Osiris is a Paradise Phoenix, a species though to be Extinct, or there so few of them they might as well be.

Paradise Phoenix lifespan go to 100,000 years and then they die but then they are reborn to live again, they will keep doing this until they are killed by unnatural causes.

In the old days of Deluna outside species were not welcome or the one that Where were slaves, the Paradise Phoenix were slaves to the Vaseterm, however as time went bye the numbers of paradise Phoenix slowly dropped and they became a Item of Rarity to have.

But how his species came to this has been lost, except for those who the truth.

Osiris has had many master in his existence, including Vanessa and Soledormir himself...but it wasn't until the silver Spears family took him in that he got to live a more free life. Osiris now chooses to Serve the silver Spears family after saving him from the Organization

So here some fun facts:

Osiris was the one who took care of Alexandria after her family was killed by Omen and her world was lost to Soledormir. Victoria still holds a great deal of respect to him, exactly after she lost her husband and she almost die herself.

He also was the one who cared for Judas, feeding, cleaning, etc... when Judas was a child, were Judas learn about heroes was for story Osiris told him, but Judas Memory are a mess up from his youth.

Osiris was the one who sent Dreamcatcher his wedding suit.

Osiris knows some crazy magic.

Osiris was a spy and assassin for Soledormir at one point. He can speak, read and write in the Chaos language ( Victoria actually knows this )

He also knows about Void, Shoji, Killy and others, there was a time Osiris was a slaves to Sol and had to do some dirty work like babysitting.

Osiris knows the origin story of his people and what happened.
Osiris knows about the silver moons.

Osiris knows how to make amazing tea.
