#ixmyre #blue #help #critique
i've started feeling in a bit of a rut about my art again, and so i just want some critique on my art/artstyle
any major or glaring flaws you can see in it? be as harsh as ya want, i don't mind
one thing holding me back is my anatomy, ik that, but i'm having a really hard time improving that due to my artstyle not being one that mixes well with realism
backgrounds also aren't my strong suit, but uh, i plan on improving both... slowly

The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

I think there are some things that you always need to keep improving, stuff like anatomy and color theory, due to how difficult it is to master them. For you specifically though, a lot of your art is very character-centric, I think it’d be good for you to practice doing more full backgrounds.
uh, that’s all I've got at the moment.

^^^
Backgrounds and still life is something that is incredibly lacking in this community.
While you don't necessarily have to be realistic it is hood to break away and try new styles at times. Especially if you plan to go into the art industry, showing that you have flexibility with style is a good skill to have, and is one that people are going to want. :0
Though this is all just mostly in general knowledge, I think since you're style looks very dynamic and active you should use that to your advantage to create interesting angles, scenes and movement.
Maybe try to depict a scene without words or context. Find little nuances that just make your work more eye catching to the viewer, emotions, movement, color, foreshortening etc.
I think honestly it really depends on what you're trying to achieve with your art. Clarifying your goals will help narrow down what needs to improvement.
