Note: this was created while there was a drawing "You don´t like ponies?" with a crying Rainbow Dash to illustrate it. Not only did I find the way it was promoted there pretty annoying, the comment section derailed pretty fast as well. This was planned as an antithesis to this drawing and as a comment on the many flamewars this topic caused...

I´d also like to remind people that, at it´s core, it´s just a fanbase. There are a whole lot of different people in there, people have different opinions on it´s quality, take it more or less seriously and are more or less eager to tell it to other people. So stop acting like everyone who gets part of it gets swallowed by a secret cult. I´d also like to remind some of the fans that not everyone who likes the show must be as much of a fan as they are... Can´t we all stop generalizing for a sec now?

Yeah, it's even part of the Rules of the Internet... Continuos hatred will transform modest fans into rabid ones... and even negative publicity is publicity. With a growing and increasingly devoted fanbase the haters will hate it even more and in growing numbers. Nobody wins here...

What annoys me is that the show looks like it's for 6-4 year olds.
And, most people are SO addicted to the show, that they replace words like "anybody" and "everybody" with "anyPONY" and "everyPONY". hay brunez/pegasustars, i iz nat a ponie. thx u. I can manage to tolerate bronies'/pegasisters, but sometimes it just gets plain annoying... Now I can't browse the internet freely without seeing at least ONE pony picture. I mean, I tried watching an episode and I could not finish it. The shrill voices... The flash animation... THE HORRORS! I really just don't understand the MLP:FiM culture. The funny thing is, the show seems to be directed to a female audience, however, the majority of people who watch and like MLP:FiM are males. Just... ugh. They've almost taken over the Minecraft Forums (mine little pony? REALLY, GUYS?) and now they're heading for Colors!.
I mean, I know it's the internet, I shouldn't get mad at it, but the sight of an internet user who relates everything to ponies just annoys me...

Valentines Day Barbie was the mean girl, she was evil and sometimes there'd be a murder mystery.
