*Rethore's economy like any other utilizes a national currency to trade, barter and exchange services between individuals, buisnesses and trade partners.

As in real life, the inhabitants of Rethore react to scarcity in the same way we do.
Commodities such as, sugar, salt, spices, aged goods(such as wine and cheese), tobbaco, drugs, and even rare dyes like purple ink can fetch for some high prices on the market!
Fantastical as it may be, they are still limited in the means of production, which is why in most cases, not everyone can afford these luxury goods. There are even instances of merchants and tradesmen being robbed of their wares.
Likewise, getting you hands on some is not something one takes lightly!

Like any developing nation they work towards progress. However long may that be~

Whoah, I was really inexplicably angry after I finished that last pic? Well more like internal unexplained frustration lmao.
Lowkey I was laughing at myself, as I don't know why I was in such a weird mood.
But I think it might be due to dread of the semester coming and the fact that I have soooo many things bottled up lore wise. :)
Fear not~
It doesn't mean you are getting anything anytime soon, probably the opposite.
