I had a brief amount of time a few nights ago to sketch while my mother was walking one of our dogs. (Not copper, haha.)
There's train yard not too far off in the distance, past the thicket.
Still trying to get used to the applet, haha. I had a lot of problems with this one artifacing and being hard and pixellated, though it doesn't look like that on the screen, thankfully. A quick look through the forums suggests that this is because of too low of an opacity on the brush, but it still did
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

This painting looks like at any moment some knife wielding maniac might jump out and attack. It just has that kind of look to it. If that's the feeling you were after you sure did depict it very well.

No axe murderers around here (so far as I know,) but later in the evening a coyote went trotting out of the wood and down the tracks. A bit less eerie, but I'd rather the coyote than the maniac. The area is a bit creepy and horror movie-esque.

I'm glad to know there are no axe murders in your area. I don't know what to say about the coyote walking around. The good thing about seeing one coyote is that it was only one and not a pack of hungry coyotes. lol! Maybe you should carry a machete to protect yourself. :)
