No @Nappez I have not forgotten about Daisy, she's here. Just not important.
Jim's herd has a veriaty of beef cattle but their designs are mostly based off Texas Longhorns. Though I'm taking liberty and making them a sort a fantasy species so they can have some neat traits. (Like antler looking horns, they also have a bit of reindeer to their design as well. Nothing magical though. :P )
The Broke family only recently settled in Driftwood about 17 years ago, and the town has never taken a liking to their presence, (Jim isn't popular) If there's one thing they'd say the family is good for, it's raising cattle. For one it makes good trade, and for two it helps feed the town. Though the job doesn't really pay well, and is neither flashy nor glorious.
Other than that the stigma around the family remains relatively unchanged. Most the time, the two keep distance, folks in driftwood have even gone on to say superstitious things like the family itself is bad luck.
As far as ranching goes, Jim has only really taught Harper how to care for cattle. Piper and Quinn have yet to show the discipline, (that doesn't mean their let off the hook chore wise).
I wrote a whole thing that had more history on the town and even shows the prologue of what the 'current' present events are.... Though I'm kinda too hesitant to show it. The document is pretty long. :0

Of you really must know, Daisy is just a cow the two girl's took a liking to, and despite their father, they named her.

So, Jim, you've made it very clear that you will murderize any suitors that attempt to get close to Harper. However, what if the tables are turned, and Harper is the one who gets close to someone else? Will you break your your little girl's heart by slaughtering one of her friends? While I understand that the town of Driftwood hasn't been the kindest to your family, the possibility still remains.
