The Trio (I'm just gonna call them that) are a group of friends who left their home country to travel and see more of the world, taking almost nothing with them, except for the memories and an old sailing ship.

Larrus is an incredible swordsman whose fighting skill has allowed him to earn a living by killing bandits and pirates. He's the strong-and-silent type, with a cryptic past that few people know anything about. He can count the number of people he trusts on one hand. However, he's also very loyal, courageous, and self-sacrificing. If he likes someone, he will do absolutely /anything/ to keep them safe.

The metal claw on his left arm is a magical weapon. It can't be removed and is extremely hard to damage.

Swiftstrike is Larrus's companion; a small, blue, cowardly dragon who he rescued off a rock in the sea. Swiftstrike is sweet and gentle, but unlike his master, he won't go throwing himself into danger to help his friends. (He will, however, give them as much emotional support as he can.) He's afraid of most things, and will usually flee whenever trouble strikes.

Astrid is a cheerful, optimistic and slightly reckless young woman who befriended Larrus while they were fighting in a war together. She sees the best in everyone and it's very hard to make her dislike you. She can look past almost any flaws (although she has no tolerance for child or animal abusers). She's often described as being a ray of light during dark times. This doesn't mean she never loses hope, but she tries hard to keep other peoples' spirits up.
Astrid can be kind of naive sometimes, usually trusting the wrong people and refusing to accept they're bad until the evidence is piling up around her.
