To understand more about Arc's background, first I have to explain more about the place he grew up.

Deep in the Barren Mountains, far to the north of the world, stands a building called the School of Everything. It was so named because people of any sentient species are able to attend; the school is full of humans, dragons, werewolves, shifters, and countless other magical creatures. Nobody seems to know why or when the place was first built, only that it's existed for longer than they can remember. Nestled in the foothills, it's isolated yet well-known, and even parents from distant countries have been known to send their offspring there.

In my characters' stories, a lot of important things happened in this school. It's where Arc spent his teenage years. It's also where Stal and Gray formed their first band, Snare - an experimental band known for performing improvised gigs in unused classrooms in the early hours of the morning.

While at school, Arc struck up a close friendship with a slightly younger boy named Crowley, who was a renowned troublemaker. The two were almost inseparable, and spent their time roaming the school grounds, bullying and stealing from their classmates.

However, their friendship ultimately turned sour; Arc became disturbed by Crowley's increasingly violent behaviour and they parted ways a year after leaving school. Nowadays, Arc deeply regrets the things he did while with Crowley. He's desperate to redeem himself, and that's why he always goes out of his way to help others - he thinks it's the only way he can make up for what happened before.

Arc eventually moved to Caelum in an effort to 'start fresh'. He discovered that Stal and Gray, his former classmates, had also moved there a short while ago. Connecting over their shared histories and mutual dislike of Crowley, the trio formed a new band together and set out on a mission to become popular in the great city - though Arc has always prioritised helping people, considering The Plague a mere side hobby.

Random extra info:
- Sometimes wears dark sunglasses like in the picture. He likes them, but Stal thinks they look stupid and won't let Arc wear them during shows.
- Finds shapeshifting very disorientating, so he prefers to stay in his natural form unless he really /needs/ to be something else.
- Kinda likes classical music.
- Interested in sports (though he doesn't play any, he does enjoy watching stuff like football and golf on TV).
- Is basically the 'mum friend' of the group. He's always looking out for the others, making sure they stay safe, and breaking up any fights between them.
