I found this drawing that has almost 3 hours invested in it and the description said "I'll finish it I promise"
I never finished it
I think it would be easier to restart than to try to complete this one, theres alot I would do different
This drawing was further along but I did a branch painting because I kept erasing the mouth for some reason I think I wanted to reposition it
I think this is the point where the drawing was at its best. I didn't agree with my shading choices after this point
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Looks great. From my own experience, if you just keep persisting and adding to it you will eventually work out all the problems. Starting over from scratch can be really helpful, but looking at this one I think you just need to keep adding to it.

Wow-- such nice detail! I can see how it took so long.

This really looks very nice. Hope you get to finish it sometime. Personally I leave a lot of my WIPs undone. I'm not sure if that's an artist thing or I'm just lazy or what? One time it took me about 5 years to paint a picture for my sister in real life because I kept putting it off.

Really shows the form. I know what you mean on finishing when it doesn't seem right. Sometimes I can waste hours at a time trying to fix something instead of just painting something else I like. But then, I guess there is something to learning to persevere as well.
I suppose if it were for a client you would have to persevere. But if it is a hobby, well...it is about whether you enjoy working on it more.
