q: what are you looking forward to in botw2?
i’m definitely on the playable zelda hype bus. whether she’s a partner we can have control over, or when both her and link are present we can switch between them, i would love it. esp if there are link/zelda-only sections (as it seems there might be with how link falls in the trailer). i mostly want it for matching outfits lmao. but my main thing is zelda’s powers should definitely not be her main way to fight (as in, even less than something like cadence of hyrule) it could kinda replace the champion powers in that you unlock them throughout the game, they’re optional, and they’re limited and have cooldowns. canonically it wouldn’t make sense for her to be super goddess gifted all of a sudden. plus imagine her wielding a lynel axe. freakin’ sick.
