ok so, im having a really hard time remembering the first part of the dream, but uuhh
the start of it was a mix of both discord rping and seeing the rp scenes play out like some game or cartoon
particularly, it seemed to involve something relating to the death of #phantomkore (a good thing to most ppl since he's pretty sadistic and cruel, screwed up many things)
i remember drift was in the dream, and he was very pessimistic,, i also remember king sonic was like? really injured, rlly badly, but didn't care
if i'm right, i think drift went to look for any remaining signs of kore, both in case he'd come back (aka b ad) and maybe for a chance to ask him "WHY HAVE YOU DONE ALL OF THIS?"
i remember there was some sort of argument between king and drift at another point, something about kore not rlly being dead but not alive either, etc. it's rlly interesting but hard to remember

the dream then sorta transitioned to me watching youtube on my switch? judging from some things in it, [cont.

it appears it was the "next day" in the dream, in the morning
i was watching a minecraft related youtuber i've been watching daily almost, ibxtoycat, and he seemed to be discussing a chunk loading error that occurred and really glitched a world he was in
it seems the video had been made while he was prepping a separate one for a.. challenge run, i think? thats the best i can remember
either way, he decided to play the original, unedited clip of him stumbling across the glitch since he'd been unable to replicate it since, i feel like he did it on stream and saved it afterwards tbh but i cant tell
either way,,,,
it was basically toycat at a village, trying to run across a stone brick bridge he'd built to a seperate village across this fairly large lake, i do remember he specifically had a trident in hand, uh
he wasnt talking about much. he ended up standing on some sorta specific block while throwing the trident (it had the enchantment that makes it come back) at a drowned

that was on the shoreline, and he managed to oneshot it due to it being day and the drowned already having damage
so he just started running across the bridge while his trident flew back to him, and like
his game froze for several long moments (not stream lag) before unfreezing, it seemed fine except some jitteryness until toycat stafted looking around and seeing chunks had refreshed and were struggling to load in
he thought very little of it and just thought it was lag until he finally went across the stone brick bridge, and found chunk errors all over the place on the other side
he also had really weird physics, jumping either very high or very low, and there were basically large areas of nothingness, and certain blocks or things like fenceposts or lanterns were spazzing/stretched out, which is like the farlands in minecraft (aka, past 3 million blocks)
and it's strange because as toycat noted, the sun still set ingame, so that meant that no real lag was occurring if uh [cont.]

tick speeds remained normal
i remember toycat's character ingame had also turned pitch yellow somehow
he managed to somehow invite others into the game, curious on what would happen, and like.. seven people joined, but one of them seemed to either crash or just gave up on trying to properly load and left, making it only six
after a bit of toycat and others messing around and testing things in the glitchy world, i decided to hop on discord
and a fairly large handful of my friends just so happened to be playing minecraft multiplayer at the moment, so i decided to try and join them
the dream also ended off with like.. me talking to my bf @Space_Trash on discord, and in the dream he had been up at two am his time unable to sleep and thus just looking at my art, and saying somethin like "it'd be epic if i could draw"
and so seeing this i told him "but you c a n"
cuz he has this one rlly gud oshawott drawing from a long while back that i adore
we talked to eachother for a bit [cont.]

and eventually i somehow convinced him to try doodling a thing of my persona,, #heyheyitsme
i never got to see the end result tho because i woke up

and it's 4 am
so im going back to bed

i kept waking up a lot last night and had small dreams i dont remember, buuuut i had a dream i just woke up from that i /DO/ remember
ok so it seemed to be me and all my friends on discord,, and we were all in this big spaceship, on a cruise in space
we mostly kept eachother entertained via talkin bout random stuff/playin with eachother on our switches, until whoever the captain guy was (tall, strongly built guy, an adult, he had a spacesuit) told us there was a drawing related game we could play
i got curious and went and checked it out, and it seemed to be a game that gave you a stylized face, a prompt to draw around it, and then some players would judge how /accurate/ you got it to the prompt, not the quality necessarily
there was also a guideline mode that gave you basic shapes for a body underneath the eyes as well for those a bit less artistically inclined
some of us played the game for a bit until we eventually decided to just mess around in a drawing mode on the thing [cont.]

that let us essentially play the game, but without the "it's a minigame, hurry up" motive, simply just to mess around
then, there was this suddenly loud c r a s h from the side of the spaceship we were on, and the side of the ship had burst open for seemingly no reason, and because of that, we all had to run to the opposite side to avoid being dragged into oPEN SPACE
my friends gary and nate weren't too lucky tho, and nate in particular nearly got dragged out of the ship by the space vacuum, but the captain of the ship ran in and managed to grab him, and t r y to pull him to safety
thats when it was found this blue thing was clinging onto nate's leg for dear life
it was like... blue and seethrough, and had a brain visible exactly like chaos, but it was a small blob kinda like gooey
it wasnt either gooey or chaos tho, just its own thing
nate was finally dragged to safety with the blue thing with him, and the captain went and fixed the area that blew open (somehow)

while we all had a minor panic about what the blue thing was
it could actually talk, so it told us it meant no harm and it was sorry for scaring us
we inquired about what happened with the ship, and the blob says it doesnt know (which is fishy, but we couldnt get anything else out of it)
it gets kinda hard to remember the chain of events that happened after that, i remember there was some conversation /somewhere/ about the drawing game between me and gary, and talking about how cursed it would be to draw a puffball/someone of kirby's species, or someone like sonic or mario or klonoa, and i was just like
"dood lemme prove you wrong"
and for some reason the blob piped in outta nowhere, we didnt even know it was in the room, and said "that makes me think of when i saved myself via turning into a lego once"
and we both just paused and stared at the blob blankly in vague confusion
and the blob just. slinked away

also gary seemed to kinda be the protagonist of the dream, [cont.]

considering the dream's perspective was always going to him
while we were sleeping in the ship while trying to get to our destination, somethin happened that yeeted most of the power and made some alarms go off
waking up a lot of us
it was gary's perspective again, he sat upright and looked around before quickly sliding out of his bed and running to the door of the room he'd stayed in, and it was locked shut so he was stuck
he spent what felt like a good handful of minutes just trying to find ways to open the door, whether by brute force or otherwise, before it suddenly slid open on its own-it was the blob who opened it somehow, but it looked like it was,,, deflating? no, shrinking, thats the word
it looked terrified and confused, so gary ended up keeping it as a companion as he started looking around the ship, which was rapidly beginning to grow cold and lack oxygen
this lead to gary grabbing a spacesuit and putting it on in a rush just so he wouldnt freeze or suffocate

he couldnt find any of us in the ship, which was starting to make him panic, before suddenly some of these monitors came online somehow, and they listed the ship's condition as critical
and indicated heavy damage to its power and oxygen suppliers, plus it being bust open on the sides
and also indicated that, the ship had an escape pod area which was being prepped
gary was on the opposite side of the ship compared to it, which explains why he wasnt finding anybody
he started taking off down the ship's halls to try and find them, blob still in tow, before he ran into uuhh.. my friend sophie i think
she was wearing a spacesuit thing as well, and upon finding gary seemed immediately relived and hugged him
but then when seeing the blob, she literally screamed and pulled herself and gary away from it, taking off down the halls with him
the blob followed after at high speeds, shapeshifting, before going down a different path, and sophie explained along the way (which started a flashback)[cont

that the blob was the one who'd yeeted the ships source of energy and all that stuff, and also injured a fairly large handful of us, and had even done some form of possession on the ship's captain and murdered him via completely breaking his bone structure apart
sophie and a few others of us had gone out looking for gary since he'd been the only one missing due to having been trapped in his room before (which in the flashback, actually showed it was the blob that got the door stuck..)
the ship then shook and an explosion was heard, and gary and sophie had to take another path, since the blob was there and shapeshifted into this monster
they booked it towards the escape pods and managed to set up a lockdown to slow the blob down, but somewhere somehow along the line gary was separated from sophie and trapped

ALSO THIS EXPLANATION IS BECOMING MUCH LONGER THAN THE DREAM ACTUALLY WAS
THE DREAM ONLY WENT ON FOR LIKE. A FEW MINUTES AT MOST BUT [cont.

THIS MAKES IT SEEM LIKE A LONG EPIC SPACE ADVENTURE
this is what happens when you have me explain things

anyway uh
gary could pretty much only sit and wait for his demise, since he couldnt figure out a way to open the door or really do much else
and then the blob broke through the lockdown door that had trapped it, and it was no longer giant or anything but rather, it was quite shrunken (even its brain shrunk somehow) and it had many long, thin tendrils
while approaching gary it told him that he would die out here if he didnt let it possess him, and gary's response was smth like "that would be better if i died rather than got possessed by you, chaos ripoff"
that angered the blob and it leaped at him, and gary had been sorta stuck in a corner and couldng dode easily, which my dream decIDED WOULD BE A GOOD POINT TO CUT OFF AND WAKE ME UP AT

and it's really bad because then that means the last thing i saw was an absolutely horrified expression from gary hfksjd

again this dream wasnt as long as it seems to be, this is essentially what i remember from quickly paced events that took roughly.. 6 minutes i'd say? the longest part was where gary was struggling to open the door to his room
