Legends told to this Day, describe a strange creature... with lines glowing in the dark. The creature seems like a Wild Beast at first and from a distance, but instead of attacking... it hides away.
Those who follow it either find Refugee from the chill of the night, or a Place to get out of the sun.
Nobody knows what the Creature's purpose is, but find that it eats Cactus Pears leaving behind mere scraps... so the people dubbed it "Pear the Bashful Guide."

glowing lines seem crowded and picking one colour for them would fit story and provide fluidity but the overrall drawing is decent, in the future if you decide to keep drawing mythical beasts work on textures and shadows, i myself need to work on textures as well if you look at my latest painting

Thank you, and yeah, I'll admit I got them a bit clustered, but I figured the glow would be right for the fact it's night, and they're being hidden by the Pelt she's adorning, but Pear's not the first of her kind, I've drawn. Silk was the first, and the lore behund multi-colors are basically: Elements of the Enviornment during her Adaptation.
Icy Blue representing the cold of Night, Red the Searing Heat of the Morn, and Yellow the rare mid points of temperature.
Plus it's not my first cryptid... in general. I got plenty galore of weird creatures that just come to mind.
