deep breath and letting it out, too. Don't forget--you're not doing this alone."

//...Is there... Anything else I can do about this...? I don't completely get everything... But I know some things...//

Alexandrea nodded, taking deep breaths, she didn't know if it was working or not.

"Okay, okay, I don't think we'll do too bad... Let's see if we can find her" Alex then hops back into the window they had come out of.

"Mmm, I guess so, I honestly find it kind of refreshing, it feels like it's been a long time since we've seen it rain," Purity casually remarks, but follows Eira over to the buildings anyway.

Then, it dawns on her, and she facepalms as she realizes: //Oh wait a minute...! We didn't even have to come all the way out here! Serenity, we could've just called him and asked where he was!//

//Yeah, I thought about that a bit before you did, and I was just about to tell you,// Serenity admits, though there's a hint of dread in her tone, //Anna did say not to try and reach Catch telepathically unless it's an emergency, but I've actually been trying to get a hold of him for like a minute or so now, but... It's like the link's been cut, like... Like when Eira never showed up at school, and the connection was dead...//

" its very irritating " Waker snorted at both Eater and Boreas about the world with no magic.

She eye the captain, she already didn't plan on eating any human in this world after what Eater said happened to him " I don't plan on it " but she wasn't going to bring that up to the Captain why tell him that something in this world might make people poisonous to Nightmare?
The ancient nightmare began to walk away she took her chain and waved at dismissively to the two men " yes, yes I'll inform you if I find anything and you do the same " after saying this Walker shifted to a humanoid form, it was the closest thing she had to a human form but her appearance still couldn't place as one, she was beastkin that resembled a felion, she had cat ears, tail, and nose, she was wearing an dark purple and white Adventure dress that look to be more from a medieval timeline

"Good." Was all Boreas said in response to Waker's plans against killing people.
...Though, he /still/ wasn't completely inclined to believe that statement... He just left it at that response at the moment. He didn't want to complicate this mess of an 'alliance truce' any further.

However, he did lift one eyebrow just slightly when she shifted to her beastkin form. "Ehhhh... You're not going to blend in for long, looking like that..."
...He really had to hold himself back from saying '/You shouldn't be here,/ looking like that' instead.

Dreameater watches quietly as Dreamwaker shifts to her humanoid form, and holds back a snort when he sees her cat-like appearance. //I know she hates humans, but... that's kind of funny, cats make me think of Purity...// he thinks, then takes out his ring again and holds it out to his fellow Nightmare. "Here, you can use this, I don't know how it'll work on you, but it hides my Nightmarish look. I think you need it more than I do."

Dreamcatcher rises an eyebrow at Hiiro, he know the shapeshifter was Tough really tough so Noticing something was off was kinda easy " yeah, I know, but something not right " he work to get a better hold of Boo // did she always have that crack in her hat? Face skull thing?...// he remember a small one on the right side but now there was one on the other he didn't remember before. Catch Shrugged it off for now, he walk over to the bed right next to them and sat the little dragon down on it, the red haired came back " have any of the Nurse check you out? "

Hiiro growled deeply when Catch came back, "No they haven't and I don't want them too, I don't need anyone's help, piss off Catcher" he winces very slightly, but keeps his harsh gaze.

" when you are Older and an adult you will be able to take your War horses form and you will have hoof feet " Osiris explained to the little girl.
Qui was Relief in finding Osiris, she rushed to him and then had to stop to catch her breath " O- Osiris, we need to talk!"

Ai opened her mouth to ask more questions, but Qui very suddenly arrived, causing her to jump. She looked to her Mother, startled, "Momma?" she walks over to her, taking Qui's hand in hers

Terradream floats a little ways behind Qui, staying quiet, but very observant, interested in what conversation these two will bring.

"Yeah! Everything'll be fine!" Fiona followed Alex through the window, but not without stopping outside and taking a moment to get the excess mud off of her--to varying degrees of success.

As she flew into the palace, she remembered something Nora had said back at the infirmary about the Queen and Faithful. Something about Victoria going into the 'dark mourn.'
"...Just... Don't bring up Faithful or Malice." She muttered, even if that was pretty obvious. The Elemental was still rather shocked, thinking about all the new things she'd been told about the Nightmare King and the Dreamer Prince.

As Eira and Purity walked, Eira heard something subtle coming from a small ways away. When she passed by an alleyway, she heard it again, and she stopped, heart rate beginning to rise. //Is that...?// Something felt oddly familiar, and it unnerved her too much to shrug it off.
"Um, Purity... I-I'll be right back, okay?" Without saying anything else, Eira slipped down the alleyway, glancing about nervously. //That voice, I know it...// Movement flickered up ahead and vanished. With a gasp, Eira rushed after it, vanishing around the corner and leaving Purity alone.

"What...?" Purity breathes out after hearing her partner's revelation, then gets more tense and uneasy when Eira suddenly stops, all the more so when Eira ditches her without much of an explanation... "Hey, wait!" the Dreamer girl calls, reaching out to her friend before she disappears from sight, but she just waits there a moment, not sure what to do... //What'd she suddenly leave for? I didn't hear anything...// Purity anxiously considers, looking around and realizing just how vulnerable she is right now, and that starts getting her a little paranoid... especially after talking about villains targeting her. "... W-wait Eira, it's dangerous to go alone! We shouldn't split..." she started to call as she decided to head down the alley as well, but stopped when she turned the corner and saw nothing... //Wh-where'd she go...?// she thinks as she slowly starts backing away, and turns to look back the way she came, //Maybe I should wait for her there? She said she'd be right back... But I can't just leave her alone--we're the Candidates, we've got Soledormir after us--we've already lost Mina... S-Serenity, can you try getting in touch with anyone else? Terra, um... Oh Moons, I just realized I haven't even linked you up with anyone else from the group...//

//I can try to call Terra, I'm not going to bother with Eater, but... Purity, be careful please, I've got a horrible feeling about all this...//
After hesitating a little longer, Purity turns again and starts heading down the direction she thinks Eira went, calling her friend's name louder and louder as the rain picks up...

Dreamwaker gave the captain a sarcastic look, she knew she couldn't blending well even with her humanoid disguise, it was to cat like, she was going to snap at him when Eater mentioned his ring and offered it to the ancient Nightmare.
Waker carefully took it from him, like taking something that had been contaminated " eh, thanks " she mumbled and wiped it off before slipping the jewelry on her finger, and in that moment the Nightmare appears changed to that of a human
" ugh, this is annoying but whatever, it have to do until I figure out how to get out of this wretched world" the Nightmare in disguised snapped, Waker then head out of the alleyway, still clearly frustrated

"Yeah, I know, Captain Obvious here." Boreas did sort of a half jazz-hands gesture--still keeping neutral as he did so.

To avoid causing any further conflict, the Elemental just quietly watched as Eater handed Waker his disguise ring, then as the Ancient put it on, and left the alleyway in a huff. He silently glanced to Eater, then to where Waker had gone, waiting a while even after she was out of sight just to make extra sure she wouldn't overhear anything else--Nightmares with their super hearing and all that... And while he waited, he briefly thought over everything that they had discussed.

"...Hm. /That/ was an experience."
