Day two. Second painting ever in Colors!
I thought I should give it a try to depict myself. Perhaps not the easiest subject to start with but it will be fun to see how my skills develop by revisiting once a month or so.
Should I perhaps follow a course/book? How can I improve until next try?
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

This isn't bad atall for your first human portrait! :0
Keep it up! By simpley looking and watching the playbacks of other peoples art on here you can learn very quickly on how to draw better!

first decide on a style, look into the facial spacing, anatomy, and hair of that style and then go on youtube. once youre its trial and error whilst studying others pieces

if you are set on realism or semi realism there should be no hard edges like you have on the nose and eyes

@Athsmangold that is really good advice. Would you say Youtube is a good channel for studying others pieces and techniques? Could you point me in a direction perhaps?

Hey I have a question, when you use the select and move tool, is there any way that you can duplacate the thing that you have selected? That way you dont have to draw the same thing over and over again? I thought about duplicating layers but there wasn't enough layers. No hurry, just wonderin'.
Thanks!
