These are Twilight and Ruby's Mothers, Gloria and Amelia. Gloria is Twilight's mother, and is her rock in the tough times they face, And Amelia is a singer and is away for weeks at a time, but when she is home she spends all her time with Ruby, and video chats with her every night to help with her homework and to hear about her day. Both lost a husband and had to raise a daughter alone. And both are proud if their girls =)
