Sorry about your illness and everything it has caused for you. I myself have tourette syndrome (a disorder in which my nerves act in ways I can't control) but I don't allow it to take total control over me. It may not be as serious as what you're going through but try not to let it destroy your hopes. There are many self-taught artists in the world, not to mention a little thing called the internet (endless online tutorials). Even if it takes years to get really good, those are years well spent. It takes years to get a college degree, so the only real differences are you learn on your own and you save yourself a big tuition fee! :) So if becoming a great artist is your dream, then make it reality. I wish you luck!
