Ah yes, the classic Aqua Blue Three DS that came out in Twenty Eleven. That was my first model and now I am currently using a New2DS xl. I'm sorry your ThreeDS' battery is dying. : c

Aqua Blue 3DS. Released in March '11. Now we have the New Nintendo 3DS XL, with 4x processing speed and double battery life.

hmm, if you ever really wanna keep using your 3ds, the issue you probably have is a swollen battery in the back
ive had my 2ds for several years and it went from being able to stay on for probably around six to eight hours to only about fifty minutes due to a dying/swollen battery
so if you ever want your ds to be useable for long periods of time, then ye,,, new battery is the way to go
