Re: Halloween’s so much fun! On,y reason why I haven’t worn my own Fursuits on Halloween is I’d have to move them to my dorm from home and that would take a lot of space. I have my Lydia Deetz costume with me though which I am very excited to wear again!

Re: Thank you so much for the support- it really means a lot to me! I’m currently trying to set schedules in place each day so I can get what I need to get done out of the way and still have time to make my own art too, and so far it’s actually been working pretty great! I still have a boatload of homework, but at least getting it all done in bite-sized chunks makes it more manageable. Even still, all and all, animation school’s great! I’m happy I’m learning how to be a professional animator, concept artist, and screenwriter! I also have four partial fursuits, the heads and tails I made myself! Two of them are my sonas (Peaches the wolf and Winona the penguin (who has bat ears and wings)), and the other two are cosplays; King from The Owl House, and cartoon Beetlejuice as a dog!

Re: Aw, no worries! I kind of want to work in the animated film industry. I wanted to work for Laika for ages and ages, but as much as I adore stop motion animation, it’s a pain to actually do. I really like doing 2D animation a lot more, but I’d also be willing to still work at Laika if I could get a job with them in visual development/concept art department! If not, then I’d like to open my own studio and do hand drawn 2D animation ^^

Re: Oh yeah agreed! Animation is a major labor of love period but stop motion, and specifically claymation, is probably the most labor-intensive. I learned that the hard way with taking an intro level class and then from the process of building sets and puppets and using actual film cameras to make your animation is really painstaking, and that it wasn’t for me. I will absolutely always have major respect for stop motion animators (I actually have a friend who’s doing her current junior short film all in stop motion and paper cut out animation!) , and I’ll always have such a deep love for the craft, but 2D animation is definitely more my speed! And whaaaaat?M can’t believe your friend has never seen Nightmare before Christmas before! Hopefully they enjoyed it when you watched it!
