Personality: Stal is gruff, short-tempered and extremely devoted to his musical interests. He's a perfectionist who is rarely happy with anything he creates. However, he's also loyal and fair. He sometimes loses patience with his bandmates, but would never be abusive towards them, and is ultimately (though grudgingly) understanding when they need to take time off from band work for any reason.

Despite his appearance, Stal is not an undead monster. He's a Bone Dragon, a species originally created by sorcerers by infusing dragon corpses with magic. They were supposed to be infertile, but due to a flaw in the sorcerers' spell, they were able to reproduce, making offspring that had the same physical characteristics as their parents but were not undead. Eventually they escaped from their creators and became a species in their own right.
Stal doesn't eat, doesn't drink, and is kept alive purely by the magic running through his system. The orb in his chest is the source of his power. Working like a heart, it pumps magic through his body to keep him alive. If the orb was somehow destroyed or removed, he would die within minutes.
On a side note, he doesn't have any blood. If cut, his flesh releases a glowing blue substance the same colour as his orb.
