Alrighty!

I don't know if anyone noticed me saying this in the last RP, but I plan to timeskip to the next morning once everyone's done with their current interactions. It's currently late night in the RP, so it might be good to start a new day and have more opportunities for characters to do stuff. X)

I think the last thing I need to do is have Stal's bandmates finish their performance and introduce themselves to Dianne. Most of them will just go home to bed after that.

Stal opened his mouth to respond, but was drowned out by a round of applause from the spectators as Loch, Gray and Pyre climbed down from the stage. 'Oh, here they come,' he muttered, starting to walk towards the group. 'I guess you can come meet them, if you want to.'

As Loch got off the stage, she slid up to Ozzy. 'Hey, how are you feeling? You did great! Nobody would have believed you didn't even know the song.'

(POWAH! Ok, I’m here.)

{Dianne stands and follows after Stal, waiting to be introduced.}

To answer your question, I had seen a few RP’s prior, and read them. I thought to myself, “hey, this is basically a big story that multiple people get to write at once. That’s awesome! I like writing!” However, I didn’t just pick TDS randomly. I looked around to see what good fantasy RP’s there were. As far as genres go, I had no interest in romance, fanfic types, or things too rooted by rules or reality. TDS seemed like a great choice. Also, it had dragons, which was awesome.)

Stal waited impatiently for the his bandmates to notice he was there. Finally, Gray and Pyre approached him, glancing curiously at Dianne.

'Hey, Stal!' Pyre greeted him cheerfully. 'Were you watching that? It went pretty well, didn't it?'

'Yeah, it was great,' said Stal grudgingly. 'That drummer guy was better than I expected. Anyway, to cut to the chase - this is Dianne, the owner of the Serpent's Tomb. Apparently we might be arranging a gig there soon.'

'The Serpent's Tomb? Ooh, it would be so cool if we got to perform there.' Pyre extended a hand to Dianne without hesitation. 'Hello there! I'm the keyboardist of The Plague. Everyone calls me Pyre.'

That's pretty neat! I never thought of hawk, but I've never quite like it. hehe.
Browns ayeeee! I used to actually not really care for brown, (all my sibs have blue eyes, and there are a lot of them lol) but later as I started to get into art I've come to understand color more earthy tones and other naturally pleasing aesthetics are my jam, I like to dress in very neutral/muted tones. :'D

Yeee! You're the second person to say that I think haha, I like antique vibes, and themes from the old west, greek/roman haha. That might have some influence on it heh.

First oc? hmmm
Well I probably won't count anything before colors, as I didn't have a formal concept of ocs, I did draw a horse thing? But it wasn't an oc, never named it or did anything with it pfff.
First formulation of one, uhh a wolf I named Nyro,, my character Hawthorn I created to echo the older character - but I wouldn't call them the same. The second character I created was a pheonix/hawk hybrid named Gill, I went and did the same thing and now I've got Buckeye.

So yea, Nyro and Gill were my first, but I don't use them because they're just veryyyy old.
But I do have characters that reflect them.
(it's like the Ship of Theseus, are they really the same after all that change? Character evolution is strange lol)

{Dianne shook Pyre’s hand firmly, looking the vampire over intently.}
Dianne: “It’s a pleasure. The performance you gave was well done. Too bad this establishment won’t let you continue.”

'Yeah, it's kind of a shame some of us were late,' said Pyre, shrugging unconcernedly, 'but I don't mind. They'll be plenty of other chances for us to perform. It doesn't matter if we miss one gig.'

Meanwhile, Stal was talking to Gray.

'We're not prepared for a gig at the Serpent's Tomb,' muttered Gray, looking worried. 'Don't you realise that's one of the most popular music venues on this side of Caelum? The bands that play there are probably way better than us.'

'Don't panic,' grunted Stal. 'We'll do fine. We're a good band, Gray. We're just underrated.'

The doctor's call for security only raised the intensity. Shepherd and Euterpe were now more than eager to leave. The dragoness' eyes narrowed as she heard the echoing of shouts and screams from behind.
Shepherd also yelped urging Euterpe to go faster. They came upon several intersections, some accompanied by men infront of them, causing them to change directions.
Unable to find the exit they found themselves corned in a room a few windows. It was at least floor up from the ground.
Euterpe froze at the window, the sounds of their pursuers carried from behind.
"C'mon they're coming!" Shepherd urged

"I can't, my- aIEE!" Euterpe began but then found herself jumping out the window, Marco had sunk his teeth in her hide, which was surprisingly painful for a dog of his size.

The glass broke and Shepherd held onto both Marco and Euterpe as the three rammed through the window.
Euterpe shriek and tried her best to flap her wings while airborn. To no avail, she started to descend and awkwardly land. Not a complete crash, but it was far from comfort.

The gang then took one look back at the hospital before scrambling down the street to disappear in the night

(Hm maybe they can talk to eachother in the morning lol )

(I knew they were gonna jump out a window at some point. XD)

Hey, so obviously I haven't been all that active in this RP.

I'll be honest, I've found myself struggling to roleplay lately - or write in general, really. I suppose I need to be in just the right mood. I've roleplayed with other people too, but I tend to find it hard to think of responses. (I find it slightly easier when writing about canon fandom characters because they have an already developed personality that I can just follow.)

I really don't want to hold anyone up and make a nuisance of myself - if I haven't already - with my slow/nonexistent responses, so it's probably best if I back out. You guys have fun, I bet the RP'll go great!

{Dianne nods, looking about at the other members of the band.}
Dianne: "Well, that's a good attitude to have about it. Too much, I see bands at each other's throats over such trivial matters. So, is this everyone?"

Loch jumped down from the stage, a little later than everyone else, since she'd stopped to say goodbye to Ozzy. 'Hi, Stal! Hey, you found Arc. What happened?'

While Arc explained why he'd been late, Pyre nodded at Dianne. 'Yeah, this is all of us. Gray's the bassist, and Loch over there is the guitarist. So is it really true that you're going to let us perform at the Serpent's Tomb?' he asked, an eager glint in his eyes.

{Dianne tilts her head, as if considering the question.}
Dianne: "Eeeh, yes and no. I'm giving you all a chance. I'm not the one you have to convince. It's my head of venue Stella that you need to impress."

'Oh, really? We should go and see her, then!' said Pyre, and Arc chuckled.

'Chill out, buddy. I've agreed to go and meet her sometime tomorrow. I'm not going to rush off and do it right now.'

'Oh... But she'll want to meet all of us, right? Not just Arc?' Pyre turned to Dianne with a questioning expression.

Dianne: "Yeah, she will. You can either come right now, or tomorrow before five. Whatever you decide, it's better if you're all there."

The band members exchanged glances. 'We'll come over tomorrow,' said Stal after a moment's hesitation. 'I mean, it's getting pretty late, and some of us sleep at night.'

'All of us sleep at night except you, Stal,' said Loch.

'What's Stella like?' said Pyre curiously.

Dianne: “She’s, uh...she’s alright. She takes her job very seriously, so she’s stressed out a lot. Just take it as seriously as she does, and you should be fine.”

Loch and Pyre both looked slightly crestfallen. 'Urgh,' said Loch. 'She doesn't sound like much fun...'

Stal shot them both a sharp look, warning them to shut up. 'Don't worry about it,' he said gruffly. 'I take everything related to my music career /very/ seriously. And don't worry about these idiots. It might be hard to believe, but they can be serious when they need to be.'

{Dianne just chuckles.}
Dianne: “Just relax. It’s an audition. Just play what you got, and don’t be late. Ok?”

Stal snorted. 'We're not going to be late for something this important. Anyway...' He glanced around at his bandmates. 'We'll be heading on home now, if you don't mind. Hopefully everything goes to plan tomorrow.'

(ooo wooo)

Dianne: “Yes, hopefully. I’ll see you all tomorrow. Remember, before five.”

Stal grunted in acknowledgement, then headed for the exit. The rest of his band followed, Loch pausing just long enough to shout a goodbye to the Clockwork Dove members and promise them that she'd be keeping up with their music from now on.

'C'mon,' growled Stal, and they left the bar. Once outside, most of the members split off in different directions, going back to their individual homes.

//Tomorrow's going to be interesting...// Stal thought.

--SEVERAL HOURS LATER--

The next morning was warm and sunny. Most of the city's population was already up and about, filling the streets with bystanders and the familiar rumble of cars. The chaos left by Euterpe and Marco storming the hospital last night seemed to have abated somewhat, and nobody official seemed to know where the strange dragon had taken Shepherd anyway, so they were simply trying to pretend it never happened.

Stal and Gray were still at home, but the other members of The Plague had already started their day.

Loch had gone to a local cafe, where she worked part-time.

Pyre was on his way to the Serpent's Tomb, planning to check the place out before the rest of the band got together to visit later.

Arc had visited the hospital to see if Shepherd was all right, but after being told that the boy had 'left against doctor's advice', he had gone off to search for him, worried that something bad might happen to the boy who had already gotten hurt just from trying to cross a road.

(Long post, I have a lot of characters to keep track of. XD)

It had been a long night, the three had found somewhere to discreet to hide during the rest of the night. They didn't get much rest anyway, well except for Marco, he slept better than anyone.
There wasn't much conversation between the three until morning, Shepherd had wanted to go back to the shore at dawn but didn't say why.
The three trudged silently back to the beach arriving at their boat which was hidden between several large rocks.
Shepherd began rummaging through, as if he was looking for something.
There was an anxious dread written on his face, he seemed almost worried as if what he was looking had gone missing.
Finally he pulled out a shiny metal tag, followed but a sigh of relief.
Euterpe tilted her head curiosly. "What's that?" She asked.

"It's a, prisoner's tag..." He mumbled shoving it into his bag before going back to grab the rest of the things within the boat.

"Why would you want that,,," She replied in a low tone.

"They- wanted to know my records, at that... place. I wanted to make sure that this wasn't missing, or stolen...."

Euterpe narrowed her eyes. "Wha-why would they want that? If they found out you were- what were they going to do?!?"

"I don't know, but... All I know is it sounded like they could of sent me back, or worse in a place similar to it..." Shepherd said quietly.

"Man, let's not do that again, those monsters really are scary, I thought you were a goner!" Euterpe shuddered.

"Monsters?" Shepherd gave her a weird look.

"Those big metal things! The ones Marco ran to! They're loud bright and they move fast!" She explained.

"Oh, you mean the cars..."
"How come I'm the only one who doesn't know about them? There weren't any back home,,,, or in that camp were there?" Euterpe whined dramatically.

"Well, no,,, I mean not many. There was this one guy who they threw in, he liked to talk a lot. One thing he mentioned them a few times. And one time some admnister came in with strange vehicle. I don't know what he was doing, we weren't allowed to watch very long, but I know the new guy got all excited. That changed after a week or so. The guards didn't like us talking for too long." Shepherd said tellingly.

"Well whatever, we're NOT going back near those things! Infact how about we avoid the city altogether. I don't like this place, and those people at the hospital? I think that's what the that lady called it. They might, be after us for all we know..."

Shepherd nodded. "Right,,,, but we can't go back in the water, I don't think I could stand another voyage anyway..."

"Around? I rather go back into the water than enter that beastly land anyway." Euterpe grumbled

"We don't know how long the beach is, plus it's very exposed,,, And going back isn't smart! We don't know where we are even, it'd also make it easier if you could use your wings..."
"No, no and no let's just take the boat around- HEY" Euterpe panicked, the boat had untied itself and was now drifting off to sea.
Shepherd ran his hands through his hair at the sight of their boat leaving but he calmed down pretty quickly. "Well looks like our option is to go into that beastly land, that you love so much. Now if you could fly-"

"Don't start!" Euterpe snapped, already irritated enough. And began to storm ahead of Shepherd and Marco grumbling to herself about how miserable it all was and how if they had just never went after the dog it could of all been avoided.

Shepherd chuckled a little to himself and tied a rope around Marco so he wouldn't run off. He then began to follow after Euterpe as went to sneak back into the city.

(Long boi, @Anyone is fine, they're going to be sneaking around as best they can. :P )

{Meanwhile, in the city, Dianne was walking to work, taking the scenic beach route. Looking off into the waves, she sees an unmanned boat, drifting away into the morning sun.

Stella, on the other hand, was already at work, busily calling bands, scheduling performances, and grumbling about their lack of talent behind their backs.}

Stella: "Marjorie!"

Marjorie: "Yes?"

Stella: "Is Dianne here yet?"

Marjorie: "No, I don't think so."

{Stella sighs heavily.}
Stella: "It's her business, she should be here first."
{She grumbles.}
Dolorus: //Oh, relax, would you, Stella? You're taking this job waaaay too seriously. All you do is schedule bands to play at a bar, you're not the president of the region or anything.//

Stella: "Dolorus, this is the premier place to play in East Caelum. We have a reputation to uphold. I can't let just /anybody/ have a gig here."

Dolorus: //Oh, please, people come for the ales, and stay for the bands. The music is secondary.//

{Stella just subsides into angry grumbling as she continues to work.}

Arc was concerned. //They didn't seem like they knew what they were doing at all,// he thought. //They didn't even seem to know what CARS are. And the boy's outfit... I think he might have been from another country.//

He continued to muse over the oddity as he roamed the city streets, hoping to catch a glimpse of Shepherd, his dog, or his dragon companion. Of course, Caelum was a big city, and finding one person (or even three) would be a massive task. However, he couldn't just give up. He was desperate to make sure they were alright, and maybe help them settle into the city if they really were foreigners.

//I just have to make sure I don't forget about Stal this time,// he thought. //If I don't show up at the Serpent's Tomb later, I think he'll kill me.//

Humming not-very-tunefully to himself, Pyre approached the Serpent's Tomb, gazing curiously at the bar from the opposite side of the street. He had never visited the place before, despite all the good things he'd heard about it. He had always intended to visit someday and try their famous liquor, but hadn't even dreamed that he might get the chance to perform there.

//I wonder if it's open,// he mused, unable to tell from so far away. //It's kinda early still.//

{As Pyre approached, a cook walked out the front door, carrying garbage to throw out. While it wasn’t clear if it was open, there was staff inside.}

Pyre swiftly crossed the road - dodging a Mini Cooper that was going 10mph over the speed limit - and poked his head through the front door, gazing around curiously. After a moment, he decided to go inside and explore. He figured that if the place wasn't open to customers, then they would simply ask him to leave.

Euterpe glanced back at the beach, catching a glimpse of Dianne she moved behind Shepherd to push him along faster.

"Hey, no need to be so hasty! Stop pushing!" Shepherd grumbled, he jumped forward to get away but she was too fast and kept up with his pace.

"Ugh you're too slow!" She complained before throwing both of them on her back.
"What was that for?" Shepherd muttered, not very pleased with the way she threw him around. Looking around he spotted Arc and pointed to him. "Hey there's that dragon again! Euterpe did you ever know any other dragons?"

"Everything, yes he sent you to that aweful place, and no I've never met any other dragons." She replied sourly.

"Maybe you should, maybe you'd learn something, like how to fly." He teased while motioning with his arms.

Euterpe grunted and then gave him a small shook to shut him up. Which worked for the moment.

{Once Pyre walked inside no one seems to have noticed him yet. The interior was crafted to look like an ancient ruin, made of large, limestone blocks, torches, fountains carved into the likeness of serpents, and bone garlands hanging from the ceiling.}

{Dianne looks up to see the group. Recognizing the boy, she starts to walk after the group.}

Arc didn't notice the group at first, but then he heard Shepherd and Euterpe talking. Vaguely recognising Shepherd's voice, he spun around and saw the group walking past, the boy sitting on his dragon friend's back. Relief shot through him, and he hurried towards them without hesitation.

'Hey, it's you! How did you get out of the hospital? Are you alright? I've been looking for you, I was worried since none of the doctors seemed to know where you were.' The questions erupted out of Arc's mouth before he could stop himself.

Awestruck by the look of the bar's interior, Pyre continued to walk further inside, taking in the view. //If it IS open, then maybe I could try one of the drinks,// he mused vaguely. He then quickly forget about it as he kept looking around. //I wonder where the bands perform?// he thought as he scanned the room for some kind of stage area.

Shepherd squinted back at the beach.
"There's a woman walking this way, she looks like she's coming towards us?"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure she was part of the whole fiasco too. May I remind you that we're not here for a chit-chat?"
Euterpe complained
"Eu," Shepherd started

"Shep, I said no."

"Eu there's-" Shepherd was cut short, Arc had caught up to them and was now asking questions.
Euterpe whirled her head towards the direction of sound. When she saw Arc she sneered.
Shepherd gave a friendly wave. "Hi, I'm fine, they wanted to keep me there. But Eu and Marco, busted me out!"
Euterpe gave Arc a detached smile."Haha Shepherd, what did I say about chit-chat?"

Arc smiled in greeting and his gaze passed over Euterpe for a moment, puzzled by her slightly hostile demeanour. 'Well, I'm very glad to hear you're OK,' he said politely to Shepherd. 'You shouldn't have left the hospital against the doctor's orders, but since you seem to have recovered quickly, I won't go on about it.' He hesitated. 'You aren't from around here, are you?'

{Dianne approached as well, but remained silent, content to listen. She didn't completely trust Euterpe, given how suspicious she was acting, but she just wanted to hear what they had to say.}

{Off to the left, the building opened up into a larger space. At the back of the room was a large stage, made entirely of intricately carved stone. Backstage, behind the curtains, there was the sound of a woman talking on the phone to someone.}

Stella: "Yeah, yeah, look, I don't care if you think you're the frickin Beatles, that's the opening we have, take it or leave it...No, I'm not bumping them off the first show, I make the rules here, not you..."

As the stage came into view, Pyre stopped and blinked in surprise. It was a lot bigger than the stage at the Crow's Eye or any of the other bars his band had performed in. //I wonder if that's Stella?// he thought, hearing a slightly irate-sounding woman's voice behind the stage. He vaguely remembered Dianne talking about Stella last night, and it sounded like this might be her.

//I hope she gives us a chance,// he thought, mildly worried, but not showing it.

"Well I think he's through with orders" Euterpe mumbled.

Shepherd jumped off Euterpe's back. "Sorry about her, I thought she'd be excited to see other dragons."

"Uh yeah, we're from overseas, I guess you could say we're voyagers. Being nice change, I'm sick of fish and seaweed." Shepherd began, Euterpe elbowed him a few times, which he responded with by elbowing her back, almost as if they we're two disagreeing siblings.
"Cut it out!" Shepherd grumbled shoving her one more time, it didn't seem to do much but she stopped.

"Hmph, though fish is gross." She nodded

"Very gross." Shepherd added.

"It was raw." Said Euterpe

"Don't remind me." Shepherd said looking a little sick at the thought.

Marco began barking and the two glanced at him before turning back to notice that he was barking at Dianne. Marco wagged his tail, walked over to her and began to see if she had any food.
"Hi" Shepherd greeted. "Sorry about Marco, he can be very rude, but he doesn't mean it." And then he pulled the dog away so he wouldn't jump up on Dianne.

{As Pyre was gawking at the stage, a hand grabs his shoulder. It's one of the bouncers. He is dressed in a black suit with a metal mask fashioned into the likeness of a deer skull. Up close, he smells of a strong cologne with a hint of formaldehyde.}

Bouncer: "What are you doing in here? We don't open until five."

@Alk/Xeno?

Arc glanced back and forth between Shepherd and Euterpe, trying to deduce what kind of relationship the pair had. They must be friends, though they seemed to bicker an awful lot. 'Raw fish? Well, you'll be able to find much better food here. Caelum is known for its delicious food, and there are great restaurants and bars everywhere.'

He smiled wistfully at the thought, remembering that he hadn't actually eaten anything yet today. Then, hearing Marco's barking, he glanced around and spotted Dianne. He nodded in greeting. //A strange coincidence, running into her again,// he mused.

{Dianne smiles as Shep greets her.}

Dianne: "It's quite alright. Just don't run after him into the street again, ok? You could have died. You mentioned you were voyagers. So, was that your boat floating away out there?"

Pyre jumped when the bouncer's hand landed on his shoulder, somehow not noticing his approach despite having vampiric senses. 'Oh. Uh. Hi,' he said, smiling apologetically. 'Sorry about that, I wasn't sure if you were open and I saw people inside, so I just kinda came in. I wanted to get a look at the place before my band comes over later. But, I'll leave now.'

{The bouncer just grunts in response, following Pyre out. As they were walking, the staff can be seen, preparing the building for later.}

Euterpe started distrustfully at Arc. "Heh, how do we know it's not poisoned, some of it could be poison, Shepherd got sick on the fish a few times."

"That's because it was raw, have your horns grown into your skull or something?" Shepherd said with a bit of sass.
"It could still be poison." Euterpe said, almost as if she was convinced it was.

Shepherd rolled his eyes but went on to answer Dianne. "Yeah it is, and I'll make sure it won't happen again." He said reassuringly. "Alright you two, cut to the chase waddya want." Euterpe growled.
"I think she means to say we very much enjoy your time, thank you." Shepherd teased.

{Dianne just looked at Euterpe incredulously.}
Dianne: "Poison? Where the hell are you from where you would think restaurants would poison you?"

{Despite all the infighting, Dianne was quite amused by the trio. She the turns to Euterpe.}
Dianne: "All I want, owl-dragon, is to make sure the kid is ok. The whole world isn't out to get you, ok?"

Pyre quickened his pace and hurriedly left the building, feeling mildly unnerved. The Crow's Eye didn't have security like this... But this place was bound to have tighter security, considering how popular it was, he supposed.

As soon as he was outside, he pulled out his phone and began writing a text to Stal. <Got to see inside the Serpent's Tomb! It looks awesome!>

{After the bouncer escorted Pyre out, he turned back inside. A few seconds later, Stella walked outside, rubbing her face. She then proceeded to lean against the wall and start texting someone, not paying any attention to Pyre.}

Pyre remained engrossed in his typing. After hitting the 'send' button, he glanced up and noticed Stella nearby, also with her phone out. He hadn't seen her approach, so he wasn't aware that she'd come out of the bar. He assumed that she was just another passer-by like himself.

Amused that both of them had, by coincidence, decided to stand here and text in the same place, he chuckled quietly before turning back to his phone.

{As Stella was texting, Dolorus spoke to her. Pyre, of course, can't hear the spectral serpent.}

Dolorus: //Get a load of this guy. He looks like a lion threw up a Scarlet Macaw. Ahahahaha!//

{Stella just sighs heavily, trying to focus on texting rather than Dolorus' obnoxious commentary.}

At home, Stal had just woken up. He lived in a house that had been specially modified for his species, featuring larger-than-average doorways and barely any furniture. Stepping outside into the sunlight, he pulled his phone out of his chest cavity and read the text from Pyre.

'He already went there?!' he growled, irritated. Not wanting to type a message with his overlong claws, he instead called Pyre. 'What the hell are you up to?! You were supposed to wait until we were all ready, not go and talk to them on your own!'

'Hey, it's OK, Stal,' Pyre replied, trying to placate the angry dragon. 'I didn't. Nobody saw me except the security guy. I just wanted to see what the place looked like. We'll all go together and talk to Stella later. Everything's fine.'

'Let me guess, you went in there before they were open?' Stal groaned. 'Great work, Pyre, giving our band a stupid first impression.'

'I told you, nobody noticed except the guard.'

Arc kept looking back and forth between Shepherd and Euterpe, puzzled by the amount of arguing between them but not questioning it. 'Restaurants? Poison? The only time I heard about someone getting sick from restaurant food was when they had an allergic reaction to it. Honestly, if you've been eating raw fish all this time, I think ANY food would be better than that.'

{Stella looks up at the mention of her name, paying closer attention to the strange vampire.}

Dolorus: //Oh, hohoho, so he's a part of a band who wanted to scope out the venue. Didn't Dianne mention them to you yesterday? The Plague, or something?//

{Stella just sent her text and stood still, inconspicuously listening to Pyre's side of the conversation.}
Stella: <Dianne, where r u?! Bufo just caught one of those band people you told me about snooping around the building before hours and I got two no-shows for tonight's lineup!>

'Yeah, but what if that guard tells everyone else?' growled Stal. 'Do you WANT to make me look like an idiot? Do you WANT people to see us and laugh? I have a reputation to maintain, in case you didn't realise!'

Pyre pulled the phone slightly away from his ear. 'Are you OK, Stal?'

'No, I'm not!' he snapped. 'Performing at the Serpent's Tomb - IF we get to do it - could bring us citywide success, do you understand that? It's one of the greatest opportunities we've ever had, and I can't let anyone ruin it!'

Pyre sighed quietly. 'Stal, chill out. It's honestly not a big deal.'

'I hope so. If they don't let us perform because of your snooping around...'

'Don't worry. I have a good feeling about this.'

{Stella keeps glancing up at Pyre as he talks.}

Dolorus: //Ohohoho, whoever he’s talking to sure isn’t happy. Stal, was it? Hey, when they get here, tell them they can’t perform because of this gaudy fool, and watch them tear him apart!//

Shepherd thought for a moment ."They serve good food? I don't ever think anyone back home served anything good. Just gruel, and it tasted like..."

"Fish?" Euterpe said cutting him off.

"No, can't tell which one I'd prefer though" Shepherd said shrugging.

"I was served food by a gnome once." Euterpe began. "Terrible service, claimed he needed my horns for some stew. He was a dirty trickster who was not only terrible at cooking but at catching his guests as well."
"Wait did you eat any of it?" Shepherd asked.

"No I never got my food, the water he gave me tasted awful and it made me very hazy. " She said squinting again. " I left after he came screeching at me with a hand saw."

(Lol, that's kinda funny. I wouldn't worry about that test, seemed more like a placement test to me. Coulomb's Envelope of Failure is just how we determine if a cliff or hillside will be strong enough to support a structure of predetermined weight. It's just a really cool cross between Geology and Engineering. )

(Well, at its core, you need mineralogy, an overall crash course in rock formation, ie metamorphic petrology, sedimentary petrology, etc. a heavy bent on structural geology, a couple courses in geologic mapping, and some electives depending on your interests. That’s about the long and short of it. XD)

Are calc and labs required as part of it?
My uni ingeneral wants you taking at least a lab, a Q & a W course.
Then depending on you major you need some other gen ed classes ahhh.
Some of it doesn't even really make much sense to me... )

(The prerequisite courses for the earth science major are a full helping of Calculus, some intermediate Chem, with lab, physics, Newtonian and waves, and an introductory course in geology. That’s just what you need to enter the major, not including the gen ed courses.)

(There's a coding app called grasshopper that's very similar to the python matlab course.
Though I say the class goes more indepth and you have the benefit of teachers.
Still it's good introduction I think.
