[ scale, LOT OF SCALE!]
Chainmail scales:
A full Chainmail is the Rarest of the scale types and can come from every Region, however It is the most common to see mixed with the other scale types ( like the black and white girl here, she a mixed between chainmail and plates )
Chainmail is Medium size scale,
It has both Durability and maneuverability, it's the middle ground of the 3 scale types, it less armor then plated but more armor than smooth. Less speed then smooth but more then plated.
Chainmail scales are more active than plated scale and use more energy, they Typically will eat one full meal a day.
Because they are the middle of the 3 Variety of Crystalgem dragons scale they can be seen in every Environment and work filled.

There are a few different kinds of Chainmail looks.
The 'Diamondbacks' this is were the scale are diamond shape. There scale are side by side Tightly.
Most commonly known to come from Dryer regions.
The 'Raindrops' this is were the scale have a raindrop shape to them, however on the dragon they overlap so all you see is the bottom oval shape but if the scale were to come off it really looks like a Raindrop shape.
Mostly commonly know to come from Moister regions.
The 'Scallop or flower petals' this is very Similar to the Raindrops but the bottom edge is not smooth, its roughly ( the black and white girls bottom scale are this )
Most commonly known to come from colder regions.
the 'eggshell' this is were the scale have a oval shape to them and are much like the Diamondbacks were they don't overlap but are side by side.
It the most common in every Region
