Having a hard time coloring pieces I have r n. I don't like anything I make, so i'm trying to analyze everything that I have a problem with. oof-
Especially this one.
If anybody has some criticism to offer or several tips, that would be awesome!!
I think i need another person's view.

I like the direction you're going with this one. My only suggestion would be to switch up the color palette a bit and try some contrasting colors and dynamic/interactive background ^3^

Me Thinks it looks good!
Me think in the end, if the background was dark, it would really help the colors pop.

Honestly to me it looking pretty good. I really like how you shaded the hair face. i think you should probably try to seperate the beige color from the cape. Other than that sis, it's good!

like the others have said, the color of the person's skin is a bit close to the color of their cape thing which makes things a little rough on the eyes.
if you want general criticism on your coloring, one thing ive noticed is you dont really do much with your shading-- that is, your shadows are always the same (your lightsource is always the same) and there're no variation in them, theyre always of the soft sort.
realistically, any animal subject (im including humans in this category 'cause we are lol) will have both soft shadows and some hard, cast shadows.
my brain's not working too well right now so my attempts to explain arent doing well (ive erased like 3 while typing this) but basically, on the "hard"/cast shadows-- if youre near a light or in a decently lit room, hold a hand out infront of the lightsource and look at the shadow cast by your hand.
another thing about cast shadows, the harshness/sharpness of their edges varies depending on how close the thing casting--

--the shadows is to what the shadows are cast on. (oh this is worded badly, im sorry)
the closer the thing is, the sharper the shadows will be.
lightsource intensity also affects shadows, weaker lightsources mean less intense/lighter shadows than intense/bright lightsources. (because less light - less contrast between light and dark)
in some cases with lots of overhead lights (like, say, a set of 3 on a ceiling fan) shadows will look a little softer due to there being sets cast by the lights and said sets being of varying intensity. there will be a strong "main" one and the others will be weaker but still noticeable.
but dont worry about ^that^ quite yet, i just threw it out there for awareness lol.

Looks great so far! I don't really know how I should critique since I don't really do this style, but it looks good :3
