A special type of crystal known as memento crystals...
Unusual things have been noted in and about areas where these are abundant.
Plants and creatures that are seen
/nowhere/ else are found in areas with the crystals, and strange phenomena is reported to occur near them...
Lots of things are striking and strange about them but one of the most is that the air around them has flecks of light that sparkle and glitter constantly much like a unicorn's magic.
