re: yeea lmao, ring's quite likeable personality-wise (especially as the game goes on and you learn more about him), but he also seems to not realize that saying certain things will seem weird, even if it's just a simple question or smth
out of context quotes for instance:
"Your sweat is so shiny and beautiful!"
"Your muscles look so happy!"
"... you don't think I'm a stalker, right? Right?"
"I will not rest nor bathe until the people of this kingdom are safe!"
(mildly ominously) "Work the muscle like you mean it."
(insert him shouting "Good! Nice! Great! Wonderful!" during battle almost constantly as you're doing attacks)
he doesnt actually have as many strange quotes as i make it seem he does, but they still pop in every now and then and give a good laugh lol
he rlly needs a hug if anything tho from what i can tell

i was considering just redrawing it, but i tried recently and i just kinda gave up
so if i post something i happen to rlly like and it fits the vibe of the old picture then i'll probably replace it then
