1. Armin is a vampire, and lives in a modern fantasy world of mine called Vallis. He spent most of his life in a big city called Shacklestone (which is the setting of my #ShacklestoneRP series).
2. He was once a normal human with a nice house, a wife and two young children - Frederick and Juliet. However, at some point, he was attacked by a vampire on the streets and turned into one himself. He was then blackmailed into working for an evil vampire lord named Sargon, whose ultimate goal was to wipe out the human population. Under threat of his family being killed, Armin was forced to help Sargon with his plans.
3. Vampires in my world can shapeshift into animals, usually having one particular form that they gravitate towards. Armin's preferred form is a Black Kite.
4. He's a proficient swordsman and is usually seen wielding a heavy longsword with a red gem set in the hilt.

5. He lost the ring and middle fingers of his right hand in a fight. Unfortunately this is also his dominant hand, so he had to learn how to do a lot of things left-handed.
6. He does have fangs like stereotypical vampires; they're just small and not usually visible.
7. He can use limited telepathy to communicate with others at a distance. But if they're more than a mile apart, it won't work.
8. He likes a lot of old rock bands, like Queen, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.

9. During his years working under Sargon, he became the singer of a cra.ppy amateur rock band called Cold Case that mostly did cover songs of the bands listed above. It broke up a few years later when one of the members got killed.
1O. Knows how to play the trombone. (He learned on a dare when he was about eighteen.)
11. He likes sci-fi and fantasy movies, though hasn't actually had the chance to watch many yet.

I2. He doesn't like spiders, especially tarantulas. He had an old co-worker ( #RRAnastasia) who kept pet tarantulas and sometimes set them loose in his room for a joke, which is the main reason why.
I3. He likes cars - the faster, the better. One of his dreams is to someday own an expensive sports car. He's never been able to obtain one without resorting to stealing.
I4. He tends to drink heavily as a coping method when stressed, and has suffered bouts of extreme alcoholism during some parts of his life. It can't kill him, though, due to being a vampire.
I5. He grew up in a rural village called Riverside, later moving into the city to be with his future wife. He still prefers quieter areas and small towns over the noise and commotion of cities.

I6. Since his wife's death, he hasn't had a single serious relationship with anyone out of respect to her memory. However, later in his life (post-ShacklestoneRP) he starts becoming more open to the idea of having another relationship.
I7. One of his children, Frederick, was also turned into a vampire and is still alive today. However, all the rest of his family are long gone.
I8. He's very sentimental and owns a lot of keepsakes that remind him of his past or people he used to know.
I9. He doesn't like werewolves. Most vampires don't like werewolves, and vice versa, but he can't explain the reason why. If you asked him, he'd just say that they're annoying and stupid.

2O. You could bribe him with expensive red wine. He loves the stuff and usually has about a dozen bottles of wine stored in his house so he'll never run out.
2I. He's very loyal to not just his friends and family, but also anyone he considers an ally. He'd jump in front of a bullet to protect someone who was on his side, even if he didn't like them much.
22. I'm always drawing his hair at inconsistent lengths, and this is because he actually does grow his hair out at certain points in his life. (Mostly during difficult times when he didn't care much about anything, least of all his own appearance.)

23. Before becoming a vampire, he had blue eyes.
24. His father was originally from Earth, and emigrated from there to Vallis before meeting Armin's mother. How he got there is a bit of a mystery, since Armin never asked him - but it's assumed that he hitched a lift with some kind of magical being that could travel between worlds. A rare, but not unheard-of occurrance.
