so not gonna lie i think i'm burned out on this story after messing with it for two years straight
this experiment with trying really hard to plan a story blew up in my face too
i can't make a comic without a plan because it derails too quick and i can't put too much time imagining the same story over and over again without making myself not want to think it anymore
i just have SO MANY COOL IDEAS that i want to do that i just DON'T want to wait 300 pages into a comic to draw lo

case in point: imagine reading a book for two years straight and then trying to make yourself rewrite the entire book just to get to the few good parts you actually like
my process is all about the maintenance of my interest levels and the amount of responsibility i feel when doing it and it's mega lame

Oof nah, that makes complete sense.
It's frustrating to do comics since they move so slowly. Maybe taking a hiatus would help? That way you could decide if you wanted to continue or not.
I really like this comic so far but, I definitely get where your coming from

honestly comics are hard and involve a lot of time to develop, I'm sure if you announced the end of this comic nobody would blame you
not saying you should give up but I am saying there's no shame in it either

i might just try to put less effort into making it and just focus on other things for now
maybe i’ll reveal a few things and use the comic as a way to provide backstory for it
that sounds easier
it lets me show you guys the infinite amount of ideas i’ve been doodling in my notebooks for the past year lol

comics are hard, you have to pace yourself and balance things (like the writing, concepting and drawing for the comic) with your other stuff (non comic stuff) so you dont focus too much on one thing and end up burning yourself out.
