Xiinereva (zee-nair-vuh) are a water dragon species. They have fish scales instead of dragon scales. Their wings act as fins and are not for flying. Although they have nostrils and can breath outside of water, they prefer staying under water using gills which are located just after the jaw ends. They have very short barbs on their chin that are used for finding food, which are fish, through vibrations in the water. They have exelent vision in and out of water.

Length: seven-twenty-three feet avg. max is fifty feet.
Lifespan: up to three-hundred-thousand years
They have human forms and in those they're typically going to have something to do with the sea. Some are pirates while other are fisherman.
The tassels on their underside feel like cotton candy under water, but when above water, they feel like silk.
Types: They don't have a whole list, Xiinereva can only either be salt water or fresh water. Freshwater Xiinereva tend to stay in human forms while salt water stay in dragon forms.
Salt water types and fresh water types are forbidden to marry each other to prevent offspring that could throw off the balence. Any that break the rules and have offspring with another kind are put to death or thrown into prison. This law is constantly being fought but is unlikely to change.
More lore and stuff later, for now, that's all.
