Just as Promised by Uruwen

Time for my once-a-year post for this site.
I have a little bit I’d like to say but then I’ll move onto the Aitazatl stuff

It’s been a while since I’ve been around but to all my friends, you’ve all improved so much and I always love seeing the art you post whenever I swing by here. I especially enjoy being able to catch up with you all whenever I pop in, it makes me really happy that y’all still want to talk to me :’)

Anyways a little update on my life for anyone who wants to know, I’m in college now. I’m going to an art school out of state and majoring in animation, so I’m still doing art and don’t plan to stop anytime soon. I finished my first quarter last month and it’s been pretty fun so far. I’ve also been slowly but surely picking up digital art again after the huge depressive episode I had that lead to me leaving Colors, so things are getting better.

Anyways that’s enough about me, I promised someone I’d drop everything I had on the Aitazatl this month and I don’t plan to disappoint. All of that will be continued in online comments so bear with me.
There will also be a special offer at the end of this big dump, so stick around for that if you’re interested ;)

The special offer goes to @ShadowPikaboo who is the new owner of these species.

Over the time I’ve been away I’ve thought a lot about these guys and always put little mental notes in my head for changes or additions to them on the off chance I ever decided to return and work on them again.
I’ve decided now to just drop EVERYTHING I have on them here for the people who were interested in them but couldn’t learn more after I left.
And when I say everything I mean it, everything here was from my notes, so sections may be worded strangely. This is going to be loooong, so here’s a sorry in advance.

I BIOLOGY:
The standard Aitazatl’s appearance is as follows:
They will always have two pairs of wings, legs, and ears. The wings can vary in sizes depending on the variant that the Aitazatl is. They always have three eyes, the third which is on their forehead and in a vertical position rather than the horizontal position I had originally placed them in. They always have large, feathered manes. Males have a mane that wraps around their head much like a lion’s and female manes usually allow for their throat and bottom jaw to be seen. Finally, they always have a set of long antennae that grow from the top of their head.
Each variant has physical traits unique to their type which will be discussed in detail in the next section.

A big change I made to the species was their life spans. Instead of them aging to ten thousands years, which I found to be a little much they now only age to 1000. The way their blood colors changes to reflect their age hasn’t changed. All Aitazatl are born with metallic, bronze colored blood which turns gold around the time they are 150 years old and eventually turns silver by the 750 year mark.
At 750 an Aitazatl’s physical strength begins to deteriorate making them vulnerable to the elements and any attacks, most do not make it past 800 years.

Trisena is something unique to this species that still exists. The effects of this state vary for each variant but instead of it occurring when an Aitazatl opens their third eye, it now only occurs as a self defense mechanism for when the dragon is in a life threatening situation. The older an Aitazatl is, the more in control they are during their Trisena. Using this ability completely exhausts the dragon, so it is usually used as a last resort.

The Emperor Mutation is a rare genetic disease that occurs if there is mixed breeding between variants. This mutation enables an offspring inflicted with it nonstop growth, which eventually leads to bone problems as the dragon grows older due to the weight of their body. The mutation also enables stronger magical abilities in return for a very weak mental state. Going into Trisena will fracture these Aitazatls’ minds, permanently damaging them mentally.
‘Human’ Forms: The Aitazatl have the ability to magically shift into a frailer, humanoid form. As humans don’t actually exist on Osciri their forms aren’t actually ‘human’ but for easier understanding we’re just going to call it that. Their humanoid forms range from six to seven feet tall, they retain their wings, ears and eyes. Their hair color stays the same as their feathers. It’s seen as disgrace on the homeworld Osciri if one does not display their wings with pride.
In their human forms Aitazatl are considerably weaker, but usually they have the same amount of power that they would in their true forms. The weakest point on their body is between the area where the wings connect to the back. If an Aitazatl doesn’t have their wings visible in their human form they are seen as a coward or an exile.

II VARIANTS part I:
There are ten Aitazatl variants, each with their own unique abilities and appearances.
Fire Aitazatl are one of the more populous of the species and are known for their speed which they use to become deadly opponents in battle.
They are capable of breathing bursts of fire as a form of defense. The bodies of these dragons are usually warm to the touch and their scales are coated in flammable oils which can be used whilst the dragon is in Trisena.
They live in warmer climates, mainly deserts, they do this to maintain their body temperatures, which if it gets too low can possibly kill the dragon. This only gets worse in their human forms so they’ll often wear thick, warm clothing to stay comfortable.
For these variants it’s all about speed and accuracy, if they make one wrong move they can easily be knocked off course and defeated. They also must be very wary of water, if their feathers get wet they’ll be unable to fly and the longer they remain wet the faster their body temperature will go down.

Fire Aitazatl have a variety of red, orange, and brown scales with feathers that can be any warm colors (red/pink, orange, yellow). They have occasionally been seen with black scales and feathers and sometimes very rarely, blue and white feathers.

During Trisena, a fire Aitazatl’s body temperature raises to abnormal levels, making physical contact with their scales would result in serious burns. They have the ability to ignite the flammable oils that coat their body to light their scales and feathers on fire, however the flames will only last for around five minutes before the oils are burned away. While their scales and feathers are resistant to fire after the flames go out the scales are softer and more vulnerable to physical attacks.

Water Aitazatl are another of the more populous of the species, they have multiple rows of jagged teeth which result in nasty bites for anyone who gets too close.
Their bodies are very slimy and smooth to the touch, their skin resembling that of a shark’s. Their skin is also covered in markings that will glow various hues of blue or green in the dark depths of the water as a way to attract prey.
They live in the oceans of Osciri within their elaborate underwater cities and occasionally make visits to islands or coastal cities. Due to them having gills in their dragon forms they can’t leave the water for long but if they turn into their ‘human’ forms they can travel on land for a longer amount of time as long as they stay hydrated.
These variants are quick and elegant in the water but clumsy on the land, the weakest point on their bodies is their gills but as long as you’re in the water with them you’re as good as dead.

During Trisena these variants gain a temporary, magical control over any water in the immediate area. They can use this ability to create massive waves to wash their opponents away.
Water Aitazatl come in grey, black, or dark blue scales with lighter underbellies, their waterproof feathers usually match their scale color. Dull blue and/or green marking decorate their skin, they glow much more vibrantly than they appear. Their wings resemble that of seabirds, with their feathers made for pushing through water rather than flying.

Air Aitazatl are an elusive bunch, they have the largest wingspans of the entire species and use them to glide across Osciri for days at a time.
Due to their enormous size, their wings are the strongest park of their body; a blow from an Air Aitazatl’s wing could break the bones of almost any other variant. Surprisingly enough though these Aitazatl are also the lightest in weight compared to the other variants, their bones hollow and built for gliding through the air.
These Aitazatl are nomads, they never settle down for a permanent home much rather preferring to always be on the move. They hunt while they fly and very much like eagles will swoop down and grab unexpected prey in their talons and eat as they travel.
They are the weakes

VARIANTS part II
Earth Aitazatl are the largest of their species, they have immensely tough skin which is impossible to rip through with normal weapons, the only weak point on their body is their underbelly. These variants are also the only ones in their species unable to fly, because of this they are almost always underground, using their wings to push away rubble and earth while they build their complex tunnels and underground cities.
Their wings have grown claws that help the dragons move through the tunnels and their feathers have turned sharp and rough from exposure to the rocky walls. It’s been said by an unlucky few that to be hit with an earth variant’s wings is one of the most painful experiences one could go through.
These variants tend to keep their eyes closed almost constantly, mainly to avoid getting dirt and rocks in them while they’re underground, but also because of this their eyes are very sensitive to light. That won’t stop them from visiting the surface though, most earth variants actually love basking in the sun after a long day of working.

During Trisena, earth variants gain the ability while their third eye is open to turn anything they make eye contact with into stone. This ability only lasts for a few minutes but is proven to be quite useful in ending a fight.

Earth Aitazatl have scales that match the colors of the earth they dig through, often shades of brown, muted reds, and gold. Their feathers are usually brown or black.

Light Aitazatl are an interesting variant, they are known for being one of the few able to use actual magic and spells. And unlike others in their species light variants can learn new magic and be born with it making them the strongest when it comes to magical abilities. They are also the only variant to have a ‘sub-variant’.

Sunlight Aitazatl are capable of absorbing the sun’s energy to charge their light magic and make it more powerful, and their iridescent feathers are highly reflective which can confuse and blind opponents while fighting. These Aitazatl are adjusted to bright environments and are able to navigate when others would practically be blinded. However because of this they can’t see as well in the dark so they are strictly diurnal.
Moonlight Aitazatl are capable of the same abilities except they receive their energy from the moon and rather than being adjusted to bright environments, they thrive in the dark having impeccable dark vision that allows them to see perfectly, they are strictly nocturnal.

During Trisena a light Aitazatl’s magic becomes extremely powerful making it almost impossible to approach them for physical combat. Their light magic becomes more potent and deadly depending on the circumstances.

Sunlight Aitazatl have scales that are often hues of yellow, gold, white and light brown. Their feathers come in the same colors.
Moonlight Aitazatl have scales that are a range of light blue, silver, white and dark grey. Their feathers come in the same colors.

Nature Aitazatl are the only ones in their species known to be strict herbivores. Even though they still have a full set of needle like teeth these Aitazatl have the ability to ‘retract’ their teeth, like a snake. So when they eat they usually crush the fruits and plants into a pulp and then swallow it. The only time a nature variant will expose their teeth is either when they’re feeling threatened or when they’re trying to use their venom.
A nature variant’s venom is unique to the dragon and highly deadly, even other nature Aitazatl can be affected by one another’s venom. The only way to counteract the effects is to use the blood of the dragon the venom came from to make an antidote, otherwise the victim will die in about twenty-four hours.
Nature variants usually live in dense rainforests or temperate woodlands, they like to be close to plant life and live in quiet, peaceful environments

During Trisena their venom becomes corrosive making it highly dangerous, it is advised to avoid being bitt

VARIANTS part III
Storm Aitazatl have electricity running through their veins, touching their bodies will give you a light electric shock which is often how they greet one another.
These Aitazatl live at high altitudes and in places where thunderstorms are common, their societies are built around science and the creation of inventions. They will even go as far as using their own bodies as conduits of energy.
Their wings and manes are fluffier than most due to the large amounts of static electricity they’re exposed to constantly. These variants are fueled by the electricity in their bodies, the less there is the more lethargic they become until they can recharge.

During Trisena these Aitazatl are able to gather the electricity in their bodies and electrocute anything they come in physical contact with. The more electricity that was stored in their bodies, the stronger the shock.

Storm Aitazatl scales come in shades of grey and black with bright blue and white accents, rarely pink or yellow accents have been seen. Their scales also have faint patterns that resemble lighting scars. Their feathers are also usually black or grey with bright streaks of blue or white.

Ice Aitazatl are frigid to the touch, the complete opposite of a fire variant. They are the second largest in the species due to their stocky builds and thick skin.
These Aitazatl live near the poles of Osciri where it’s coldest. They have built large cities by carving the ice to create impressive architecture. They have thick, blubbery skin in order to face the cold and their manes are the only ones that contain fur alongside feathers.
Their claws are serrated in order to grip the ice and their underbellies have small barbs that are used for traction. Their upper canines are longer than their other teeth and resemble that of a sabertooth.

During Trisena these Aitazatl gain the ability to blow extremely cold breaths of air that if it comes into contact with any plant of animal would freeze them in place immediately.

Ice Aitazatl scales are strictly white with very faint grey stripes or spot patterns. Their feathers are usually completely white, but the insides of their wings can have a variety of blue, green, or purple colors that resemble aurora borealis.

Arcane Aitazatl are one of the rarest variants, mainly due to the amount of suspicion shown towards them from the rest of the species. They were hunted down to near extinction several times, no one knows how this variant came to be.
These Aitazatl keep to themselves, as history has shown it is unsafe to trust others. They have the ability to use magic like the light variants however their skills are strictly limited to illusions and persuasion.
They are the smallest variant and quick on their feet, they’re able to squeeze themselves through small openings. Unlike the rest of their species arcane Aitazatl have black sclera and starlike markings in their manes and feathers.

During Trisena these Aitazatl gain the ability to use their singing voice to hypnotize and control other creatures and alter their memories. This variant is one of two that can enter their Trisena without being in a life threatening state.

Arcane Aitazatl scales are unique in that they come in shades of pink, red, and purple. Their feathers and manes are usually black with the same colors mixed in.

Shade Aitazatl are the other rare variant, unlike their Arcane cousins, this variant is hunted down due to the distrust and fear directed towards them from the rest of their species, no one knows how this variant came to be.
These Aitazatl are extreme recluses, they are often violent and will lash out at anything that comes too close. They are able to camouflage themselves within any dark environment, the only thing that gives them away is their glowing eyes and their star-like speckled underbellies. Just like their cousins, they have black sclera.

During Trisena these Aitazatl become even more deadly, they gain the ability to shift through th

III SOCIAL:
Most Aitazatl live in cities or some kind of settlement where there are others of their variant are in close vicinity, they can live with other variants just fine it's just that social cues and behavior don’t transfer over seamlessly.
The Aitazatl have learned to tolerate and live amongst each other, history has proven to them that united they are stronger. The younger generations have adapted to it quicker than their elders and are more prone to interacting with those from other variants.

Aitazatl are very family driven, they mate for life and the bond between a mother and her offspring is one of the most respected things in their society.
Aitazatl reach maturity around 150 years old and are capable of laying eggs at that time. An Aitazatl can only lay one egg every ten years, so the nesting process is something that is closely guarded by a mated couple. After laying the egg the mother will form an incredibly strong attachment to her offspring, anything that she deems a threat, this can even include her mate will be killed on sight. It’s common knowledge to leave expecting mothers alone, even fathers tend to give their mates space for those months, choosing to guard the nest from a distance.
Once the egg has hatched its safe for the father to return to his mates' side to assist in raising their offspring. While the child is growing the mother will not lay any eggs until they have successfully matured enough to leave their parents. It’s during this time that the parents teach their offspring how to handle their natural abilities and teach them their general education (math, science, law, conduct ect.)
The child may also receive education from special instructors of the city that are appointed by the Lawmaster of the city after a certain age. This is to further progress their knowledge of the empire and give them references on how they can become a contribution to it, either there on Oscri or as part of the colonial effort.

The ‘human’ race of Osciri are at best second-class citizens. After the war the Aitazatl made sure to strip them of any power they had over the land. The ‘human’ race, while they outnumber the Aitazatl are subservient to them.

IV GOVERNMENT: The law of Osciri is dictated by the High Council. The Council is made up of nine seats, each one holds one noble of each variant. These nobles are Lawmasters from ‘variant capital’ cities, these are cities that were built and usually house one specific variant. (Ex. Nova Dolith, the desert city of the fire variants that Lawmaster Dartura presides over).
With each council seat being taken by one variant it allows for each member of Aitazatl society’s interests to be represented.
Above the council sits the Chancellor, they are the head of the High Council and the empire. The final say on all laws and decisions comes from the Chancellor. The current and only one to be in this seat is Chancellor Azenor Dagur.

Lawmasters are the reigning officials over the cities of Osciri, they usually have a set of advisors or aids that assist them in decision making. All laws the Lawmasters pass must first go through the High Council.

Colonial governments are run similarly to Osciri. After conquering a new planet, Chancellor Dagur appoints trusted individuals to be the Director of the colony, said Directors are allowed to create their own council which then runs the colony.
Government Officials (wip)
-Chancellor Dagur: an old, old Light Aitazatl. Was considered a war hero from the Great War and hand chosen by the CGs to become the head of the new empire. She’s been Chancellor for over 1000 years.
-Councilman Dartura: a Fire Aitazatl who assumed the position after her mate passed away she is the head of education in the empire. She is the current Lawmaster of Nova Dolith.
-Councilman Eider: an Ice Aitazatl who is the head of managing the military of the empire. He is the current Lawmaster of Azuros.
-Councilman Thunor: a Storm Aitazatl who is head of innovation for the empire, he is one of the leading scientists and professors within the Capital City.
-Councilman Orenda: an Arcane Aitazatl and right hand to the Chancellor, she is head of diplomacy and ‘foreign relations’ of the empire.

V PLANET:
Osciri is a Saturn-sized planet with an environment very similar to Earth. It has five different moons that orbit around the planet and 2-3 can usually be seen in the sky together at all times. The largest moon harbors a large city for the Aitazatl that was founded by the Celestial Guardians during the Great War.

The average day on Osciri is 72 hours long, while nights last around 30 hours. The Aitazatl are naturally attuned to this and can easily stay awake throughout the day. However most other organisms on the planet, including ‘humans’ require a few naps before night falls and will continue to sleep and work throughout the nights.

Osciri is a unique and diverse planet, being one of the three in it’s solar system that can sustain life out of five total.

A majority of the current day Aitazatl population lives upon Osciri, the planet now more of a homebase to the Aitazatl Empire.

VI TECHNOLOGY:
The technology of Osciri is highly advanced, after the Great War. The technological movement was headed by the storm variants as they had a knowledge and understanding of energy and electricity. The Celestial Guardians assisted by introducing teleportation and how to apply it to transportation, this made travel across Oscri easier. Eventually this technology would be applied to vehicles that would allow for faster space travel and transit to the other planets within the solar system.
After the conquering of the solar system the Celestial Guardians produced a map of every material rich planet they had come across on this side of the galaxy and the blueprints towards ships that could get the empire the with the help of their short-range teleportation technology. The source of these maps and blueprints is unknown.

VII EMPIRE:
The Aitazatl Empire was formed in the aftermath of the Great War, the Celestial Guardians chose a war hero to be the head of this new state, to unify the Aitazatl.
She with the help of the guardians began building a system of society and government, under her decree she made it so the Aitazatl were seen as the superior race on Osciri. She unified the species through this mindset and created the High Council in order to keep them all in order, choosing the strongest Aitazatl from each variant to be her counsel.

Once the Celestial Guardians told the new Chancellor Dagur about life on other planets and the possibility of conquering them the expansion of the empire had begun. The Chancellor set her sights on the other two planets of the solar system and by the end of the decade and took complete control over them. Materials were harvested from the system and the Chancellor made goals to go further.

The process of conquering and colonizing a planet isn’t pretty. If intelligent life thrives there and resists the Aitazatl’s attempts to claim the planet, reinforcements are sent. The Aitazatl will show their strength through violence and bloodshed if necessary and none have been able to resist them after that. Whatever leaders exist are thrown out of power or killed and the societal order of Osciri is put in place upon the new colony. The Aitazatl see themselves as the superior beings, those who resist them are no better than the humanoids from their own planet, those who give in to them are given more freedom and leeway.
Aitazatl born and living on colony planets are seen as less important or of lower rank than those born from Osciri, the homeworld. Due to this separation it is more likely for deserters to come from colony planets as they have firsthand experience with the terrible things that occur there.

VIII THE CELESTIAL GUARDIANS:
No one in Osciri besides Chancellor Dagur ever communicates directly with the guardians, they are aloof and stick to themselves. There is no other Aitazatl like them in appearance or power and for good reason.

Juno and Themis are ancient beings, but not by choice or nature. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, when the Aitazatl race was young and unnamed a research center existed on a small planet on the furthest reaches of the solar system. The current project was researching Osciri and its wildlife, specifically the Aitazatl which at the time, were nothing more than common creatures. They had no magical abilities or drawn out life spans, it was the testing of this facility which gave rise to this new breed of Aitazatl that would later be seen as the reigning beings of Osciri.

Juno and Themis were long term experiments of this facility, their egg discovered by the researchers who took interest in them, purely for the fact that they were twins. They were hatched within the facility and tested on from day one. The research included injecting the young creatures with multitudes of substances, magically charged and chemical. They were trying to test for any kind of supernatural links between the twins and if none was found, create one.
But as they grew their mortality was a problem the researchers knew they’d have to face. They’d either lose their perfect specimens due to testing or time. So a new program was put in place: the goal was immortality, or at least something close to it. The twins were changed beyond recognition; larger and stronger than before, many parts of them being replaced with various machinery overtime. The researchers ‘installed’ new abilities into them, things akin to teleportation and telekinesis.
The twins eventually become too much to handle, the researcher’s own ambitions and curiosity led to their demise. Juno and Themis destroyed the facility and the barren planet it was harbored on in their rage, the only things remaining were the blueprints and research that the twins had been ‘programmed’ to keep safe. With this knowledge they had stored so was each and every face of their tormentors, every alien species they had seen in that facility. It became their goal to find them all and destroy the planets they had come from.

IX HISTORY part I:
Pre-War Era
The Aitazatl have long pre-existed the humans by millions of years. During their time coinciding on the planet together neither race gave the other much thought. By the time humans started forming more complex civilizations was when the Aitazatl began taking interest in them.

The Aitazatl were far ahead of humans in almost every aspect- science, architecture, literature ect. Having had thousands of years to develop themselves. In the beginning they would only observe how the humans functioned, however a small few wanted to be involved. These Aitazatl became like patrons to these growing civilizations, teaching humans about magic and the sciences. They were at first seen as gods by the humans, art and monuments created to honor their patrons. But as they were taught more those beliefs were quickly tossed aside by a majority of the human population.

As time went on, more and more Aitazatl were becoming invested in human affairs. Technology that the Aitazatl had developed was finally put to use in human societies. Their ‘industrial revolution’ was blazed through in a matter of a few short years as their technology became more and more advanced. However even in this time of fast-paced technological advancement, humans were still ruled over by monarchies. These monarchies were dictated by the Aitazatl, usually they would appoint the most magically capable or well educated family to lead these human states. However if this family proved to be incompetent or untrustworthy, the Aitazatl patrons would rip their power away and appoint a new leading family.

This style of governance continued for many decades, but the longer it continued, the more humans became suspicious of their patrons. Factions were built to rebel against this ‘dictatorship’, sparking violence between states that the Aitazatl worked hard to prevent. The human race proved to be destructive and even though the violent crimes were stopped and the accountable were harshly punished. But the factions continued to grow and commit these crimes, more subtly and harder to punish this time.

Tension continued to rise between the races, Aitazatl started taking more control and inflicting strict laws. More humans began disliking the Aitazatl’s policies and this new oppression. The factions grew bigger and revolts against the Aitazatl and the humans loyal to them became more common and widespread. The final straw and catalyst for the Great War was the death of a patron Aitazatl, caused by a more radical human faction. At this point the Aitazatl were past the point of forgiveness and officially broke ties with the humans and declared war.

HISTORY part II
The Great War
The Great War was a bloody and devastating war that went on for about one hundred years. Neither side had ever expected the humans to hold on for so long, but due to their numbers and advanced technology, the humans actually stood a chance against the Aitazatl.
The first ten years were full of skirmishes and magical warfare, neither side wanted to to go too far, knowing fully that their opponents would return the damage by a tenfold. It wasn’t until the Celestial Guardians returned that total war broke out. The Guardians had begun building a city on the largest moon Cuibos, after its completion, it became a safe haven for the Aitazatl and became their base of operations. Due to it’s impossible location, there was no way the humans would ever be able to land a war-ending blow to the Aitazatl race.

While the Aitazatl hid on the moon, the humans began developing separate technology and weapons from the remaining materials they had received from the dragons before the war. The humans were able to create deadly weapons that could shoot the Aitazatl out of the sky and mangle their wings, where they could then be finished off on the ground. Due to their size, the human were able to hide from most air attacks and created underground bases hidden from most of the Aitazatl. The war was left in a stalemate, slowly becoming a war by attrition. It wouldn’t be until the final 15 years of the war when the Celestial Guardians would reveal the Aitazatl’s key to victory.

A major disadvantage of the Aitazatl was the fact they didn’t fight as one unit, they had no military, they were independent creatures that just happened to be fighting a common enemy. It wasn’t until a young dragon rose from the crowd and began rallying a fighting force that the Aitazatl began cooperating with one another. This young Aitazatl would serve to be an amazing fighter and turned her fellow dragons into warriors, it was because of this that she became a unanimously chosen leader of the newly created army. It was due to her leadership and partnership with the Guardians that eventually won the Aitazatl the war.

With both sides exhausted and running on their final bouts of energy, it was known that the end was coming soon, but still, no victor could be determined. The Celestial Guardians took initiative and began teaching the General of the army how to shapeshift. With this newfound ability, the Aitazatl were finally able to infiltrate the humans’ strongholds and effectively attack them from all fronts. After this point the war was short-lived, and in a few years, the Aitazatl were victorious.

I always thought the Aitazatl were a really cool species but after reading this I love them more.

You put so much thought into developing them not only as a species but as a Culture with History to them to and I love when people put that much into, it makes characters seem real, you always been an awesome storyteller and it was refreshing to dive into a piece of your world again :)

I exactly love that the Aitazatl are so family involved, I have high respect for species that have one mate for life and care deeply for family.

Also as I was reading this I keep asking myself what about them shapeshifting and then it was boom at the end, that was an unexpected plot twist and I love it, I always think it's cool to see an Origin to that ability ( then the normal they can shapeshifte because they can )

Its also so refreshing to see a fantasy world kinda go Scifi Scifi, with space travel and advance Technology.

I see that your Special offer is Ownership of this amazing species... this actually sadness me,
Just reading all of this I can really see just how much you put into developing the Aitazatl But because of that I can also see why you come to that destination and I Respect that.

It's up to you but I would be Honored to up the mantle of the Aitazatl species, I would try my best to give them the same love as my own species, but if you did give them to me, I want you to do one thing... I want you only to think of me as the caretaker of this amazing species, at any time you would want them back or what me to change anything I will be more than willing to and happy. :)

I can see just how much love you put in this species

I haven't had the chance to read all of it yet (it's a lot xD), but I've read some and you've got me so intrigued. The amount of thought you've placed in to them, it's so inspiring, I love when people place lots of thought into their species (as someone who does it herself)

I would love to have the species, if you'd allow me, I'd do my best to take care of them. And I've always wanted my own so badly, they're such a gorgeous species.

But aside from that

Its great to see from you again! Sorry about not responding before, life got so busy so quickly, that I felt it was too late to make a response xP

Also I have been thinking about discord, I would love to talk to you some time, maybe just one on one. I'd love to get to know you better Griffin~

I hope everything goes well for you! Take good care of yourself!

It's so good to see you again! It always makes me smile when I see something from you X3

It's cool to see you're working in animation at college, too! That sounds awesome, I hope it all goes well for you :D

I absolutely love all the lore you've put for the Aitazatl as well! It's neat to really see just how much thought you've put into them, where they get their shapeshifting from, their government, etc, and it is kinda sad to see you give them up, but I can sympathize with how you feel about them.

As much as I love the species, I don't feel I should offer to take them, I've hit probably one of my worst art blocks ever and can hardly get myself to draw anything, and I still haven't drawn my boy Leo :')
So, instead, I'll suggest that ShadowPikaboo becomes their caretaker, I know she eats up lore for breakfast and would definitely keep the species as you invisioned, I'd certainly trust her with anything of mine X)

Hey! It's awesome to see something from you again!

I know we've never really talked a whole lot, but I'm glad things are going well for you, and I hope things continue that way. Animation is such a cool thing to pursue--I wish you luck with your studies! X)

Also, all of this lore was amazing to read! I absolutely love how much thought and detail you've put into the Aitazatl! They're a really awesome species!
I'm gonna second mostly everyone here, but I just think it's so cool how you've written up history and government for them. It really brings them to life!
...Also, I really like that mix of Sci-fi and fantasy.

I hope that they'll go to a good caretaker, seeing as you've put so much love and care into them.
