^ Ok, to sum it up, when he was young his kingdom got invaded and fell apart. Some people got killed in the invasion and some people got captured (like the parents). It is unknown where they were taken. Fiery and Zaphyr managed to escape, but some plot-convenient thing (that I haven't figured out yet) happened to Fiery that made him get hurt and have amnesia. Fiery and Zaphyr got seperated, and Zaphyr assumed Fiery died from the invasion until they reunite as adults years later. But Fiery didn't remember Zaph as his brother, so Zaph was trying his best to jog Fiery's memory about their past and their parents.

(Also Fiery would spoil his daughter and call her his princess even til she reaches her mid-30s lol
